I loved the book and the short film was just so great.

I watch the clip about Paul talking about his films and yes there is DAAS stuff in there.

These short films aren't dark they are Paul.

Now this is why I love to watch the things he does. He the more then just someone on tv he is an onion.

Not particularly meaningful or interesting. Acting is basic, even Hugo's voice doesn't do much for it. Comes across like a student Tim Burton wannabe(e) playing with Adobe After Effects. Not even "charming". Whimsical perhaps.

Hugo Weavings voice was cool. The actress didn't quite know how to project the kind of resigned desolation that Jake Gyllenhaal did in Donnie Darko.
