i got a 66 fastback but i swapped the 65 cobra motor with the 6 and i have a rock crusher 4 speed with hurst linkege would you happen to know were i can get good front disk brakes
I would try Mustangs Unlimited. Out of all the parts supplier companies i feel that they're the best especially when it comes to stock, service, shipping and prices. Waiting on a chrome header from them at the moment.
cool, i've got a 1966 fastback 200ci 4speed manual too, but my engine runs bad, my brother's 67 mustang sounds just the same, did you have this problem too? What do you think it could be? The carburator and fuel pump are working fine so could it be fixed with a new set of spark plugs and wires, dirtibutor cap, rotor, points and coil? Or do these engines have an other common cause to run bad?
Nice job on that '67 and the color really sets it. Nice one keeping the original 6, to be honest i cant remember any serious problems with the motor, only minor things to make it run better was a brand new carb, plugs and coil, and now am lookin at a rebore and some new rings coz of some oil in the plugs.
i've put new plugs, plug wires and coil on it yesterday and runs great now. I've just bought the car like 3 weeks ago, and i was thinking of putting a holley carb on it and some dual exhaust headers, but now i'm thinking of upgrading it to a v8. which would be kind of expensive as i allready payed 10000euros for it, and i'm just getting started, there's still work to be done that will cost money. Luckely i'm 21 and still have the time to figure all of it out.
Why? And ruin the value of the original car? One of these days, the l6's will be worth more just b/c no one has them anymore. Amazing looking car. I love my gold 66. 289 and 4-speed. I get offers for my transmission all the time. Keep it running!
Hi. I have a 66 I'm restoring . I bought new fenders from CJ Pony due to the current fenders having some damage. Now I'm kind of really want to keep
the original fenders on it and just have the body work done. What worries me is the bondo. What would you recommend?

Great job on the restoration. What kind of antenna did you have? It looks shorter than stock.

i was told that without a/c, the engine would run better and save more gas. i have a 66 6 cylinder stang. Anybody know if this is true?
