avril can sing sarah song's easily but i don't know if sarah can sing avril songs like what the hell , when you're gone among others. i just can't imagine if she can hit the high notes and maintain high the energy like avril does with her song

I don't know. I think to sing this song, a person needs to have stronger, more mature vocals. Think of Kelly Osbourne singing 'Ave Maria'. The sound wouldn't fit, right? Not to critique Avril's singing, and she surely doesn't sound like Kelly Osbourne, but it just isn't right somehow...

This girl sucks. Half of her sucess lays between her legs. Her voice needs some tuning and her accent sounds so horrible.

I don't think covers are meant to harm the originals. I see them as a way for the cover artist to pay tribute to the original artist. She obviously likes this song enough to want to sing it. I like it. Probably about as much as I like Sarah's.

This is pathetic. What made Avril think that she could actually do this song? Want to hear the true, beautiful, and original version? -Sarah McLachlan. Agreed with branch5009 this is nowhere in Avril's vocal range. Ew.

her vocals are not so good for this one. Sarah's voice is way better than avrils. I like avril though but her voice did no good to this song. It made it look bad. this is not her genre
