After a firmware update it works perfectly with Logic. Not so well with Reason (HUI protocol provides VERY limited access) where fortunately Automap with my other controller comes to rescue as they do not interfere with each other. Professional implementation clearly shows the perfect understanding of the underlying technology.

Come on every major vender I know has stopped all updates for Windows as Vista Sucks ASS just as Windows 7 or any windows. OLD BUGGY TOTALLY OUTDATED. AND DESIGNED FOR UBER SQUINTS WHO JUST WANT TO TWEAK THEIR SYSTEMS ALL DAY. NOT THE REAL WORLD WERE WE GET WORK DONE.

At this point I am very close to going to something like Smart AV Tango, but those idiots have pricing issues. This year we should see major change in this market and a lot of these guys made tons of mistakes launching their product either too expensive or no support for multiple platforms and DAW's.

well...the industry standard is logic or pro tools(for music anyways) logic bein mac only now and pro tools bein buggy on a pc. I'd say thats why this is Mac only

I have every DAW in both platforms, and logic is my favorite to compose, and protools is my best audio editor, and bias is my favorite for finishing up.
check it out one day... I hated Logic until a multiplatinum producer told me to try it, then he would talk to me about music.

I was very close to getting a Mackie Control Universal Pro, until I saw this. Sure, it only has four faders per bank, but that is small change compared to it's overall functionality and interface experience. This is, IMO, the future of DAW control. Can hardly for it to arrive!
The 4 fader deal is simply marketing so you WILL eventually go and buy an extender. They will claim it would have cost more. Yeah sure, another 200 quid. But thats a lot better than paying out 900 for an extender. Cynical marketing people treating people like cash cows. Well theres a recession. Ill buy one when the arse has fallen out of that market because theres always the new guy with his so called better product. In two years you will pick these up for a quarter of what they are now.
its so quick and easy, all i have to do is press 6 buttons to get a dynamics expander on a channel! *Cough

I heard from an insider at Euphonix that Apple is slipping them money to not release the already completed PC drivers.
All of the HIGH END Euphonix products are fully PC compatible, and always have been.
