  • edwardtang1977, that remains one of the simplest, yet best and most accurate comments I've seen posted. Everytime I hit this section and read your post I laugh. " Most bodybuilders eat more than they should. That is why the gym is filled with fat muscular people." LOL..so true!! That phrase should be posted on the wall in every gym around the world.

  • my hero!!!

  • most bodybuilders eat more than they should. That is why the gym is filled with fat muscular people

  • Very true.

  • that is very true, depending on your metabolic type u have to adjust ur calorie intake accordingly for muscle mass gain, for taht toned look without putting on fat..it can be done...it just takes time to explore ur own body and find out what exercises work, what form u need and what typical diet gives u the best results...remember u still need to eat for recovery..on days off u can cut down on the calories more but before and after a workout a gd meal or carbs and protein is essential. stay fit.

  • People take everything Steve says literally! They don't understand he knows his shit!

  • One thing I notice about diets is that they try to con you into thinking

your eating exciting food and even though you have to eat less, they

make the quality and consistent intake of food a relatively important

consideration. I think overeaters and dieters alike have a similarity,

in that they both are nearly obsessive about the food they eat. I

think if you can make food an unimportant part of your life, the dieting

    part becomes much easier.

  • I can agree with that last idea. its like when someone tells you not to think about something its your first response to think about it. If you sit around and think. I cant think about food. I cant eat.. I am on a diet it makes you think about it more

  • Words of wisdom here

  • your video is so truee, keep doing ur vids!

  • Hello there, I never recommend people to eat less and be hungry, eating just once a day makes it harder to burn fat. The most important thing is to let your body know that it is getting enough food reserves in your nutrition so it don't have to store any fat as food reserves. Eating often, but healthy!! will really help with fat burning since the fat is not needed anymore so will most of it be used as energy to your muscles when training.

My tip: Eat often, Eat healthy, and do exercises.

  • i used to drink alot of pop with every meal now i drink water that is 1000 calories less every day and i eat maybe 2400 calories a day and work out 2 ,30 min cardio exercises a day and wieght lifting when my muscles arnt sore can i loose 100lbs of fat in year

  • it all depends on how determined you are. my friend lost 100 lbs in 6 months. he may have lost some muscle but not much cuz he never worked out or played sports.

  • 1000 calories less? Wow ....

  • Thanks! Please tell a friend.

  • i tell people constantly. :) real information, no bull.

  • i have a question about Cholesterol.. if RDA says 300mg is 100% for a 2,000. then is it safe to say for a 3,000 diet 450 is the 100 percent mark?

  • Yes! Sorry, but the days keep getting away from me.

  • Thank you! My pleasure. Please tell a friend.

  • steve, are there any new videos to come?

  • yo steve when i finish eating and i want to excerise how much time should i wait before working about and i followed your tips and i lost 25 pounds thanks to you

  • Yeah...cutting calories to lose weight...shocking. Where are you finding these people buddy, psychological war fare against delicious food, GOOD LUCK.

  • Speaking of leanness, calories and swimming, I read that great swimmer who just won 8 medals at the Olympics would consume something like 12,000 calories per day. He IS pretty lean however. I don't know if he really hit 12,000 every day, but I'll bet it was up pretty high and on some days for sure. They certainly didn't want him losing any need muscle due to large calorie shortages.

  • The danger I believe is having that large a cal deficit day after day after day. You come in 1000 calories short on Mon, and then train on Tues again and come in another 1000 calories short, and then 1200 short on Wed. Hmmm, yeah you're bodies going to be reaching for some of that muscle for sure. It needs those calories for body functions, digesting food, your workouts, repairing muscles, daily activities and on and on and will only take So many from fat. The balance will come from lean muscle.

  • That's correct erukian. if you're consistanly burning 4000 a day, but only taking in 3000, the calorie deficit will be too much. Especially if you're doing this on most days. I've read where Tri-athletes take in 4000 to 5000 calories a day to avoid muscle loss. If you weigh yourself daily or weekly, you'll know what's going on. If you're dropping 1 to1 1/2 pounds a week or two maybe, you're fine. Any more then that and it's muscle loss. I try to keep it to 3/4 of a pound to 1 pound a week.

  • When I look at female competitive swimmers, although VERY fit, they seem to be a bit higher in fat then other female athletes that do hard cardio work; gymnasts and track and field athletes for sure. The ice bath you're talking about I'm sure has no negative effect. I go for walks to recuperate from hard workouts. Something about swimming though I feel is not a good way to get cut. Bodybuilders who show up on stage with high degrees of bodyfat are sometimes mockingly refered to as " Swimmers."

  • The second idea I believe in a big way becuase as a summer swimmer, I would experience this everyday. If I spent an hour or two in the lake water, whether swimming, water skiing, or just floating around, when I get out of the water,..I'm beyond starving!! If there's food around of any kind, I'll eat like there's no tomorrow. I'll eat WAY more calories then I normally would. A long walk or run or aerobic workout in the gym however, has the opposite effect. It reduces my appetite.

  • O.K., I see what you're saying with Ice baths. I thought you meant,...I don't know, working out in an ice bath or something. I've read several theories on this regarding fat gain. The second idea I believe much more than the first. I read that when you're exposed to cold water for long periods of time on a daily basis, that your body may in fact react to this by putting on a slight amount of fat to protect you against the cold water conditions it's constantly being exposed to. It's a theory.

  • So let me make sure I have this right, if i eat 3000 cals a day but i exercise a lot and have a 1000 cal defecit despite the fact that i'm eating so much, it doesn't matter how you get the deficit as long as it isnt over 500 it's safe? I figured eating so much despite the deficit wouldn't make my body think it's going into starvation mode.

  • i dont think your right because i think after when you work out and you jump into a ice bath it moves all the lactic acid out of your muscles so it helps with muscle soreness alot of athletes do this and they dont seem fat at all i see ufc fighters do it all the time how can cold water make you have more body fat that doesnt seen to make sence to put body fat on you have to eat its not because of cold water

  • Personally I wouldn't do an ice bath. I don't mean to sound rude, but it sounds silly. But my minds open. I've read that people who tend to spend a lot of time in cold water, tend to put on a little layer of fat in response to that. You can look at most deep sea female pearl divers, and they're generally a bit on the fatty side of things. Also, when you spend time in cold water, your body spends lots of energy keeping you warm. After a long day of swimming, you're starving! You may then overeat.

  • Hey Joe, The reason they say that 500 cal is the approximate limit you want to create for you daily cal deficit, is because beyond that you risk setting off starvation alarm bells in your body. I've heard Steve mention 300-400 cals a day. That's a safe bet. You're going to probably lose a bit of muscle anyway, but it's best to minimize that. Who knows, if you're good, you may put some muscle on AS you lose fat. But keep that deficit around 500. You won't notice it, but your fat cells WILL!!

  • Hi Steve!

I have a question quick question. Exercise or not, -500 cals a day will lose fat, correct? what about -1000 cals but with lots of exercise and cardio, i'd be eating more than not exercising but i'd have a bigger defecit, is this healthy?

    Thanks! -Joe

  • hey steve great video! can you do a video on ice baths and do they actually work and are there any dangers along with it thanks

  • I'd be interested to hear what you have to say as well. I read through Brad Pilon's big 5 myths related to weightloss and eating. On 4 of them I believe he's absolutely correct. But on intermittent fasting,..hmmm I'm not so sold on that one. But my minds open. If it's possible to train well on a fasting day and you have enough stored glycogen and energy to train, then maybe. But just the act of fasting for some obscure health reason, to me has no basis in fact. I'm VERY skeptical. Anyone else?

  • Dear Steve,

have you heard about the "eat stop eat" plan of Brad Pilon and if yes, what are your thoughts about it as an expert?

  • BS!

  • Thank you!!! ~Steve

  • you are an inspirational speaker.

  • Hey im pushing on the tredmile of incline of 15 (which is max) then i go for 4.4 and burn 900 calories for 35 mins and i push weights, i am not loosing any weight, i have my photos up from my first week of doing this on my profile. i eat every 2 hrs and not after 8pm,

  • WOW! Fantastic. That's a great job! You should be very proud. Keep up the good work.

    Steve

  • Steve I just want you to Know when i tuned into your videos for the very first time I weighed 265 pounds December of 2007 to this day I now weigh 183 pounds thank you very much for you help sir.

  • i have followed this guys well explained advice and have dropped 22lbs of fat off my body. Thanks steve for the videos.

  • GREAT job!!!

  • If you want to live a happy and fulfilling life the best thing to do is to change your mentality.

'Most people overeat because they find it helps them cope with stress....so my take on this: find out what makes you happy...so you know when it is happening!!!!'

What I mean by this is that happy people tend to be thinner than they unhappy counterparts. Although some fat people can be jolly the truth is that really they are not...they comfort eat to make them feel happy. Find out what else will

  • Just to be clear, when Steve or any other good trainer is talking about limiting fats, they're talking about limiting saturated fats. Not Monounsaturated fats or Polyunsaturated fats (Omega-3). Good trainers will recommend that you put a certain controlled amount of fat in your diet. I'll bet 10 -15% of the calories in my diet are fat, mostly Mono-Poly Unsaturated fats. Are you saying Steve is harboring some hidden agenda? Your comment about BIAS, which I've heard before here, is very strange.

  • I generally stay away from the type of food items you're talking about. You should really be shopping on the outside aisles of any supermarket; natural whole foods. But if you're going to buy stuff like you're talking about, you can quickly add the protein and carbs per serving together and multiply them X 4. You'll see then how many calories are left over and divide them by 9 to get the actual amount of fat. Most labels are actually pretty accurate.

  • Yeah I'd be careful of the 0% fat labels. There are some food items, ( butter sprays) to name one, that list ZERO fat on their labels, even though actually there is about 6 to 10 grams of saturated fat in the entire bottle. The FDA allows this because if the serving size (3 sprays) doesn't add up to a significant amount of fat, they let them list the serving size as ZERO fat. No one uses just 3 sprays, so you end up getting more calories and fat through the use of the whole bottle. It sucks!

  • Let me write one more time: Saturated Fat is needed by the body. In fact, if you avoid eating Saturated Fat the body has its own mechanism to make it using blood sugar. But, the body does need Saturated fat but just not bucket fulls - it is a dietary requirement. But shit food isn't!

We all need to get past this mindset that just because something is bad for us in extreme excess doesn't mean that moderation would be! I guarantee that people who are obese are getting that way consuming too...

  • much processed sugary food. It is a given.

Nobody really, if we are being truthful, would be Morbidly Obese if they were eating Vegetables, Fruits, Chicken, Salmon, Fish, Turkey, Beef and drinking water! It's not going to happen.

So the truth of this calories in calories out is controversial at best. You see it does matter what you eat. The reason people are fat is because they can't control themselves...

  • No one is saying cut out saturated fats. What they're saying is you already get enough in your diet anyway, so limit them. A little sugar is O.K. You'll get it in your diet anyway. All carbs are essentially sugars, breads, fruits, pasta. Good ol' sugar from sugar cane is natural and really not that high in calories. A little bit on your grains won't hurt. I don't like it if it creates sugar cravings at the next meal, but usually it doesn't. Focus on training. Hormones take care of themselves.

  • You obviously not seen the commercials and products with 0% fat, but it still 9000 billion calories. The truth of the matter is that there are a load of people out there who believe that cutting out saturated fat altogether will help them with their health, I've seen thousands of comments like that including Steve with his BIASED views. Not of this is truth, sometimes less is more but sometimes too little is just as bad as too much.

  • He asked the question: Is there a difference between calories that come from a liquid, or solid food. In that context, a calorie is a calorie.

  • Noddy, if anyone on here sounds Biased, it's becasue we're biased in favor of science and against, hunches, gut feelings and old wives tales. So much of the health industry has been over-run by the latter and unqualified people who are not edcuating the public very well. A certain portion of any qualified personal trainers day is spent have to separate fact from fiction. We're going to keep being biased until enough people come to understand the process clearly.

  • Speaking directly and only about Calories, your body doesn't distiquish what source the calories came from. A Calorie by defition is a measured unit of energy. ( The amount of heat required to raise 1 liter of water 1 degree at sea level) They come from all food sources. Speakind directly to your specific question,..a calorie is a calorie. Now, if you're talking about, are there better food sources to get your calories from, because of nutrients or fiber or low saturated fats,...yes.

  • Actually it does matter where Calories come from. Take this as an example: what is the difference between Carbohydrate Calories and Protein Calories and Fat Calories?

The difference is the body needs all three to run healthy and they all have different affects on hormones within our bodies. As for saturated fats - perhaps people should be more worried about trans-fats and re-used cooking oils that become toxic more. Processed sugar is worse than Saturated fats.

  • In fact the human body does need saturated fats to work, it also needs both forms of cholesterol. Does it require trans-fats and toxic cooking oils that are reused?...no, it doesn't even need processed sugar.

For losing weight...yes, calories are important (to a point) but not the 'WHOLE' story.

  • Calories are calories no matter what the source; liquid or solid...doesn't matter.

  • It does!

  • Can you explain if liquid calories are the same as food calories? Explain which is better and what's the difference.

  • Alusaint, lastly your diet is not only too low in calories for a training athlete of your size, but it's got quite a bit of refined carbs and such. If I were on a diet like yours, I'd be hungry and craving all the time as refined sugars and carbs have that effect on people. With calories that low on top of it, you'll be miserable and you'll eventually go off your diet. You're setting yourself up for bingeing. Diet must me ENJOYABLE, or you won't keep it up for long. Make it enjoyable.

  • Alusaint, 10 calories per pound isn't a bad number to go by. If you're 245, then put your daily calories at about 2400 or 2350. That will take you down about 5 or 10lbs. When you get there, cut your calories again to about 2250. That will take you down to 225. When you get there, cut your calories down to 2100. That will take you down to 210...and so on. You'll lose weight slowly and lose very little muscle in the process. You'll feel better, look better, train better and maintain better.

  • Alusaint, I'm hoping Steve has video demonstration on his site to teach and show specifics. I know he will. So many people with so many good questions. It's getting tiring writing everything out in these little comment boxes. Some people don't even come back to get the response. My advice to alot of you girls and guys is spent $10 lousy bucks for one month and go get yourself a

BOAT-LOAD of solid teaching.15 days into it you'll be able to answer many of your own questions. You'll see.

  • You hold many of the BIASED views that Steve does - not that I don't like Steve...am not a hater!

There are things that Steve has said in his past videos that made me want to subscribe....most notably his idea of changing their psychological state slowly and gradually. He's mentioned this a number of times in his videos...I also like his Micky taking on certain gym equipment and I agree with him. But I don't agree with him on everything!

I still disagree with Steve and some of your comments.

  • I do not rate these video because I'll be BIASED about his views, even though he may or may not be right. I tend to agree with Steve about 50% of the time - which isn't bad because am opinionated anyway. I was 250 pounds when I started to watch Steve's videos and now am 180 but at 6 foot 2 that isn't bad and I don't have a belly or titties.

Opinions with weight loss, exercises, lifestyles and diets are always going to be complicated. Unfortunately not everybody agrees with each other on them!

  • This isn't fair, a man's stomach is a bottomless pit.

  • same

  • An example of taking fiber and bulk out of foods is juice-ing. I've always thought this was an idea based on " feelings " instead of science. You put fruit and veggies in a machine to remove all the fiber and bulk so the juice can get into your cells faster or something? Talk about unproven science! So much nutrient/ fiber that you need goes into your trash. Just eat the fruit whole! Drink a glass of this juice and see how HUNGRY you get 2 hours later. You'll eat MORE calories at the next meal.

  • Your diet will create a calorie deficit, but it might be too large depending on your weight. For your turkey sandwich, use Ezekiel 4:9 bread. No flour involved, just made from the sprouted grain directly and is more filling per slice. If you're goin to have cereal, the best is probably grape-nuts; the rest are too processed. Put ground flaxseed on your cereal. Those cereal bars are junk. Have two slices of Ezekiel with almond butter and real fruit spread on top, way better then any cereal bar.

  • if you are wonder what my weight is now im 245 pounds.

  • Rollride is correct. Protein is good and it releases glucagon into your blood stream which helps control blood glucose/insulin levels and thereby helps control your natural appetite. So do Omega-3 fats from the other side. You need more of both in your diet. Most fruits are filling and low hypoglycemic because of the fiber and the skin on the fruit, but with a banana, you don't eat the peel, so a banana or two on an empty stomach can make you come hungier at the next meal. It does for me.

  • I would drop 1 banana and replace it with a tall glass of skim milk and some sunflower seeds. Your diet might be a little calorie low, although I don't know what your weight is, and is probably in need of some natural protein. You should have a small snack before your cardio workout. Some extra protein and omega 3 fats would help keep you more satisfied along with more natural foods then cereal and cereal bars which are processed. Your diet isn't bad, but I would add some healthy calories back.

  • Damn. too bad it costs to sign up at his website. I would like to ask some questions.

  • hey steve

as soon as i wake up I do 45 minute cardio (turbo jam) then take a shower

    then at 9:00 I eat 3 bananas = 375 calories

then at 12:00 eat a serving size bowl cereal = 300 calories

    then at 3:00 I eat 1 turkey sandwich = 515 calories

then at 6:00 I eat 1 fruit and grain cereal bar = 170 calories

so in all thats about = 1360 calories in all

is that a good plan to help me lose weight

  • this diet sucks.

you are starving yourself, and mostly losing muscle.

Add some real foods, some meat, dairy products, and still stay in a -500cal deficit. good luck.

  • Alusaint, you are one of the very few people who actually know what they're doing.

Let me ask you this, are you planning on implementing resistance training to your cardio at all? If so, how do you think you would change your diet?

  • 02chevy, I hope you come back from time to time and check in with us. You posted where you are now weight and healthwise. Maybe this site and the people on it can provide a little accountability for your program. When your conditioning improves and your weight drops plus all the activity, you'll probably see some of that depression fade away. A lot of great info on Steve's site. Use this site and it's info like a bible. Frankly 02chevy, I'd like to see what you can really do. Anyone else?

  • My pleasure. Don't quit!!!

  • At your age and condition the type of snack is not ctitical. You're eating in general should try to be lower in fat. Old tennies are fine for walking and lifting weights.

  • Thanks Steve! I appreciate the help and advice.

  • OK...here's my "deal". I signed up with the Y, two months ago, and haven't gone ONCE! I'm 53, weigh in at 260 and I'm 5 10. Being diagnosed with depression and bi-polar and having little or no motivation knocks the crap out of me.

When I do start going, it will be in the afternoon right after work. What kind of snack should I have before (not a fruit fan here)? Also, are old tennies OK for cardio and weights? I can't afford a 50.00 pair of New Balance right now.

  • heres your problem, you need to exercise more, eat healthy, stop putting all that crap in your mind, start putting good things in your mind like joelosteens book, learn to control your thoughts, think positive thoughts on purpose, eliminate negative thoughts on purpose, laugh more, hug more, and then you'll feel better. your negative health might also be due to a lack of forgiveness in your life. btw this doesn't happen over night.

  • steve you need to edit in one of those cartoon glints on your smile at the end. ding !

    now THAT is marketing genius.

  • Keeping your calories consistant WILL keep you at a certain bodyweight. Weight training will keep your BMR fires burning strong, but the part about eating the same food and calories as when you lost the weight, will now somehow make you put on weight is false. I know someone who has kept their bodyfat extremely lean for over 35 years now by journaling what they eat and being consistant with their eating pattern.Same level of activity, same volume of food, same bodyfat. No effect from age either.

  • this is the exact misinformation that has diluted peoples brains. and why obesity has become an epidemic in alot of countries. how is lowering calories gona help people to control their weight in the future. you dont mention BMR or the fact that the body gets used to you consuming less calories and therefore will need less calories to survive, and in turn you will gain weight if you eat the same food you ate when your lost weight, weight training to increase BMR and low carb diet is the the key

  • It's not just about calories. You can become extremely obese if you get Cushing's Syndrome, with absolutely zero excess calories.

  • Cushing's Syndrome is a special case and not relevant to a typical person who needs to loose some weight

  • I know bring a salad(lettuce-onions-olives-tomatoes-croutons-and olive oil and balsamic vinegar) with a few pieces of chicken or a can of tuna.

In my break I eat yogourt with fresh red raisins or any small fruits they taste great.

I drink plenty of water with a piece of lemon and in a month I lost about 5 pounds.

So basically, start eating WELL, no junk at all.

    Eat smaller portions.

    Walk,bike.Change your attitude.

You will for sure lose weight.

    You will need new clothing..

  • That's a good idea. Thanks! I'll add that to my to do list!

  • I see there's quite a few small stations around the Clearwater, Tampa and St. Petersburg area. Talk stations and All sports radio and things of that nature. It would make an interesting proposal. How to get lean and cut, how to build strength and muscle. Body Performance,...Separating fact from fiction. 30 minutes a day with call-in, weblogs, active site and internet streaming. I can't believe that at least one station wouldn't take a serious look at it. Doesn't hurt to ask around.

  • Of course radio stations are going to only bring on people that they know can get the listeners, both on the radio and on the net. Advertisers then follow of course and the program's up and running. The stations then work to get even more listeners and that's certainly a good thing. Health and fitness and how to get there is ALWAYS a hot topic. God I remember those nightly wars on the Donahue show regarding the Atkins diet. And I thought only politics got heated. Make challenges to scam artists.

  • Actually, most famous trainer don't really know that much. They just struck gold with average or crappy products but great marketing.

  • Using the mantra, " We're here to separate FACT,..from FICTION," is a good one. " Fact from Fiction,"... " Fact from Fiction,..." Fact from Fiction,"... You're a very good commuicator and your site and logo are spot on. You even have a nice sign off that people remember; " Love your body." Kind of like.." Good night Mrs. Calabash...." Finding someone to consult you as to how to get 30 minute or 1 hour show with a small radio station to start would help. They'll set up the streaming.

  • It would be interesting to find out how many people hit your site and videos daily. You're already creating a certain amount of action on the net and getting people from all around the world. A lot of the best writers and trainers who really know the most, are not very good communicators for the general public. Some of the best communicators, yes,..like Susan Powter, don't know very much.I think you bridge both worlds very well with the proper education and background and a clear voice.

  • Thank you! That was the main idea. Short, factual and to the point.

  • The 236 vids you produced on Youtube Steve was a phenomenal idea.Until about the 1rst of May, I'd never heard of you. I think out of nowhere I Googled " bodyfat " or "lean bodyfat" or something, and it brought me right to the Youtube site. With so many videos, and of you sitting in the same position in front of your computer, it has a certain consistancy about it. It draws the viewer in to play them out. The fact that they're 1-5 minutes is also an excellent idea. ou've also got a great site.

  • Amen!

  • It's easy to know how you're going to answer a question if they just watch your videos. Calories is all, not what you eat, but healthier is always better and just do real exercise like weight lifting large muscle groups and cardio like on a treadmill or something and you're set. No fads.

  • Hi steve, I've been focusing on weight training for muscle mass for the past couple months. my body comp is around 20%, i want to transition into fat burning. As far as diet goes i've heard your seminar on diet but i was curious what's the best way to eat less and make sure i don't lose my muscle i earned?

  • Steve, great vid. Im looking to lose some excess flab but while going to the gym, which fat burners would be best to use in line with weight training and cardio? thx

  • What would be nice here is a radio program. A program that you could also stream on the internet. I find myself coming back to Steve's youtube site 2 or 3 times a day. Even with all the back and forth name calling, it's a hot site with with some good energy. Maybe a 3 hour program with call in and then the website for video demonstrations and whatnot. I'm particularly thinking of the younger generation. A lot of education is needed there and a radio program with internet access would be perfect.

  • I love that idea. I just need to figure out how to do that. As much as I love the Internet I'm just not that technical.

  • what up steve. i always watch all your vids and i couldnt agree with you more on your philosophy to weight loss... i used all your tips and for all new subscribers, listen to the man he definately knows what he is talking about... people always go from eating horrible to suddenly wanting to eat everything healthy and one hour of cardio and they generally do it for about a week and stop because of lack of results...weight loss is not a sprint, its a lifestyle.. thanks steve

  • I couldn't agree more! Thanks!!!

  • sounds like you are in a big room

  • I exercised every day, and ate healthily - but obeyed the tale about not eating after 6pm (after gym). I thought the pain I felt was 'fat metabolism'

I did this for years, and only got fat.

My sister stayed with me, and told me that I should be eating after - so I did.

I immediately noticed result. Within 8 months I had lost 13 kg.

People should know about 'recovery'. You may not think that many people are as stupid as not to eat after exercise, but I can assure you we do exist.

  • Great job! Keep up the good work!

  • Great job!

  • very good video i lost 20lbs in the last 3 months but it wasnt from eating like a pesron trying to win a trophy. i just ate less

  • That is so true. After you realize that this recipe works, you get motivated to push a little harder. It really works! I love this. Steve, many thanks!!!!

  • My pleasure!

  • you are great, steve! love the straight talk and realistic tips. and for anyone who doubts his methods, i can vouch for them - i have not cut out any foods from my diet that i enjoy, i simply eat less of them or substitute for light or fat free versions, and have started slowly with 30 min walks 3x a week and have lost almost 15 lbs. in 2 months. everything in moderation. :)

  • Thank you and keep up the good work!

  • Steve, I'd like to sign-up but PayPal won't allow me to unless I add a checking account to become verified. I'm not comfortable doing that. Can you look into adding a real merchant account to process credit card transactions?

  • Hey Taz...I have been using PayPal for years and it is totally safe. Nothing to worry about!

  • I think you should be able to join without a Pay Pal account. I know I joined to test the site and it just asked me to create a login and password and then it debited my check card.

  • it's so called self-destruction

  • Dont get me wrong, exercise clearly contributes to fat loss through a variety of mechanisms, but, again, it's less the hour you spent training and much more what happens during the other 23 hours of the day that will maximally affect fat loss.

  • one hour in the eliptical can make you burn 1000 calories...

that means you can heat 2000 calorias per day and still loose weight ...

did you even work out ?? you must be a fat dude with no hope and no motivation to go to the gym thats why you talk that way about gym and you want other people to corroborate you

  • Finally, someone who really understands the process.

  • Thanks. Just training!

  • hi steve, i have a question on genetic limits, how long what it take to reach that limit? and you are looking bigger man!

  • 20 Years! And thanks. Just working out hard and regaining some of the size I lost after I broke my elbow. Still trying to stay lean so I'm keeping my body weight at 180 lbs.

  • looking big steve...

  • Jesus, is it 9/10 now! AAAGH!

*Feels good as he's drinking Green Tea atm lol*

  • you resemblence to steve carrel is mind blasting, especially your voice.

i'm listening to you, and if i close my eyes, i swear to god it sounds like i'm listening to michael scott from the office.

  • good vid

  • u cannot front on Steve...what he says works...period...but you have to apply yourself, stick to it, and put in the work

  • 5* as alway`s!.

  • Agreed!

  • Tough. Just saw your channel- you are 5* too!!!.

  • Thanks! :)

  • Tough. My pleasure ( subbed you-lol!!), done a great job on your physique, best wishes.

  • Cool, a new video!!! Love all of your posts, Steve. Your one of my favorite Subs.

  • Steve may be right, but here is a few words for you heavy lifters, EAT. I went on a colorie deficit diet while lifting heavy 3-5 days a week and it wrecked my body. Now I eat all the time, I eat very time I feel hungry. It works well for me, i'm dropping the fat and i'm gaining muscle.

I'm a vegetarian by the way.

    Peace

  • rip off

  • Fuck, I just checked out your channel. You're gonna have to lift some weights and run 5 miles at least 4 days week if you wanna get in shape. I lost 50 lbs using this technique.

  • Hey, I eat celery salads.

  • I love you Steve Turano

  • Great job and you are so very welcome. Keep up the good work!
