Thank you so much for this and the tutorial. It sounds great and I'm about halfway through learning it now. The only problem is that a small part of what you did to make this sound great was the way you gently played the notes and they grew louder as you played them with more force, my piano plays at the same volume no matter how hard you slam the keys, but I'm learning it anyway!

@animelionking It is a good keyboard. But as always a real piano (not electric) is better becasue you can get the pedal effect. Although real pianos are expensive, hard to move, and harder to tune, it's always worth. so soncider that.

@animelionking I assure you the YDP-160 has a pedal. Maybe Data was referring to the "half-pedal" effect, which the YPD-160 is also capable of. Also, it's not really referred to as a keyboard but a digital piano.

@gbacani Oh does it have the half pedal effect? I was unaware of that, and I'm a little biased having been taught on a real piano and told keyboards and electric pianos were useless. I don't think that they are totally useless. but I find them hard to play on.

@DataTheAndroid1 yes it does have the half-pedal effect. it also has weighted keys so it really feels like a real piano. of course the real thing is the best, but it's convenient to have a digital piano because i can practice without bothering anyone since i can just plug in my headphones. it's close enough to a real piano as, let's say, Data is to being human :)

@animelionking mine's over a century old too, and we had it tuned. The guy said it was risky but we wanted it done. I prefer real pianos over electric anyday. but if you want an electric. go with the YPD-160.

@TheGameChannel321 Jorg1piano has a really good arrangement. they posted the link to the sheet music in the description. So if you can read sheet music try that, if not the video is filmed so you can watch carefully and copy the movement.

The difference is statues happier and the music keeps going higher cause that is the epic moment when mcgonagall brings the statues to life but courtyard is sad and slow and people are fighting and dying and hogwarts is being destroyed :(
