The justice system should be police arrest criminals then put them through the court system. The city made a mistake of firing those five cops, they did what any citizen driver wouldv'e done. They persued the suspect and used cop procedures to stop the runaway victum without harming or further endangering other public pedestrian. If that's too difficult, then find a new job. If I went and beat on somebody while they were knocked out, I'd get a mandatory minimum sentence of something like 5 years in my state. I was watching a police chase on tv,where a big white guy tried to run over a policeman. The suspect drove thru a red light and hit another car. The suspect was not badly hurt,he tried to fight the laws when they came up on him. None of the policeman kicked or hit him,they wrestlered him down and put their knees to his head tosubdue him.

The city made a mistake of firing those five cops, they did what any citizen driver wouldv'e done. They persued the suspect and used cop procedures to stop the runaway victum without harming or further endangering other public pedestrian. I really don't know what the big deal is except that it was caught on camra when it shouldn't .

@vasefanua In my opinion, it's the officers duty to stay calm, apprehend, and detain the suspect. Then make a detailed report to be used in court. The cop isn't the judge and jury. If that's too difficult, then find a new job. If I went and beat on somebody while they were knocked out, I'd get a mandatory minimum sentence of something like 5 years in my state. No matter how justified I was. Those pigs should be in jail, and you should have a taste of being beaten while unconscious.

Usually I say fuck the police but I think a suspension is more in order than a firing. We don't need angry ex-cops on the streets. Thats just asking for more injustice. If they were suspended they'd think twice about losing their cool again. What they did in the video was wrong and unacceptable, but it was the deep bond of the officers that whipped them up in to the rage you see here. Emotions overcame them.
