You are all old testament fools. We are created by society and we as a society get what we create. She has paid the price of our creation. What arrogance. And it is to the suedo christians in the USA tha we should place our prays. God help you all if on the one hand you shape and the other you disregard.
She didn't get her head blown off for venturing to the LaBianca couple's place, wasn't ambushed stepping through the LaBianca's doorway and cudgeled to death, wasn't overpowered during her attack on Mrs. LaBianca and slit from vagina to throat, wasn't separated from her gutpile by Manson, wasn't shot to death during her arrest, has never been executed, and doesn't worry about being executed. She is lucky; she's on a roll and really shouldn't ask for more.
Many people have the wrong idea about prison, it isn't to "hold you until you're no longer a threat", it's to hold you for your crimes, no matter who you grow up to be while there.
you never gave your victims the right to live to their lives as senior citizens at all..DIE Leslie hell you deserve torture in my eyes...suffer...there is no forgiveness for you either...
I understand that the victim's families think the debt should be unending. Pretty sure I'd feel the same in their place.
What I don't understand is, that if the continuing argument against parole is: "you showed no mercy, so you deserve no mercy", then what are these hearings other than a huge pile of burning money?
None of them should ever walk free. Are any of their victims able to ask for another chance at life. Rot in hell, Leslie and Patricia. You take responsibility for your actions, too little, too late.

I still watch this segment of LESLIE VAN HOUTEN over and over again... she was such a pretty girl.... I'm not talking about her crime or her incarceration... does anyone think that if she was still living now in 'society' without this... would she 'look' this BAD?? Leslie Van Houten is only late 50s in this clip - yes? My MOTHER is only 5 years old than LESLIE.... does prison do this to a woman? Or would LESLIE look this TERRIBLE if she was 'free' anyway?
well....where is the "correction" in the dept of corrections? the state and the labiancas have shown less mercy to leslie than she showed on that night. it's high time to get over it. justice is one thing, revenge another. revenge belongs to heavenly father. really, fuck the labiancas for their total arrogance and lack of mercy. read the book, leslie didn't kill anyone. just let her out. another victim of politics. the system sucks.
I agree that most of you need to research what you think you're talking about.
Also realize that she was so young when she was involved with the" Mason family"- none of you have done anything you regret??? You are morons and unsympathetic to a woman who has put in most of her life for a crime she was involved with such a long time ago under the influence and pressure of someone she was infatuated with.

Yeah, 19 is soooo young. Cry me a river. This is not about stealing sweets or a bicycle, it´s about an involvement in a murder plot, you know. I´m 100 % sure, that she´s going to stay in prison for the rest of her life and she deserves it. Period.

in a way she is the worst of them to me because hse had a better home life and was so mental she ran off to a hippie commune . she also wanted to go to the labianca home to help kill. she stabbed rosemary labianca a lot of times. she wanted to go do that. and having come from a life of opporunity that makes her more mentally evil and psycho to me.
YOUR GOING TO DIE IN PRISON YOU EVIL ROTTEN DRUG WHORE!!! I HOPE YOU DIE OF CANCER LIKE SUSAN ATKINS!!! SHE IS WAITING IN HELL FOR YOU!!! THE WORLD WILL CHEER WHEN WE HEAR YOU HAVE DIED!!!
You actually are misinformed. Do some more research. Susan atkins and Tex Watson killed Sharon Tate. Van houten wasn't even there. Van houten stabbed the already dead or very nearly dead body of Leno labianca the evening after the Tate murders, under orders from Tex Watson.
I have not been smoking anything. Van houten went to prison in 1969. It is now 2011. She has served 42 years so far. What I said was, some people who murdered people ten years after her (in 1979) were paroled ten years ago (in 2001) after serving 22 years. I simply don't share your beliefs, that's all. I believe a person should be paroled at some point, depending on the person as well as other factors such as continued risk, etc. You clearly come from a more punitive and retr
Wow I heard they went house to house and killed everyone because they were told to , reminds me of the Us troops who went house to house killed everyone and raped a 14 year old girl while her parents laid on the floor shot dead dead in Iraq , reminds me of Bush who got his followers to kill 1 million civilains , the friends of his felt they just had to do too ? they felt it was thier duty ? They felt happy and sang songs as they fired live rounds , I guess God going to fuck this bitch up and U
@PiercingFanatic94 " Let my baby live please! please!"said Shron as she cried. "I don't care about you or your baby, bitch!" said Van Houten to Sharon Tate before she stuck a knife in Sharon's abdomen. And you liberals want to let Van Houten out. Maybe, if something like that happened to you or a member of your family you wouldn't want to let Van Houten out! VanHouten deserves to rott in prison the rest of her life.
The only reason she is still in prison is because of the notoriety of the case. People who killed 10 years after her were paroled 10 years earlier. Many people. It is, from a legal standpoint, unfair and inconsistent. And anyone who thinks Leslie van Houten is a threat to society is a complete idiot. And anyone who thinks she should "rot in jail" has hate and mercilessness in their heart, which means they are no better than they judge her to be. Plain and simple.
@dmtsymphony She is no ordinary murderer, she is a mass premeditated murderer, she was gleeful during her trial. She was sentenced to death and is lucky that California granted a mass clemency to all people on death row in 1972.
Also, 10 years? what the hell have you been smoking? Manslaughter more than likely you could get out in 10, and 2nd degree one might be out in 10-15 depending on the circumstances. This was calculated, this was done with intent, this was done without any mercy.
this woman is the only one I think should be paroled before she dies. Susan Atkins died in jail, deservedly as she murdered a pregnant woman; Manson himself is aging fast and his mental state is only deteriorating so his death wouldn't be too far off. Leslie is the only one who I have seen in many docos and interviews that she has changed - put someone else behind bars, save California money.
Cut her lose shes not a danger to anyone anymore and is doing nothing but eating away tax money that California doesnt have. It wasnt her fault it was Mansons fault along with her parents.
@michiganstopcat I'm willing to let the state of California use my tax money to keep her incarcerated. The bitch should die in prison. If they let her out I hope she or somebody like her kills a memeber of your family.
People change. She was involved in something horrible, a very long time ago. She understands the gravity of what she did and I she's endeavored to make the most of her life, while in prison. She's repentent and I'd like to see a little more mercy in this world, generally. She made some awful decisions as a youngster - but why keep this individual incarcerated until she stops breathing? She's not a danger to anyone. Be the bigger person - show some mercy.
@kevinturvy Sell what story? Every thing she, and the rest of them, have said over the years in courts & interviews is already a substantial pice of public record. what's left to tell?
@MrBrownstone7285 she killed. she killed knowing full well why she went and what she did. She has been spared her life. To bad her victims did not get the same compassion people are advocating for her now. Can't have it both ways. She killed. People must be accountable. She killed people who did nothing to ever harm her. There is no two ways about it she commited cold blooded murder. "Life" in prison. Better then what she gave her victims.
she did the crime in person. let manson out he didnt do shit but took care of them and they put him on the spot and blamed him. lol he brain washed me, he drugged me. i dont care how messed up you r cutting and stabbing is not a game. and if you can walk you knew it was wrong
let her out. she's paid for her crime. not like she's a danger to the poublic now. if child murderers like tim buss can be let out of prison to kill again. then it's ludicrous to keep a woman who committed her crime when she was not in her right mind. and clearly isn't a threat to the public. but then this is exactly what we would expect from a dumbass american justice system.
I say Free Van !she has to live with what shes done everyday till the day she dies, it wont bring love ones back! shes old now, life will still be life in jail even if Van is set free! and dont gorget it was a cult doing (messing with the mind) and unless you have gone threw that ...it cant truly be understood
@Leeandray I agree, they should lock up those wipe arse parole officers they have no intention of letting her out. she is a different person now it is a joke.
this is all very sad, four young women locked up for, what looks like the rest of their lives, in one instance that was the case. but! if you do the crime you should do the time. the victims cant apply for parole, they are doing a death sentence. the murderers should do a life sentence.
No sympathy here. She's not taken responsibility for what she's done - particpated in multiple acts of murder or how unspeakable they were in their cruelty or her sickening courtroon behavior. Excuses, excuses - she's only sorry for the situation that she finds herself in.
What L.V.H. did was horrible. But. If not for the "Manson" tie- in, she would have been FREE 15+ years ago. IMO she 's sorry, yet baffled; I don't think she gets why people are STILL so outraged,, 40 years on. Yes, it's the murders-- but also the way she, Manson, & the others acted AFTER,: creating that circus act in court:, singing, giggling, carving "x"s in & shaving their heads to show unity w/ Manson. It 's the killings + the MOCKERY of the killings that people can't forget..
@1lricardo The nature of the crime is so awful. She and Manson family was planning on starting a race war and this happen during the 1960s when things was at racially awful.
This woman is longer a threat to society. She was completely fucked up on LSD at the time. I think 42 yrs in Jail is enough. She's had 42 yrs of therapy. 42 yrs drug free. She goes to NA meetings in prison, educated herself and counsels younger prisoners.I believe she won't be released because of the infimy of the crime and because she's forever associated with Manson. That psycho should never be released but I think she should. Maybe let her give something back to society on the outside.
@kfag101 42 years is life in its own. its costing the taxpayer a lot more keeping her in then releasing her. if she was a true cold blooded murderur whats stops her from killing her inmates?
@shweetguy uh tex and charlie and the others never killed in prison, cuz they would be executed and they want to get out. that is a silly argument. Plus at CIW it's like a finishing school for women
@kfag101 executed? IF they were going to be executed for anything it would of been for the killings of their victims, seeing as they wouldnt or will not be executed for that and the death penalty was abolished then the freedom to perform murder is there again, yet charlie isnt around to influence them any more. so is it still a silly argument now? this person has payed for her crime and to believe that she would continue her ways of evil is a costly joke to the tax payer.
@IllyBidol really? she has been a parasite all her life? do you know what a parasite is? something that lives off another organism. she is living off my taxes your taxes and your backward thinking family's taxes, maybe if she is released some retarded redneck will stop the drain of our taxes by putting her down once and for all. i dont think a parasite can educate itself and help others around it as it only thinks for itself, but i guess it takes one to know one right?
@IllyBidol unnerve me? jesus your religous cracks are something else, i dont care where she dies or when, i just dont want to be paying for her. by releasing her she has to fight for herself. there was me thinking im having a conversation with an itelligent person not some uneducated religous nobody.
So what? You can scream and shout and knock your head against the wall. But you do not have the power to change her status. That unnerves you, doesn´t it? Sooner or later this form of a social parasite will die in prison and the earth will be a better place. Amen.
@boscoesarmy so if a young person takes drugs and claims it was not their fault and now they are sorry? Ummm. No you can't have it both ways she killed knowing full well what she was doing. The drug argument is at best weak. Her victims did nothing to harm her and they are dead. Her life was spared. Drug free in prison is not that big of a deal. Many people take drugs and don't go on a killing spree. How is her freedom justice?
americans have no right to take life no matter what some one has done. any one that wants a life extinguished is a monster let be a criminal or a normal person. ALL the fuckers that wish it upon these women are too scared of actually doing it themselves.
It's funny how she plays the role as a senior...when in the past she had a big grin, and laughed about the slaughter of innocents. Sorry, life is over for you honey.
@444nice Really. Those 3 gals are Drama Queens (Atkins, the oh so sincere Born again, is gone though, and gone to a better place? LOL). They just never grew up. And that's the same for the rest of the Manson crew . End of story.
@dancebaby808 Gee, does that mean that her victims can be set free and have their life back? She was not playing a role it was real. Please understand that the LaBianca's did not see this as role playing they were killed. No. no. Parole was granted when California got rid of the death penalty. She was given a chance to live. Sadly her victims nevr got the compassion from their butchers that they are asking for now.
I just have a really hard time with people who exhibit self pity from prison. Gimme a fuckin break. Don't do the crime dumbass. I'm from Baltimore and have heard these stories from "the joint" my whole fucking life. My cousins, friends, etc...all say oh my, why me, I will never do it again, only to get out and do even worse.
All of these assholes were unrepentant and showed no remorse all through the trial and for some years after. When it started to sink in "Hey, we're really in prison and this is FOREVER", THAT'S when they suddenly became sorry for what they'd done.
Fuck her the evil cunt. Rot in jail you self pitying bitch and I hope there is a very warm place reserved for you in hell, you deserve to die in prison and I hope you do.
Granted at the time of the murders Manson and the three girls were callous, indifferent and disrespectful of the court, and made a mockery of the proceedings. The murders were valid for the death penalty; no doubt. They were given a chance at life and the three girls (forget manson) made some redeeming steps to get their act together. However they did get LIFE, thatt in itself is quite a relief! The remainder of them are so intitutionalized though. Life on the outside?! How could they do it?

wow look at leslie in this one- big difference from all the other parole hearings she has makeup on and her hair is tidy- has she just given up on her looks or maybe it was just a tactic?
I like this american circus where people get to scoff at the pathetic attempts of the convicted to get a slice of freedom. You are like fat frogs sitting on chairs assuming you're better than the rest. Occasionally bloating your fat necks and croaking an opinion or 2 in between fattening snacks. Perhaps if she did a little song and dance they could involve the public on premium telephone lines and raise some money to boot. What a load of bollocks.
@MickeyLove01 I am giving you a "thumbs up" sign because I agree. It's like "mold yourself into what we feel you should be/measure up" type crap. Talk about becoming a robot!!
@MickeyLove01 Are you talking about the news? This is an excerpt from the news.. It's called a parole hearing and the general public isn't allowed to to watch, it is for experts to see if she is fit to be released to society by a panel of psychologists and other experts. They have them in pretty much every other western country, not just the US.. So honestly what are you talking about?
@MickeyLove01 I hope that the majority of people are "better than" this candidate for parole. I don't know about you, but I'm not a murder (or, overweight for that matter). Your prejudice against Americans is astonishing, and your lack of concern over the possiblity of murderers being set free is most alarming.
@GothicHippie7 An impressive "summary" from you there. You have not taken into consideration many prominent factors with this case. Initially the age and vulnerability of the subject, not forgetting the ability of Manson to exploit such matters. The current and previous mental state of the subject. Mob rule sentencing and the high profile of victims. As for my so-called prejudice against americans, well you shouldn't take it to heart. Most americans don't have a clue about the real world.
@MickeyLove01 I've not forgotten the age or vulnerability of the subject for an instant. I do not, however, think that this person's background or Manson's persuasive abilities indicate that the subject should be granted parole. I've researched this case thoroughly and can only defend what I find to be the most reasonable point of view. As for Americans not having a clue about the "real world", I tend to think that true of most people, let alone Americans.
@MickeyLove01 Yes, sir, I am sitting on a chair and snacking on the occasional junk snippet of food and also post ing a comment or two on YouTube about many things - including gigantic assholes like Ms Van Houten.
It's called being a decent human being. I never killed anyone in my life and I never attacked anyone in my life and I did not ask others to harm people. I guess I've led a ho hum life as far as Hollywood is concerned.
But I have nothing to apologize to you or anyone else.
@MickeyLove01 Well, then, it's easy: Don't be posting fucking boring crap. Like when you dig up "extenuating circumstances" for the murders of Ms Van Houten. Yawn begets yawn.
@jumpforjoy6 And her crimes mean what to you? Are you another idiot who is "taking it upon themself" like a strive towards your perfect world of justice?
@MickeyLove01 A perfect world is impossible (did Charlie Manson convince you otherwise? LOL) However, i AM a supporter of violent murderers being kept behind bars, i am a supporter of life meaning life and i am a supporter of criminals paying for their crimes. I DO believe in justice being served. HOW is this a bad thing? Do you honestly believe she deserves her freedom? The labianca's never got a second chance - why should she? How can people like you defend them?
@jumpforjoy6 Oh no, it's pile of bricks syndrome interspersed with going off on a dumb american tangent again. Like the person in charge of the channel tunnel once said "how the hell do we get through?"
Yeah, this is bull**t. They should have put her to do death, WHEN it happened, but they did not. The woman has paid her penitence. She has done what was asked of her, she shows OBVIOUS remorse, now let the lady out. My uncle was a friend of the La Bianca's, but this system is supposed to have certain rules. Gang members kill other gang members and even innocent bystanders, all the time and get out in 5-10 years. I just don't think that this woman is a harm to society.
jesus christ just let them go already. what kind of threat do they pose these days? you seriously believe these old farts are going to just go out and kill more people with their fragile, weak bodies? they have a life sentence regardless, living with the guilt of what they did, and in addition, their reputation is certainly tainted for life. they will never have real jobs, real careers, their dreams are gone.
if they leave prison, they will have never really "left" prison.
@RoleModelsForDummies - Bravely spoken, Youtube keypad warrior. You are big on punishment because you are self-loathing. Spending your days on Youtube because...? Because you have no friends? Pfft!
From the heart ?? What heart Leslie ?? You didn't have one in 1969 ? Shove your apologies up your ass !! BTW, you look like hell. Ironicic, isn't it. You WILL and SHOULD die in prison like your buddy Susan. Who's singing and laughing now biotch .
why do they even bother to turn up for these hearings. the crimes were so high profile that no governor of california is going to be the one to grant parole. they should just tell them once and for all instead of playing this sick game every few years
I recommend you all to read Helter Skelter the book by Bugliosi following the entire trial. and then go back to these videos. It has been a long long time and those dead are gone but those still living still have a chance. If you check on the background of these girls, where they came from, how they grew up, what changes were happening in the 60s and how Manson got to them its not hard to believe how these extreme situations came to be. Someone was bound to take it too far.
This is all really just legal formality and the legal system knowing full well that the carrot (freedom) will always be kept out of reach, regardless of how reformed, educated or remorseful she is. If you think about it, this whole process is just an insult to the family of the murdered, belittling their endless existance of tragic loss with, "I'm sorry, can I go free now?" No cold blooded murderer, regardless of reform or level of remorse can live up to the open wounds of loss they inflicted.
They will NEVER be paroled these people are serial killers for christ sake. She was suppose to get death and was spared. But this killer should remain in jail. Why do they always bring up God thinking it will help her? Where was God when she was stabbing Rosemary 17 times? Also she always blames everything on Manson he wasn't even with her when she killed. Take responsablity for your own actions. She was very excited to go and kill that night she admitted it. Who's sorry now old hag?
She is lucky to have lived to have recieved therapy for being an unfeeling cold blooded killer. She made these people suffer the worst loss of all. How can she compare her suffering to their pain? How arrogant is that? She is quite happy to recall the horrific events leading up to the deaths of her victims even with a smile on her face to this day. She does really belong behind bars for the rest of her days.
For me, the biggest injustice isn't her trying for parole-since she is allowed too. The injustice is that she and fellow family members were sentenced to death, politics won out, they were commuted to life WITH the possiblity of parole-that was the mistake. Found guilty, sentenced to death-they should have gotten life with NO possibility of parole and we wouldn't have to waste time/money on these damn parole hearings
She aged horribly. I don't feel anything for her. But really, if she killed a poor person or a person of color, she would have been out of jail within ten years.
And Mrs LaBianca was hooded with her own pillow case, noosed with her own lamp cord, and stabbed with her own kitchen knife--all thanks to Van Houten who left the murder scene wearing clothing stolen from Mrs LaBianca's closet. What Van Houten did is what is keeping her in for Life.
@deep71483 They aimed for the 'rich piggy' remember, 'the beautiful people'. Im sure as they all were getting viciously knifed for being successful it would have made them feel better to know after they were dead their assailants would do more time because they the victims were not poor and black. How dare they!
V Houten did not age horribly, she just aged. Dont fool yourself, 95 percent of all people look like shit when they get old, so embrace it.
This woman is probably not a threat to anyone if she was let out.... but ... she deserves to die in prison in lu of what she did.. period... Hind site is 20/20
Amazingly, Sharon Tate's fetus was not hit by any of the knives being plunged into Sharon's body from all sides. The Coroner who performed the autopsy removed a perfectly formed dead fetus from Sharon's dead body. The baby probably lived 20 minutes until it too, expired. Ironic! Now Van Houten desperately pleads for her life!
She not only took away all of Sharon's tomorrows, but her baby's as well. If she were really "rehabilitated", she would stay where she is!
@TwoUselessLegs She was not at the "Tate" house. It seems that most people have no clue about the family or the crimes and the complexity of it all. Please do your research before you comment, or ask about it.
@godkingbeast - Oops! You're right. She only stabbed the La Biancas! ...and if you're to believe her, she only stabbed them "after" they were already dead. My goodness, by all means! Let's release her from prison! You sick, fuck.
@TwoUselessLegs It's not just her story but Tex and Patti testified to this in court and in interviews. I do not ever agree with murder, but I do believe in justice and a fair sentence. I feel she has done her time and justice has been served. Btw I do apologize if I offended you in any way.
@TwoUselessLegs - All that matters is that people like godkingbeast evidently forgive her and consider the sentence to be served. You silly willy. (Never mind that the crime had no effect on them.)
Seriously, it never fails to amaze me how these people get on here and are so arrogant as to feel it's their place to absolve these people of their crimes. Fuck these self-righteous cunts.
@TwoUselessLegs Oh ok.... why don't you find her a home in your neighborhood? Invite her over for coffee. Maybe you two can talk about how she stabbed Mrs LaBianca and strangled her with the lamp cord. Geez, you people are unbelievable. Suppose it was one of your family members, would she still seem rehabilitated to you and served enough time then ?
Convicted Murderers shouldn't be eligible for Parole because the crimes that they committed their victims will never recover from. I realize that Leslie Van Houten has made very productive use of her time in Prison & has done a lot of good for herself in Prison as well as for other Inmates but that doesn't make up for the innocent lost lives that she's responsible for. So she should continue to do good work but while she's in Prison not free on the outside.

I wish her well, and this video breaks my heart.

Yeah, 19 is soooo young. Cry me a river. This is not about stealing sweets or a bicycle, it´s about an involvement in a murder plot, you know. I´m 100 % sure, that she´s going to stay in prison for the rest of her life and she deserves it. Period.

You actually are misinformed. Do some more research. Susan atkins and Tex Watson killed Sharon Tate. Van houten wasn't even there. Van houten stabbed the already dead or very nearly dead body of Leno labianca the evening after the Tate murders, under orders from Tex Watson.

@TheRedneckAtheist

RImusclebear1 5 months ago
The only reason she is still in prison is because of the notoriety of the case. People who killed 10 years after her were paroled 10 years earlier. Many people. It is, from a legal standpoint, unfair and inconsistent. And anyone who thinks Leslie van Houten is a threat to society is a complete idiot. And anyone who thinks she should "rot in jail" has hate and mercilessness in their heart, which means they are no better than they judge her to be. Plain and simple.
dmtsymphony 5 months ago
@dmtsymphony She is no ordinary murderer, she is a mass premeditated murderer, she was gleeful during her trial. She was sentenced to death and is lucky that California granted a mass clemency to all people on death row in 1972.
Also, 10 years? what the hell have you been smoking? Manslaughter more than likely you could get out in 10, and 2nd degree one might be out in 10-15 depending on the circumstances. This was calculated, this was done with intent, this was done without any mercy.
TheRedneckAtheist 5 months ago
this woman is the only one I think should be paroled before she dies. Susan Atkins died in jail, deservedly as she murdered a pregnant woman; Manson himself is aging fast and his mental state is only deteriorating so his death wouldn't be too far off. Leslie is the only one who I have seen in many docos and interviews that she has changed - put someone else behind bars, save California money.
danslayerboi 6 months ago
Cut her lose shes not a danger to anyone anymore and is doing nothing but eating away tax money that California doesnt have. It wasnt her fault it was Mansons fault along with her parents.

@pk33617 Just a one to one interview, telling the same old tired story would still be sell-able.
Its been estimated that Manson himself could make in the region of 2-3 million dollars in his first year out of jail.

Yes, it's the murders-- but also the way she, Manson, & the others acted AFTER,: creating that circus act in court:, singing, giggling, carving "x"s in & shaving their heads to show unity w/ Manson. @boscoesarmy so if a young person takes drugs and claims it was not their fault and now they are sorry? Ummm. No you can't have it both ways she killed knowing full well what she was doing.

Your prejudice against Americans is astonishing, and your lack of concern over the possiblity of murderers being set free is most alarming.
GothicHippie7 8 months ago
@GothicHippie7 An impressive "summary" from you there. You have not taken into consideration many prominent factors with this case. Initially the age and vulnerability of the subject, not forgetting the ability of Manson to exploit such matters. The current and previous mental state of the subject. Mob rule sentencing and the high profile of victims. As for my so-called prejudice against americans, well you shouldn't take it to heart. Most americans don't have a clue about the real world.
MickeyLove01 8 months ago
@MickeyLove01 I've not forgotten the age or vulnerability of the subject for an instant. I do not, however, think that this person's background or Manson's persuasive abilities indicate that the subject should be granted parole. I've researched this case thoroughly and can only defend what I find to be the most reasonable point of view. As for Americans not having a clue about the "real world", I tend to think that true of most people, let alone Americans.

@deep71483:
Mrs LaBianca WAS a person of color--remember?

No parole board member want to be identified as the one who let a Manson murderer free.

@TwoUselessLegs Leslie wasn't even present at the Tate murders. She participated in the deaths of the Labiancas.

Btw I do apologize if I offended you in any way.
godkingbeast 1 year ago

@TwoUseLegs- Sorry, my comment was for godkingbeast

@brandi123ize - The young person who "stabbed" the
LaBiancas doesn't exist anymore. She's gone. Poof!
Your thirst for "justice" isn't justice at all. You're a punk
who has watched too many movies. This woman has
spent her life behind bars. She's old, weak, and repentant.
You put anybody in a box for this many years and it
doesn't look like "justice" anymore. Where is the wisdom
or the justice in this anymore?

Convicted Murderers shouldn't be eligible for Parole because the crimes that they committed their victims will never recover from. I realize that Leslie Van Houten has made very productive use of her time in Prison & has done a lot of good for herself in Prison as well as for other Inmates but that doesn't make up for the innocent lost lives that she's responsible for. So she should continue to do good work but while she's in Prison not free on the outside.
