Rush Limbaugh will start being "color blind" on the same day that he turns downs a second helping at the trough. The two minute hate is an excellent title for these clips.
Right on! Fuck Obama.Fuck Liberals they are the hate!!!They lie, they hate this country and freedom. They hate babies, and are pro-abortion but would defend the rights of a pediphile or terrorist over babies. There Liberal lies.
"O"=.. you all will be getting DAS BOOT ~ real Mcsoon!.......everyone we know with Businesses and Companies discusses the complete idiots and greenies that rule the LOON=E far left and all have been watching ~Sweet Potata Smile~ rambling on about his Manifestos and MADE UP STUFF and then call each other and LOL! This guy hasn't even read the Tax & SCAM, or the Medical Manifesto or The Police Report but CAN & WIIL = "Lie By Ommision" about any of them ad-naseum! Then places fake questioners! LOL!
Blah blah blah, that's all I hear when electrany starts talking, it's always the same, never anything new. You are the essence of what the right wing and republicans in general are all about. You have no new ideas just the same tired rhetoric and biggoted fearmongering. I think you and all like you should be ashamed, I mean after all yours was the party of Lincoln for Christ's sake! He would have nothing to do with you today.
LOL so the folks who turned Virginia blue and Voted Democrats in both Congress and Presidential, were kidnapped? So now that Obama is at the helms, all the over reach of power that GWB laid foundation for and the Imbalance of power GWB used over and over again, conservatives are now afraid Obama will use the SAME system that GWB used but on the opposite foot? WOW! america must be winning because republicans are criticizing Obama's power that dems warned of when Bush planted it!
"There is no terrorism. I actually fear the Homeland Security Department more than the terrorists right now."
Mmm, and I wonder if he was saying the same thing when George Bush enacted the patriot act a few years ago...
I'm not the biggest fan of Obama myself, but these Republicans are complete hypocrites. They're criticising Obama for thing which are basically a continuation of policies enacted by Bush. Now this would be all well and good if they'd only come out and criticise Bush as well
Conservatives complained that muslims were'nt vocal enough about condemming 9/11. Now conservatives won't condemn the racist fringe within their own party! What a bunch of freaks.
while racism is still pervasive, not everyone who hates obama hates him because of racism. in fact i would guess that most people who hate obama are not racists.
there are worse problems with conservative media and republicans to contend with, like their unholy alliance with religion and protectionism for all things wealthy.
it's also funny how most of the "big government" was created by bush. "big sis" is just the most recent appointee to an agency created as a direct result of 9-11.
You are correct to some extent. Many people are not inherently racist or bigot; however, certain usage of words, statements, in the context do have an implication that the utterance can be considered a racist view even though the messenger didn't have the intent in mind. Of course, cultural and social sensitivity do not help in quelling the misguided statements being spouted by number of pundits. Meanwhile, some of these people employ such colloquy with forethought to gain attention.
Who can listen to this junk? Who wants to be told that their country is garbage day in and day out? Man, conservitards are cowards, they fear everything. They talk a good game, but they're afraid of new ideas, different people, etc. Home of brave? I'm not sure.
Who is saying you can't criticize the president? No one. Oh, except for Beck, Rush, et al when Bush-Cheney is in power. Remember? It was unamerican, non-patriotic?
Wow, is it just me or does this crazy sickening rhetoric just seem to get a little more scary day after day? Where was this indignate outrage and seathing hatred when Bush dove this country over the cliff? Again, is it just me or is this a horribly sickening and way more twisted version of what the right did to Clinton? I fear the right has slit the neck of this country and is salivating at the chance to cut the heart out.
"two minutes hate" is a concept taken from the book 1984 in which both BIG BROTHER(FEAR) and Emmanuel Goldstien(Hope) were both instruments of the state used to control the polar nature of the citizenry.
two sides of the same coin.
The state also induced its own terrorist attacks against the people and blamed it on an imaginary group.
I think Rush, Weiner, and Beck have some kind of competition going on to see who is the dumbest person on the radio. I'll give this round to Savage for claiming that the government will arrest him for refusing to get a flu shot.
The sad thing is, they've got the highest ranked radio shows in the country. Rush alone has nearly 5% of the country listening to him on a weekly bases. Think about that, imagine if the whole state of Pennsylvania and then some, tuned into Rush every week. That's a lot of people consuming those lies and hatred.
I think Beck is projecting again with that Stockholm Syndrome theory. He fell in love with his conservative overlords and now the liberators are the bad guys.
Can you name one law in the past 40 years that Republicans have endorsed that would a) not provide minorities equal protection under the law or b) treat them any differently than whites? (which is essentially the same question, except that affirmative action is said to be consistent with our principle of equal protection, yet it does treat races differently.)
Um, I'm sorry... where's the "hate"?? Liberals love to throw out this word "hate". They use it to insinuate racism, xenophobia, homophobia, etc etc. And yet.... this video is just simply of conservative commentators saying bad things about big government. Some people may disagree with them, but how in the world is this hate speech?
First of all, they clearly cut the rest of his statement off very quickly. And how is "he started it" not a legitimate response? Liberals are the ones that always bring the subject of race into everything.
How dare I say such things about that contemptuous, lying, rich, ignorant, arrogant, racist, sexist, corporatist, fundamentalist, hatemongering asshole!
I must have some pretty big balls...oh shit, I do!
well he was mentioning how Rush had said "he started it". I believe its a pretty legitimate argument though. The liberals are the ones that always bring race into the political arena.
Look, I refuse to say anything bad about that pompous, egotistical, fat, hypocritical, disingenuous, idiotic, head up Bush's ass radio host. It's just not in my nature.
Now, if you please, I've gotta go to one of my socialist, liberal rallies. Tonight we're going to piss on pictures of Ronald Reagen and I don't want to be late. :)
He, she, they, or it started... what I'm on record as starting... and that's not MY projecting...
Re: Living Will counseling "It's right there in the bill." ... to mean, they're going to euthanize old people. The answers to that "logic": 1) Dead people don't vote. 2) Assisted suicide is illegal in 49 states. 3) Living Will counseling is on many (no idea how many) state's websites NOW.
the nazis are pushin more n more media whores to do there bidding do u know wat a puppet is? some 1 who opens there mouth an the words of there master fall out if u take the media bait you are showing exactly what the media think of you is right that you are to stupid to form ur own free thoughts you will prove the nazi's alan greene c span does own you they only feel safe as they think they can make the people turn on each other while they laugh @ u
rush limbaugh is"colour-blind" MY BACKSIDE!!! if obama's father was from, lets say, sweden for example, i am sure that this birthers thing would not even exist.
"he started it" - how? by being black?
how is america "falling in love with [it's] captors" if it elected obama for it's president, unless beck feels that the republicans are being held captive by the democratic party. remember back in october when many republicans jumped on the band-wagon , knowing that mccain was going to lose?
glenn beck is so moronically stupid. he has no idea what Stockholm syndrome is about. he saw it on wikipedia and failed at trying to make a metaphor for it.
all the haters of the USA work for FOX texas thinks its the only state in the USA the lone STAR state now u know whos owned by the klan & the jesuits child abusers the illumi NAZI pushin there MEDIA TV RADIO DIS INFO ON THE TRUE PEOPLE BECAUSE THE MEDIA THINKS YOU ARE SO STUPID U WONT SEE ITS ALL ABOUT BARAK WONT DO AS TOLD LAST MAN WHO HAD THE BALLS TO RID SOCIETY OF THESE CANCERS IN GOVT DIED J.F.K Y?? SO THE TEXA Co can have there stooge in DC
You know...all this fear propaganda and non stop bitching from the neocons was plan B 4 the election, this is planned propaganda n smear tactics, but the worst part is ppl belive this shit like it was gospel...politicians mayb liars but they're not stupid, they know how to play us
Oh Rush you're reverting back to childhood. Really, "HE STARTED IT" is not an argument.
Savage I think you're either a psychopath or narcissist. Also godwins law. Oh and it's just you, Savage. You're afraid, but everybody else that thinks you're a moron isn't afraid of Obama and why would they? You're just mentally ill. But not autistic, because that's a scam :P
Is the racism the right projected towards Muslims any different than the racism they now project on to Obama? I dont think so. I think it is a political ploy by the right with the most sinister of motivations.
Valid criticism against the president isn't racist. It's part and parcel of what democracy is.
Raising unfounded fears about the president not being American because he's an "outsider" (read he's black, he has an uncommon name for an American, etc, etc) is in fact racist. So is bringing race into issues where race has no relevance. Very different things.
Actually, Obama's political game plan as devised by his white campaign aide, David Axelrod is to deflect all criticism valid or not as racism. As the country realizes that Obama is just as bad as Bush and maybe worse, this game plan will fall apart. Obama's the one constantly injecting race into politics.
re: Axelrod: you'll have to substantiate that or it's just speculation. I could just as well make up a story about Bush using a vodoo curse to summon Nixon's spirit during his administration and pass it on as fact but that wouldn't make it true without corroboration.
Given the above your subsequent arguments lack foundation.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Obama is the one constantly injecting race. For example, Obama went along with the big mouth Professor Gates calling the cops out for acting stupidly. And then teaching America about racial profiling. But Obama (a black man) is now the number one law enforcement officer in the land. And his number two law enforcement officer (Eric Holder) is also black. Why hasn't Obama put an end to racial profiling?
Constantly? He made a single bonehead comment then went on the air and said he chose his words poorly. That's hardly constantly and he even apologized for it.
The rest of your comment makes no sense. Racial profiling is almost universally done against non whites so how does that substantiate your claim that Obama is in fact a racist against whites? Plus you're assuming that the executive can mandate something like that. I may be wrong but that violates the separation of powers doesn't it?
Additionally, the white cop has been taking classes for 10 years on how to avoid racial profiling. He was recently promoted by a black senior. No one in his police department believes that he acted out of line. Obama acts as if we're all simple-minded children; and he's going to sit us all down and sort out our playground scuffles, one by one. The man has no clue what he's doing as President of the United States. Who does he think he is? Oh.. right... Jesus
Basically, he said something he really shouldn't have said and he's essentially saving face with the whole beer thing. It's what politicians do. I do think that partly it's also motivated by a genuine regret for saying what he said in anger/frustration.
What he said goes toward the underlying problem here: that historically blacks have been stopped more frequently than whites by cops. That has changed to some extent but the stigma remains. It taints everything and and won't go away for a while.
And how will that cycle ever stop if we continue to falsely describe routine police actions as "racial profiling"? You keep crying wolf and eventually the townspeople, frankly, won't give a damn. That seems to already be happening. Rasmussen reports that only 30% of Americans believe Obama handled the Gates case correctly.
he really didn't in the sense that he should have kept his comments simple and non commital. it just really wasn't a very smart move.
re: racial profiling. Good question. I guess when it stops altogether - and to America's credit in most places this has died down quite a bit but it's only been a few decades since real strides have been made (Rodney King was in '91, remember). this kind of deep seated anger doesn't just dissipate overnight and to a certain extend the AA's paranoia is justified.
That was 18 years ago... it's time to stop harboring this deep resentment over ultra-exclusive events that happened nearly two decades ago... to one person of all things. Note: Rodney King was drunk, led the police on a high speed chase, going over 100 mph. He had a previous robbery charge. Years later, he was arrested for a hit and run, and then again for another DUI. He's not exactly the "victim" that we should be espousing here.
Nobody said he is. But that's like saying the scantily clad woman leaving the bar at 2 am deserves to get raped. Yes, she should have a little more sense but just because she chooses a particular attire does not mean she should get raped. nobody deserves that.
similarly just because the guy is an ass does not mean he deserves to get savagely beaten. The issue wasn't rodney king's innocence, the issue was the cop's reaction.
The Rodney King info was not getting to the core idea though. It's time to stop recalling bullshit that happened years ago, and to just move on. I honestly think that the only thing that still makes some white people prejudiced is a) the ongoing sense of entitlement so many blacks still have and b) I'm just going to say it... the absurd support and reaction towards an Obama presidency. I can speak for a lot of other whites here.. we're just ready to completely forget race altogether...
If it were an isolated incident I'd agree but statistics show that it's not the case: things haven't been that severe since by and large I think because of how insane the RK beatings were and the reaction over it but black people still get the rough end of it on average.
It's easy to say that it's time to move on to someone else but that dismisses how deeply things like this can affect people. How long did it take the USA to eradicate extreme racism? 2 - 3 generations right? It takes time.
Obama's political career is race based. He is worshiped by black people because of his skin color. Those afflicted by white guilt cut him enormous slack because of his skin color. And when Obama gets into political trouble, say, as when he's exposed as the mediocrity that he is, his next move is to create some racial controversy so as to direct attention from the mess he's making to a "teachable moment." Face it, Obama's performance is worse than Bush's, but to admit that would be racist.
1)Unless people are literally praying to Obama and see him as a deity that's incorrect. Admired? Yes, I think so but that's hardly a color thing: he's a person who from humble beginnings managed to not only go to one of the best schools in the world but also become president. That is certainly praise worthy.
2) If you think he's given leeway because of his skin color that actually makes YOU a racist.
There was a confrontation between a white policeman and a black citizen and the citizen was arrested and released. Why did Hussein Obama take from that it was time for a "teachable moment" and to lecture the country on racial profiling? Because he wanted to divert attention from his mediocre performance as President and the best way to do that was to create a racial controversy. He created the controversy by opening his mouth. Did he not open his mouth willingly?
he said it was a teachable moment because of what he said, how he reacted to the event and how everyone else reacted to his reaction. Teachable in this sense meant both that he should watch his words more carefully and that issues like these are touchy.
You're ASSUMING and have yet to PROVIDE ANY PROOF OF INTENT. he opened his mouth, he said something done. your argument is equivalent to:" Everytime bush was saying something dumb it was to distract us from what Cheney is doing".
Nobody stuck a gun to his head and made him go into his lecture on racial profiling. He did that freely on his own when prompted by the reporter. He could have refused to comment due to not having the full story. But Obama constantly stirs the pot of racial discontent. It deflects attention from the high deficits he's running, the high unemployment and bankruptcies he's causing and the Bush endless wars he's escalating. Face it. Obama's a worse disaster than even Bush.
He should have withheld comment but only because he shouldn't speak without knowing all the facts. That much is clear and I don't think anyone will argue that he handled this poorly.
What I, and I would assume most people would also argue, is that if you're going to say that he's doing it specifically to distract people from his so called "abysmal record" you have to substantiate it. IDK what country you live in but in the USA people are not tried on hearsay and speculation.
Obama was hired by the American people to fix problems left by Bush--the endless wars, the economic downturn specifically. He can't fix racial profiling unless he stops the cops from doing their jobs, so why is he even talking about it? He's talking about it because he knows it will generate controversy and get his base constituency to rally behind him and divert the country from the lousy job he's doing. Obama is willing to play with the fire of America's racial problems to save his own ass.
2) racial profiling helps police? data shows the contrary actually and from a legal basis that's a horrible thing to say. but he can't do anything about it as a matter of law. it's not within the executive's jurisdiction.
3) you're assuming that he orchestrated the whole thing. all we know is he was asked a question. was it actually planned? unless you can prove that without baseless speculation that's just inuendo. it's not a valid argument.
Police profile people for a living and race is part of that. They look at strangers and have to make quick decisions based on assumptions they make as they look at those strangers. Say, police are looking for a mugger. They see two persons--a young black man and an old Asian woman walking with a cane. Are they supposed to assume both persons are potentially the mugger and spend equal amounts of time investigating? No, they racially profile and spend their time on the young black man.
The reporter who asked the question is a long time Chicago woman with extensive contacts with Obama going way back. She tossed up a question for Obama that she knew he would take and give America one of the highly erudite Professor Obama's teachable moments where he operates above the fray and sanctimoniously pontificates on America's racial problems. Except that this time he slipped on his own banana peel and was exposed for the charlatan he is.
And she might have asked a question he didn't pre-approve. I really don't see how making himself look like an idiot for making such a poor choice of words is going to help him. If he wanted to climb up on a soapbox to talk about race and distract people from it then there are better ways to do this. Is it possible that he engineered the whole thing? Sure... call me skeptical if you want but I'm not buying it though. What you're saying just doesn't add up and there's still no evidence of it
What is certain is that every time Obama gets free of his teleprompter, he sounds like a rookie United States Senator. Which is what he would be if he hadn't been picked by the Democrats to run for President. He makes bonehead errors that a seasoned experienced President would never make. Obama obviously is unqualified to be President and his performace shows that.
Your argument is tautological: if he hadn't been elected president then he wouldn't be president.
it is also idiotic to suggest that after a 2 term president anyone running for the position would be an experienced president. by law this doesn't make sense.
now if you want someone perfect for president you're really out of luck. no such person exists and both candidates had their fair share of gaffes. welcome to the real world: people are flawed.
Bill Clinton had served 10 years as Arkansas Governor before he became President. He had learned how to run a state govt and how to deal with a state legislature. He had also been attorney general of the state. Obviously, he was much better prepared than Hussein Obama before he assumed the office.
yes, but he had no experience as President, specifically. Remember you said "He makes bonehead errors that a seasoned experienced President would never make." which is also tautological: he cannot be an experienced president within the first 6 months of his first term. At some point even Bill Clinton was an inexperienced president.
Obama had no executive experience before assuming the Presidency. He was an 8 year state legislator from Illinois and he had run for President. Neither offered him experience as an administrator in government. As a US Senator, Obama spent his time running for President. When the press asked Clinton a tough question, he paused for 15-30 seconds before answering. That's what experience teaches a politician. Obama, on the other hand, without teleprompter, puts his foot in his mouth.
eh, you're going in circles and sort of ignoring the point.
if you think that he puts his foot in his mouth all the time then you're entitled to that opinion. however I've got say from my personal experience you seem to be in the minority on that one. most of his responses have seemed to be sensible and well delivered. He goofed here but on balance he seems to be doing fine.
If you believe otherwise that's your call. Just remember that opinions are not fact.
You're right. He sat in his racist preacher's church listening to 20 years of Jeremiah Wright's hate speech and was able to convince the American people that he had never heard any of Wright's extreme racism. He's a lying con man of unusual abilities.
We are judged by the company we keep, yes, of course. If you sit in a racist congregation for 20 years and have your children baptized by a racist preacher and are married to your wife by a racist preacher, is it a huge stretch in your mind that you too are a racist?
You're wasting your time arguing with nuts like electango. They can't stand the fact a black man is running the country. Especially a black man that can speak without a teleprompter, and doesn't make the US look like an entire country made up of trailer courts and hillbillys. No matter what he does, he couldn't screw this country like GWB did.
Dubya served 6yrs as the Gov of TX Lt. Gov RUNS the state. John Edwards & Hillary 6yrs as Senators. Barack's first eight years spent in the Il. senate before serving two years in the U.S. Senate creating programs like the state Earned Income Tax Credit, in three years provided over $100 million in tax cuts to families.
Damn the devil and tell the truth. It does not diminish you to say something positive about an opponent.
Most American Presidents have been mediocrities. Bush was definitely a mediocrity and so far Hussein Obama is less effective than Dubya. The country will suffer until this Obama mediocrity is replaced by someone who can effectively govern. We need someone who can radically turn things around but in Obama's mind, having a person of color in the White House was what we've needed and now it's all good. Unemployment, foreclosures, predatory wars--mean nothing to him. His job is done.
he inherited all of those problems and I think he and the government have done what seemed right. I don't like the idea of massive bailouts but another depression is not a tantalizing prospect either. cost benefit right?
And you keep saying "constantly" but saying it won't make it true. If you want my opinion I think you're projecting your own insecurities about race hence why you think it. From here it seems like he's trying to heal not hinder.
The massive bailouts were Bush's idea and Obama took them and made them his own. Neither Bush nor Obama could let their Wall Street bosses pay for the mistakes they had made. Obama has no business talking about race in America. All his talk only makes things worse. He should be focusing only on getting people back to work. This is something a President could do. But since he's incompetent in that regard, he's stirring the pot of racial animosity in order to appear useful.
1) Or maybe, just maybe, the bailouts actually seemed like a reasonable course of action to inject some confidence into the system. Economists largely agree that letting the FIs fail would have been disastrous.
2) Incompetence? Did you expect immediate results? And even if there had been immediate results would you attributed it to BO? But you're right, POTUS has no business talking about race. Lincoln obviously didn't. Nor does a man who is uniquely positioned by birth, by election and by luck?
The bailouts are part of the Obama pro Wall Street pro Multinational corporation, anti Main Street economic policy. They didn't work under Bush and they won't work under Obama. The answer is for Obama to focus on jobs creation. He needs to postpone the focus on health care, racial profiling, and everything else until he gets America back to work. But have no fear. If he continues his incompetence, the American people will give him a Republican Congress in 2010 (to help him do a better job).
electango spewing his racialy charged nonsense again. i didnt think it was possible to be even stupider then the ignorant asses here but electango's ignorance never ceases to amaze and astound me. you have no thoughts of your own you just continualy parrot what these idiots say.
That's nice. Go ahead. Defend Obama's pro Wall Street, pro multinational corporation, anti Main Street domestic policy. And while you're at it, defend Obama's adoption of the Bush endless wars, anti civil liberties foreign policy. Let's hear it! And make yourself feel holier than thou by calling me a racist! Good one!!
You keep insisting that Obama called someone a racist, where is this quote? you wont tell me, you will say lame crap like " im not telling you, you need to find it yourself" then you will say something derogatory about my intelligence. i will translate that for everyone. " i am electrany and i am making up facts and lies, i will now show my lack of intelligence by insulting someone elses because i really have no facts to back up my bullshit and because i have an inferiority complex"
If Obama called anyone a racist, that would be like the pot calling the kettle black. Obama sat in the racist preacher Jeremiah Wright's pews listening to 20 years of racist rantings of his racist spiritual mentor. Anyone who takes what Obama says seriously on race issues is a fool. Obama uses race discussion to deflect the attention of the American people from his failure to get America back to work.
Seriously, regardless of your political leanings, do you really expect Obama to fix everything that went to shit the past 8 years within 6 months? How old are you, five?
I expect him to at least start turning things around, don't you? Instead he's making things worse. He made certain promises and I'm holding him to them. He promised, for example, that unemployment wouldn't go above 8% if his bailout plan was approved. Well, now unemployment is hitting double digits and they want a new Wall Street bailout. Something's wrong with this picture.
Except that Obama supports Goldman Sachs and Obama supports the Bush endless war foreign policy which includes routine violations of people's civil liberties. So, I'm not understanding exactly why you support Obama when you oppose Bush.
The public sector is way too big right now. It needs to be out of the automobile industry entirely and out of banking and insurance entirely also. Central planning failed miserably in China and Russia. Why does Obama want to impose it in America?
Not to belabor the point but you're not getting it. Your reading comprehension skills, or lack thereof, astound me.
Again, I invite you to revise your statements because you completely missed my point and turned this discussion into an inaccurate portrayal of how the government is actually run in America...
Yes, it didn't work in Russia but this government model is nowhere near that if you know anything about history.
IDK where you get your facts but I'd look elsewhere.
All of Obama's talk on racial issues amounts to hot air which contributes to higher carbon dioxide levels and hence to global warming. It accomplishes nothing for the American people. The only person who benefits is Obama himself. He is able to deflect legitimate criticism of his incompetence by calling it racism. But the unemployment, foreclosures and endless wars are wearing the American people's patience with Obama very thin. Obama needs less talk, more action.
I'll assumed you're being facetious regarding the hot air thing. So I'll skip that. Though i'll underscore that if you think that racial tensions are not a legitimate thing to discuss in America you're either blind or living in a bubble.
BTW valid criticism is constantly lobbed at the president, what are you on? And what's more there's plenty of criticism to make.
But you contribute nothing to the conversation. Ironically you're the one blowing out hot air making unfounded accusations.
Discussions of racial tensions in America accomplish virtually nothing. American media use talk of racial tensions to generate ratings and sell more advertising. But this hot air changes nothing. Obama's never ending discussions of racial problems in America helps him keep his base loyal to him and helps him take the spotlight off his poor performance in office. It changes nothing as far as racial problems, however. It's hot air that contributes to global warming.
Obama is the chief law enforcement officer in the land. He controls billions in funding for police departments across the nation. And he has done absolutely nothing to stop racial profiling. And even though he spoke out against racial profiling in the Gates controversy, he still has offered no plan to stop racial profiling. And his handling of the Gates controversy was so slipshod, he's now in a position where nobody will take him seriously when he speaks out against racial profiling.
It's up to individual police departments to do something about racial profiling. And when I voted for him, I was a white guy voting against the Conservatives who had been shamelessly ruining our country since Nixon, not because of any "white guilt".
Boloney. If racial profiling is the problem Obama says it is he has control over the federal budget and he has the bully pulpit. He began to confront the police at first when the Gates controversy broke and he was talking about racial profiling, but when it looked like it was not a popular move, he backtracked. So looks like Obama is not going to do anything about racial profiling except generate more hot air which contributes to global warming.
President Obama made an unfortunate statement and then retracted it the next day, but race was not in it. He used the word "Stupidly" He was commenting on behavior and not race. Don't lie on him, the truth without spin is enough.
Everybody has an opinion and once voiced believes it. Stop making your racial issues his, UNTIL you have had an opportunity to talk with him yourself.
Hussein Obama has no authority over police racial profiling. Those are state or local matters. Obama is a racially divisive politician because he tries to make people believe that anyone who opposes his policies or his actions are racists who oppose him not because they think his actions or policies are wrong but solely because he's African American. In the matter of Loud Mouth Gates, Obama went too far and was exposed for his racism. In the end, Gates helped expose Obama for what he is.
President Obama is not injecting race into politics...we are. President Obama is unaware of us as we argue amongst ourselves about black and white, republican and democrat. President Obama could care less what you say about him or what I believe about him.
We are getting worked up over nonsense and fighting each other. President Obama holds no blame here. This is all us. Assign responsiblity and blame where it belongs.
Obama's problem is lack of administrative experience and no understanding of history. Right now, Obama is preoccupied with immigration reform and health care reform and the economy and the war. He's got too many balls in the air. He needs to focus only on putting America back to work. Once the economy starts its recovery, everything else will fall into place. Because Obama doesn't understand this, he will be a one term President and in 2010, he will have a Republican Congress.
Your inability to admit that as a community organizer he had YEARS of administrative experience PLUS two years of running a successful presidential campaign.
President Obama is preoccupied with healthcare, because regardless of if you admit it or not, without healthcare reform small business can not grow. Private health insurers have business owners by the throat with their outrageous premiums. It is unsustainable. Healthcare costs must be contained to facilitate job creation
Americans nationwide are either unemployed, losing their homes to foreclosure, and/or deathly afraid of losing their homes and jobs. Obama's priority in the minds of most Americans should be jobs creation and on jobs creation, Hussein Obama appears completely clueless. Not a good sign for him or the Democratic Party. Health care costs rise during booms and busts. That's a constant. Irrelevant, in other words, to the present recession. Obama's cluelessness is prolonging the recession.
UHC and the public option makes it possible for small businesses and medium size companies to grow and HIRE MORE EMPLOYEES.
You can not have sustainable job growth without controlling exorbitant premiums charged by private healthcare industry. They are crippling this country and businesses that provide new employment opportunities for ALL AMERICANS.
Hussein Obama has bungled health care reform. He should have focused exclusively on putting America back to work and then with his popularity at Bill Clinton levels, he could then have focused on health care reform. But he tried to reform health care while his own political base was suffering the most from the economic crash. It's a total disaster. Obama needs to get back to the drawing board and focus completely on jobs creation as if his political career depended on it because it does.
BTW, a republican congress would serve the President well. The pussy democratic congress are too afraid of being voted out that they are going to have their fears realized for their inaction.
A republican congress will not be able to hide in a democratic congress. They will be seen for the party of no or they will help the President to do the people's business.
With a Republican Congress, Obama will have to move away from his radical leftist agenda. With his nose bloodied and his mammoth ego bruised, perhaps Hussein Obama will begin to focus on what he will need to have for his own reelection. That would be a record in office of jobs creation. This means he will have to work with the private sector which is the greatest engine of jobs creation in human history and he'll have to abandon his plans to create a Socialist America.
wow. I bet your dick is hard at believing the President is going to have to deal with a bloodied nose and bruised ego. Not going to happen. The President will be passing a UHC and Public Option bill within the next couple of months.
Socialist America: grow up. Think for yourself. Please. Controlling healthcare costs will be the best thing for small businesses and job creation.
Wrong. The President passes nothing. Congress will not pass UHC or the Public Option if too many in Congress are afraid of losing their seats. Right now, Obama's socialist agenda is turning off the American people big time. His failure to produce the jobs America needs means he will be facing a Republican Congress very soon and that kind of Congress will not give him a UHC or public option bill for him to sign. Because of Obama's weak leadership, there will be no UHC and no public option.
The private health insurance industry is not going to allow Hussein Obama and the other politicians it controls to put in a public option. Don't you understand this? Your mentality is that of a toddler. You think because YOU want the public option and because you worship Obama, you're going to get a public option. You fail to understand that Obama is a corrupt politician who has taken mountains of money (a.k.a. bribes) from huge insurance companies and they aren't having a public option.
President Obama's hands are clean. Lay that lie at someone else's feet, Sweetie.
President Obama will be passing a UHC bill this year. The Public Option is the only thing that is uncertain.
President Obama is not corrupt, but I can tell it comforts you to believe he is. You seem to want him as dirty as Bush and Cheney who really did skim billions of dollars from Americans and America and gave billions more to their friends. Halliburton is the healthiest company on earth and a monster.
Hussein Obama is totally corrupt. He's a product of the Chicago Daley political machine. His home district is Al Capone's home district. He rose to the top of that political toilet and then went national. Yes, Bush and Cheney were skimming billions and now Obama's the one doing the skimming. But some brainwashed disciples think Obama is clean. Pathetic.
What you should be worried about is Hussein Obama's support of the multi-billion dollar private insurance providers and their support of Hussein Obama. That is the elephant in the room nobody wants to talk about. And then there's the trial lawyers whose malpractice industry is part of what's driving the year to year spike in health care costs. Obama will do nothing to stop their bonanza. As long as UHC is caught up in the political corruption you fail to see, it's DOA.
Obama is clean. This is not some old white hair guy doing a deal in the backroom with his cronies divvying up the future of America and America's children.
Check your Chicago facts concerning Obama. CHECK YOUR FACTS AND NOT THE FACTS OF OTHERS. FOX HAS USED YOUR BRAIN ENOUGH IT IS TIME FOR YOU TO RECLAIM YOUR MIND.
President did come through Chicago politics, but like analysts have stated he did not hang around long enough to get tainted by the double dealing.
Obama's clean? Obama sat in the racist church of the racist Chicago preacher Jeremiah Wright for 20 years and apparently never heard one word of the racist rantings of Jeremiah Wright's racist sermons. So what is the story here? Well, either Obama is lying which contradicts the claim you're making that he's clean or he's brain dead (but clean). So which is it?
You've set up a lose lose situation. Bravo. You guys have been sitting in racist churches your entire lives and nary a word was said. Didn't you find it strange that there were no black members?
Here is John McCain with his religious leaders: Rod Parsley John McCain, John Hagee & MCain, Ted Haggard and ...Oh my goodness that one is with the male prostitute and many many years being just as racist as the rest.
Give it a rest I am tired of you for now. Have a good week.
Oh, so two wrongs do make a right! That's nice. And, of course, that means you are finally admitting Hussein Obama is not clean after all. What a shame!!
HA! I've been waiting for this moment. Two wrongs don't make a right. YOU EXPECT TO WRONG ME AND EXPECT ME TO TAKE THE HIGH ROAD. Screw that shit. No more turn the other cheek .
This is a new day and a new age. YOU PUSH ME...I WILL MOST CERTAINLY PUSH YOU BACK!

while racism is still pervasive, not everyone who hates obama hates him because of racism. in fact i would guess that most people who hate obama are not racists.
there are worse problems with conservative media and republicans to contend with, like their unholy alliance with religion and protectionism for all things wealthy.
it's also funny how most of the "big government" was created by bush.

Right. Any opposition to Obama is racist. In fact, Obama should be appointed President for Life and anybody objecting is a racist.
electango 2 years ago
Valid criticism against the president isn't racist. It's part and parcel of what democracy is.
Raising unfounded fears about the president not being American because he's an "outsider" (read he's black, he has an uncommon name for an American, etc, etc) is in fact racist. So is bringing race into issues where race has no relevance. Very different things.
OrbisFerrum 2 years ago
Actually, Obama's political game plan as devised by his white campaign aide, David Axelrod is to deflect all criticism valid or not as racism. As the country realizes that Obama is just as bad as Bush and maybe worse, this game plan will fall apart. Obama's the one constantly injecting race into politics.
electango 2 years ago
re: Axelrod: you'll have to substantiate that or it's just speculation. I could just as well make up a story about Bush using a vodoo curse to summon Nixon's spirit during his administration and pass it on as fact but that wouldn't make it true without corroboration.
Given the above your subsequent arguments lack foundation.
OrbisFerrum 2 years ago 3
This comment has received too many negative votes show
Obama is the one constantly injecting race. For example, Obama went along with the big mouth Professor Gates calling the cops out for acting stupidly. And then teaching America about racial profiling. But Obama (a black man) is now the number one law enforcement officer in the land. And his number two law enforcement officer (Eric Holder) is also black. Why hasn't Obama put an end to racial profiling?
electango 2 years ago
OrbisFerrum 2 years ago
Additionally, the white cop has been taking classes for 10 years on how to avoid racial profiling. He was recently promoted by a black senior. No one in his police department believes that he acted out of line. Obama acts as if we're all simple-minded children; and he's going to sit us all down and sort out our playground scuffles, one by one. The man has no clue what he's doing as President of the United States. Who does he think he is? Oh.. right... Jesus
kgj08 2 years ago
Basically, he said something he really shouldn't have said and he's essentially saving face with the whole beer thing. It's what politicians do. I do think that partly it's also motivated by a genuine regret for saying what he said in anger/frustration.
What he said goes toward the underlying problem here: that historically blacks have been stopped more frequently than whites by cops. That has changed to some extent but the stigma remains. It taints everything and and won't go away for a while.
OrbisFerrum 2 years ago
And how will that cycle ever stop if we continue to falsely describe routine police actions as "racial profiling"? You keep crying wolf and eventually the townspeople, frankly, won't give a damn. That seems to already be happening. Rasmussen reports that only 30% of Americans believe Obama handled the Gates case correctly.
kgj08 2 years ago
he really didn't in the sense that he should have kept his comments simple and non commital. it just really wasn't a very smart move.
re: racial profiling.
OrbisFerrum 2 years ago
That was 18 years ago... it's time to stop harboring this deep resentment over ultra-exclusive events that happened nearly two decades ago... to one person of all things. Note: Rodney King was drunk, led the police on a high speed chase, going over 100 mph. He had a previous robbery charge. Years later, he was arrested for a hit and run, and then again for another DUI. He's not exactly the "victim" that we should be espousing here.
kgj08 2 years ago
Nobody said he is. But that's like saying the scantily clad woman leaving the bar at 2 am deserves to get raped. Yes, she should have a little more sense but just because she chooses a particular attire does not mean she should get raped. nobody deserves that.
similarly just because the guy is an ass does not mean he deserves to get savagely beaten. The issue wasn't rodney king's innocence, the issue was the cop's reaction.
OrbisFerrum 2 years ago 2
beautifully said, orbis.
highway234 2 years ago
The Rodney King info was not getting to the core idea though. It's time to stop recalling bullshit that happened years ago, and to just move on. I honestly think that the only thing that still makes some white people prejudiced is a) the ongoing sense of entitlement so many blacks still have and b) I'm just going to say it... the absurd support and reaction towards an Obama presidency. I can speak for a lot of other whites here.. we're just ready to completely forget race altogether...
kgj08 2 years ago
If it were an isolated incident I'd agree but statistics show that it's not the case: things haven't been that severe since by and large I think because of how insane the RK beatings were and the reaction over it but black people still get the rough end of it on average.
It's easy to say that it's time to move on to someone else but that dismisses how deeply things like this can affect people. How long did it take the USA to eradicate extreme racism? 2 - 3 generations right? It takes time.
OrbisFerrum 2 years ago
Obama's political career is race based. He is worshiped by black people because of his skin color. Those afflicted by white guilt cut him enormous slack because of his skin color. And when Obama gets into political trouble, say, as when he's exposed as the mediocrity that he is, his next move is to create some racial controversy so as to direct attention from the mess he's making to a "teachable moment." Face it, Obama's performance is worse than Bush's, but to admit that would be racist.
electango 2 years ago
1)Unless people are literally praying to Obama and see him as a deity that's incorrect. Admired? Yes, I think so but that's hardly a color thing: he's a person who from humble beginnings managed to not only go to one of the best schools in the world but also become president. That is certainly praise worthy.
2) If you think he's given leeway because of his skin color that actually makes YOU a racist.
3) Prove he willingly did raise said controversy.
4) history is not your friend here.
OrbisFerrum 2 years ago
There was a confrontation between a white policeman and a black citizen and the citizen was arrested and released. Why did Hussein Obama take from that it was time for a "teachable moment" and to lecture the country on racial profiling? Because he wanted to divert attention from his mediocre performance as President and the best way to do that was to create a racial controversy. He created the controversy by opening his mouth. Did he not open his mouth willingly?
electango 2 years ago
he said it was a teachable moment because of what he said, how he reacted to the event and how everyone else reacted to his reaction.
OrbisFerrum 2 years ago
Nobody stuck a gun to his head and made him go into his lecture on racial profiling. He did that freely on his own when prompted by the reporter. He could have refused to comment due to not having the full story. But Obama constantly stirs the pot of racial discontent. It deflects attention from the high deficits he's running, the high unemployment and bankruptcies he's causing and the Bush endless wars he's escalating. Face it. Obama's a worse disaster than even Bush.
electango 2 years ago
He should have withheld comment but only because he shouldn't speak without knowing all the facts. That much is clear and I don't think anyone will argue that he handled this poorly.
What I, and I would assume most people would also argue, is that if you're going to say that he's doing it specifically to distract people from his so called "abysmal record" you have to substantiate it. IDK what country you live in but in the USA people are not tried on hearsay and speculation.
OrbisFerrum 2 years ago
Obama was hired by the American people to fix problems left by Bush--the endless wars, the economic downturn specifically. He can't fix racial profiling unless he stops the cops from doing their jobs, so why is he even talking about it? He's talking about it because he knows it will generate controversy and get his base constituency to rally behind him and divert the country from the lousy job he's doing. Obama is willing to play with the fire of America's racial problems to save his own ass.
electango 2 years ago
1) from bush to racial profiling? non sequitur
OrbisFerrum 2 years ago
Police profile people for a living and race is part of that. They look at strangers and have to make quick decisions based on assumptions they make as they look at those strangers. Say, police are looking for a mugger. They see two persons--a young black man and an old Asian woman walking with a cane. Are they supposed to assume both persons are potentially the mugger and spend equal amounts of time investigating? No, they racially profile and spend their time on the young black man.
electango 2 years ago
Misdirection: the old woman is unlikely to be a suspect because she doesn't have the mobility to mug someone.
You obviously don't understand how racial profiling is different from using common sense.
OrbisFerrum 2 years ago
The reporter who asked the question is a long time Chicago woman with extensive contacts with Obama going way back. She tossed up a question for Obama that she knew he would take and give America one of the highly erudite Professor Obama's teachable moments where he operates above the fray and sanctimoniously pontificates on America's racial problems. Except that this time he slipped on his own banana peel and was exposed for the charlatan he is.
electango 2 years ago
And she might have asked a question he didn't pre-approve. I really don't see how making himself look like an idiot for making such a poor choice of words is going to help him. If he wanted to climb up on a soapbox to talk about race and distract people from it then there are better ways to do this. Is it possible that he engineered the whole thing? Sure... call me skeptical if you want but I'm not buying it though. What you're saying just doesn't add up and there's still no evidence of it
OrbisFerrum 2 years ago
What is certain is that every time Obama gets free of his teleprompter, he sounds like a rookie United States Senator. Which is what he would be if he hadn't been picked by the Democrats to run for President. He makes bonehead errors that a seasoned experienced President would never make. Obama obviously is unqualified to be President and his performace shows that.
electango 2 years ago
Your argument is tautological: if he hadn't been elected president then he wouldn't be president.
it is also idiotic to suggest that after a 2 term president anyone running for the position would be an experienced president. by law this doesn't make sense.
now if you want someone perfect for president you're really out of luck. no such person exists and both candidates had their fair share of gaffes. welcome to the real world: people are flawed.
OrbisFerrum 2 years ago
Bill Clinton had served 10 years as Arkansas Governor before he became President. He had learned how to run a state govt and how to deal with a state legislature. He had also been attorney general of the state. Obviously, he was much better prepared than Hussein Obama before he assumed the office.
electango 2 years ago
yes, but he had no experience as President, specifically. Remember you said "He makes bonehead errors that a seasoned experienced President would never make." which is also tautological: he cannot be an experienced president within the first 6 months of his first term. At some point even Bill Clinton was an inexperienced president.
OrbisFerrum 2 years ago
Obama had no executive experience before assuming the Presidency. He was an 8 year state legislator from Illinois and he had run for President. Neither offered him experience as an administrator in government. As a US Senator, Obama spent his time running for President. When the press asked Clinton a tough question, he paused for 15-30 seconds before answering. That's what experience teaches a politician. Obama, on the other hand, without teleprompter, puts his foot in his mouth.
electango 2 years ago
eh, you're going in circles and sort of ignoring the point.
if you think that he puts his foot in his mouth all the time then you're entitled to that opinion. however I've got say from my personal experience you seem to be in the minority on that one. most of his responses have seemed to be sensible and well delivered. He goofed here but on balance he seems to be doing fine.
If you believe otherwise that's your call. Just remember that opinions are not fact.
OrbisFerrum 2 years ago
You're right. He sat in his racist preacher's church listening to 20 years of Jeremiah Wright's hate speech and was able to convince the American people that he had never heard any of Wright's extreme racism. He's a lying con man of unusual abilities.
electango 2 years ago
ah. I see, guilt by association then is it?
OrbisFerrum 2 years ago
We are judged by the company we keep, yes, of course. If you sit in a racist congregation for 20 years and have your children baptized by a racist preacher and are married to your wife by a racist preacher, is it a huge stretch in your mind that you too are a racist?
electango 2 years ago

It does not diminish you to say something positive about an opponent.
rannedwards 2 years ago
Most American Presidents have been mediocrities. Bush was definitely a mediocrity and so far Hussein Obama is less effective than Dubya. The country will suffer until this Obama mediocrity is replaced by someone who can effectively govern. We need someone who can radically turn things around but in Obama's mind, having a person of color in the White House was what we've needed and now it's all good. Unemployment, foreclosures, predatory wars--mean nothing to him. His job is done.
electango 2 years ago

re: high unemployment, deficits, bankruptcies.
he inherited all of those problems and I think he and the government have done what seemed right.
OrbisFerrum 2 years ago
The massive bailouts were Bush's idea and Obama took them and made them his own. Neither Bush nor Obama could let their Wall Street bosses pay for the mistakes they had made. Obama has no business talking about race in America. All his talk only makes things worse. He should be focusing only on getting people back to work. This is something a President could do. But since he's incompetent in that regard, he's stirring the pot of racial animosity in order to appear useful.
electango 2 years ago
1) Or maybe, just maybe, the bailouts actually seemed like a reasonable course of action to inject some confidence into the system. Economists largely agree that letting the FIs fail would have been disastrous.
2) Incompetence? Did you expect immediate results? And even if there had been immediate results would you attributed it to BO? But you're right, POTUS has no business talking about race. Lincoln obviously didn't. Nor does a man who is uniquely positioned by birth, by election and by luck?
OrbisFerrum 2 years ago
The bailouts are part of the Obama pro Wall Street pro Multinational corporation, anti Main Street economic policy. They didn't work under Bush and they won't work under Obama. The answer is for Obama to focus on jobs creation. He needs to postpone the focus on health care, racial profiling, and everything else until he gets America back to work. But have no fear. If he continues his incompetence, the American people will give him a Republican Congress in 2010 (to help him do a better job).

electango spewing his racialy charged nonsense again. i didnt think it was possible to be even stupider then the ignorant asses here but electango's ignorance never ceases to amaze and astound me. you have no thoughts of your own you just continualy parrot what these idiots say.
aquamadman 2 years ago
That's nice. Go ahead. Defend Obama's pro Wall Street, pro multinational corporation, anti Main Street domestic policy. And while you're at it, defend Obama's adoption of the Bush endless wars, anti civil liberties foreign policy. Let's hear it! And make yourself feel holier than thou by calling me a racist! Good one!!
electango 2 years ago
You keep insisting that Obama called someone a racist, where is this quote? you wont tell me, you will say lame crap like " im not telling you, you need to find it yourself" then you will say something derogatory about my intelligence. i will translate that for everyone. " i am electrany and i am making up facts and lies, i will now show my lack of intelligence by insulting someone elses because i really have no facts to back up my bullshit and because i have an inferiority complex"
aquamadman 2 years ago
If Obama called anyone a racist, that would be like the pot calling the kettle black. Obama sat in the racist preacher Jeremiah Wright's pews listening to 20 years of racist rantings of his racist spiritual mentor. Anyone who takes what Obama says seriously on race issues is a fool. Obama uses race discussion to deflect the attention of the American people from his failure to get America back to work.
electango 2 years ago
Seriously, regardless of your political leanings, do you really expect Obama to fix everything that went to shit the past 8 years within 6 months? How old are you, five?
rhabdoviridae 2 years ago
I expect him to at least start turning things around, don't you? Instead he's making things worse. He made certain promises and I'm holding him to them. He promised, for example, that unemployment wouldn't go above 8% if his bailout plan was approved. Well, now unemployment is hitting double digits and they want a new Wall Street bailout. Something's wrong with this picture.

Either you understand nothing of economics or you're basically arguing for expanding the public sector.
Do you want to revise your statements?
OrbisFerrum 2 years ago
The public sector is way too big right now. It needs to be out of the automobile industry entirely and out of banking and insurance entirely also. Central planning failed miserably in China and Russia. Why does Obama want to impose it in America?
electango 2 years ago
Not to belabor the point but you're not getting it. Your reading comprehension skills, or lack thereof, astound me.
Again, I invite you to revise your statements because you completely missed my point and turned this discussion into an inaccurate portrayal of how the government is actually run in America...
Yes, it didn't work in Russia but this government model is nowhere near that if you know anything about history.
IDK where you get your facts but I'd look elsewhere.
OrbisFerrum 2 years ago
All of Obama's talk on racial issues amounts to hot air which contributes to higher carbon dioxide levels and hence to global warming. It accomplishes nothing for the American people. The only person who benefits is Obama himself. He is able to deflect legitimate criticism of his incompetence by calling it racism. But the unemployment, foreclosures and endless wars are wearing the American people's patience with Obama very thin. Obama needs less talk, more action.
electango 2 years ago
I'll assumed you're being facetious regarding the hot air thing. So I'll skip that. Though i'll underscore that if you think that racial tensions are not a legitimate thing to discuss in America you're either blind or living in a bubble.
BTW valid criticism is constantly lobbed at the president, what are you on? And what's more there's plenty of criticism to make.
But you contribute nothing to the conversation. Ironically you're the one blowing out hot air making unfounded accusations.
OrbisFerrum 2 years ago
Discussions of racial tensions in America accomplish virtually nothing. American media use talk of racial tensions to generate ratings and sell more advertising. But this hot air changes nothing. Obama's never ending discussions of racial problems in America helps him keep his base loyal to him and helps him take the spotlight off his poor performance in office. It changes nothing as far as racial problems, however. It's hot air that contributes to global warming.
electango 2 years ago
so you want Obama (A bi-racial man) to stop cops from being racist? Being POTUS doesn't give a man magical powers.
DecayingGreyPlanets 2 years ago
Obama is the chief law enforcement officer in the land. He controls billions in funding for police departments across the nation. And he has done absolutely nothing to stop racial profiling. And even though he spoke out against racial profiling in the Gates controversy, he still has offered no plan to stop racial profiling. And his handling of the Gates controversy was so slipshod, he's now in a position where nobody will take him seriously when he speaks out against racial profiling.
electango 2 years ago
== Obama is the chief law enforcement
== officer in the land. He controls billions
== in funding for police departments
== across the nation. Read the Constitution. He doesn't have that kind of power.
Trekkerjon 2 years ago
It's up to individual police departments to do something about racial profiling. And when I voted for him, I was a white guy voting against the Conservatives who had been shamelessly ruining our country since Nixon, not because of any "white guilt".
Coelacanth1938 2 years ago
Boloney. If racial profiling is the problem Obama says it is he has control over the federal budget and he has the bully pulpit. He began to confront the police at first when the Gates controversy broke and he was talking about racial profiling, but when it looked like it was not a popular move, he backtracked. So looks like Obama is not going to do anything about racial profiling except generate more hot air which contributes to global warming.
electango 2 years ago
I don't think this guy is serious
DecayingGreyPlanets 2 years ago
President Obama made an unfortunate statement and then retracted it the next day, but race was not in it. He used the word "Stupidly" He was commenting on behavior and not race. Don't lie on him, the truth without spin is enough.
Everybody has an opinion and once voiced believes it. Stop making your racial issues his, UNTIL you have had an opportunity to talk with him yourself.
rannedwards 2 years ago
Hussein Obama has no authority over police racial profiling. Those are state or local matters. Obama is a racially divisive politician because he tries to make people believe that anyone who opposes his policies or his actions are racists who oppose him not because they think his actions or policies are wrong but solely because he's African American. In the matter of Loud Mouth Gates, Obama went too far and was exposed for his racism. In the end, Gates helped expose Obama for what he is.
electango 2 years ago
President Obama is not injecting race into politics...we are. President Obama is unaware of us as we argue amongst ourselves about black and white, republican and democrat. President Obama could care less what you say about him or what I believe about him.
We are getting worked up over nonsense and fighting each other. President Obama holds no blame here. This is all us. Assign responsiblity and blame where it belongs.
You guys are projecting.
rannedwards 2 years ago
Obama's problem is lack of administrative experience and no understanding of history. Right now, Obama is preoccupied with immigration reform and health care reform and the economy and the war. He's got too many balls in the air. He needs to focus only on putting America back to work. Once the economy starts its recovery, everything else will fall into place. Because Obama doesn't understand this, he will be a one term President and in 2010, he will have a Republican Congress.
electango 2 years ago
Your inability to admit that as a community organizer he had YEARS of administrative experience PLUS two years of running a successful presidential campaign.
President Obama is preoccupied with healthcare, because regardless of if you admit it or not, without healthcare reform small business can not grow. Private health insurers have business owners by the throat with their outrageous premiums. It is unsustainable. Healthcare costs must be contained to facilitate job creation
rannedwards 2 years ago
Americans nationwide are either unemployed, losing their homes to foreclosure, and/or deathly afraid of losing their homes and jobs. Obama's priority in the minds of most Americans should be jobs creation and on jobs creation, Hussein Obama appears completely clueless. Not a good sign for him or the Democratic Party. Health care costs rise during booms and busts. That's a constant. Irrelevant, in other words, to the present recession. Obama's cluelessness is prolonging the recession.
electango 2 years ago
The President IS WORKING ON JOBS CREATION. IDIOT!
FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
rannedwards 2 years ago
Hussein Obama has bungled health care reform. He should have focused exclusively on putting America back to work and then with his popularity at Bill Clinton levels, he could then have focused on health care reform. But he tried to reform health care while his own political base was suffering the most from the economic crash. It's a total disaster. Obama needs to get back to the drawing board and focus completely on jobs creation as if his political career depended on it because it does.
electango 2 years ago
BTW, a republican congress would serve the President well. The pussy democratic congress are too afraid of being voted out that they are going to have their fears realized for their inaction.
A republican congress will not be able to hide in a democratic congress. They will be seen for the party of no or they will help the President to do the people's business.
rannedwards 2 years ago
With a Republican Congress, Obama will have to move away from his radical leftist agenda. With his nose bloodied and his mammoth ego bruised, perhaps Hussein Obama will begin to focus on what he will need to have for his own reelection. That would be a record in office of jobs creation. This means he will have to work with the private sector which is the greatest engine of jobs creation in human history and he'll have to abandon his plans to create a Socialist America.
electango 2 years ago
wow. I bet your dick is hard at believing the President is going to have to deal with a bloodied nose and bruised ego. Not going to happen. The President will be passing a UHC and Public Option bill within the next couple of months.
Socialist America: grow up. Think for yourself. Please. Controlling healthcare costs will be the best thing for small businesses and job creation.
rannedwards 2 years ago
Because of Obama's weak leadership, there will be no UHC and no public option.
electango 2 years ago
The President will pass congress with the support of Congress and the Senate. The public option is what is in question.
Get use to it.
rannedwards 2 years ago
The private health insurance industry is not going to allow Hussein Obama and the other politicians it controls to put in a public option. Don't you understand this? Your mentality is that of a toddler. You think because YOU want the public option and because you worship Obama, you're going to get a public option. You fail to understand that Obama is a corrupt politician who has taken mountains of money (a.k.a. bribes) from huge insurance companies and they aren't having a public option.
electango 2 years ago
President Obama's hands are clean. Lay that lie at someone else's feet, Sweetie.
President Obama will be passing a UHC bill this year. The Public Option is the only thing that is uncertain.
President Obama is not corrupt, but I can tell it comforts you to believe he is. You seem to want him as dirty as Bush and Cheney who really did skim billions of dollars from Americans and America and gave billions more to their friends. Halliburton is the healthiest company on earth and a monster.
rannedwards 2 years ago
Hussein Obama is totally corrupt. He's a product of the Chicago Daley political machine. His home district is Al Capone's home district. He rose to the top of that political toilet and then went national. Yes, Bush and Cheney were skimming billions and now Obama's the one doing the skimming. But some brainwashed disciples think Obama is clean. Pathetic.

You are very clear in your support of the multi-billion dollar private insurance providers and for that I pity you.
