  • Pretty good solo playing man, don't get the 16 bastards that disliked this video..

  • You're cool guy, but it's too fast. I think it should sound more melodiously.

  • @acousticaptitude A tubecreamer... looks like a Maxon OD-808 ?

  • I am so impressed by this and no backing track...actually i can hear the rest of the Band while you are playing that's how good your timing and phrasing is:-)

  • puta timbre!

    AWESOME MAN!

  • Who would give this less than 5 stars?

  • ~Awesome work....love your sound....~~

  • you got the feel of music. lots of people say that fdser has a lot of feel for music but you can tell he fakes it. beautiful work.

  • Comment removed

  • Dude your on point

  • You got the jimmy page (and blues) feel alot better than alot of imitators here on youtube!

    Keep it up!

  • Beautiful tone..~~

  • very nice tonality

  • this is beautifull man

    briliant sound

    playings so smooth

    love it

    truly inspriring

    what amp is that?

  • That's a Peavey Classic 30

  • Yep! I found also that this amp is great for Jimmy Page tones.

  • Yes, inspiring!

  • What kind of picking you use when playing those fast blues scales

  • sounds sweet bro

  • hey! sounds sweet

  • Man That was great Is that a 59 paul?

  • Of course not ... they're like 350,000U$, this is probably a R9, a R0 or a R8

  • thats what i meant a 59 vos or reissue but i think this one is a plain standard honeyburst... love that tone you get in an old house with a big room though

  • I just got this amp last Wednesday. It's fantastic. The loudest I ever got it was up to around 5. It shook everything in my room. Haha, I can only imagine what it felt like to play it on 12, like in your other video.

  • Friend! why you do not use background tracks to play? It is more beautiful and more real.

  • No no NO! For gods sake, no backing. Clean and straight.

  • No words. I love Zepp.from Brasil

  • that's one of my favourite songs, well done.I have an old Classic 50 212-BT and a new Windsor Studio combo, both great.

  • Great sounds. What pups are in the Paul?

  • Those are Wolfetone Dr. Vintage pickups, but he now has Skatterbranes installed.

  • You sure made that one sound good!!!

  • PAGE!

  • tone, my word, and nice runs!!!!

  • Marty - I have the same Peavey Classic 30 and a beautiful Gibson VOS '57 Goldtop. However, you get some nice sharp tones from the amp and mine sounds like a big fat box. :O(

Any suggestions? I changed the valves to Marshall higher gain ones and that helped a bit. Could it be the stock speaker?

    Great playing as always!

  • A lot of that is in the way you play. Page actually used both pups on this tune. The neck pup turned all the way up and the bridge pup's volume up but the tone backed off a little. =)

  • LOL, YOU GOT SOME LED SKILLS GOING ON..

  • this sounds really great. but it looks like your hair is backwards on your head

  • LMFAO! IT'S TURE!

  • A real treat! Thanks.

  • *Madison Square Garden :)

  • Brilliant!!! You have certainly have mastered that art known as phrasing. Sounds just like Earl's Court

  • that was freakin amazing

  • ...and you need to go back to second grade to learn how to spell! Talk about butchering the king's english!

  • i can tell it's good. i got goose flesh

  • BRAVO

  • The guitar starts soft then gets driven and your guitar did not. I would say dump the pedal, set the gain all the way up on the amp and adjust your volume on the guitar when needed.

  • pretty good clean sound,i planning to buy a same amp, it's real good to clean?

  • Brilliant clean tone...I'm endorsed by Peavey and rarely ever go with anything else. I took my Classic 50/410 all over the place, dropped it, knocked it over (Never on purpose of course), and it has always cranked up and sounded amazing.

  • DUDE i LOVE THIS!!!!

  • i like how you only hear the guitar and not a backing track it shows your true talent great job mate

  • shit, If i wasn't looking i woulda thought JP was playing it.

    amazing

  • When you played this, was it on the Clean channel or OD?

  • virtuoso playing with great sensitivity...

  • i can´t see your face :)

  • JP must of got an haircut lol

  • nice job now i just got to learn it lol

  • Excellent!

  • I could picture in my mind the song being played from the movie ) Bravo!

  • Can you please send me the tab for this... I noticed your playing the Song Remains the Same version. Good stuff.

  • you're AWESOME at what you are doing, this is true music, this is true genuine, true beatuy.

  • What a treat for any tone-ephyle!!! Great talent to go with the perfect combo!! You go boy..........

  • Beautiful tone, man!!! :)

  • Is that a peavey amp?

  • yes.. it's a classic 30

  • wait anyone know where i can get a tab of the ownage at 2:00-2:20ish. pleasseeee. :D i cant figure it out.

  • respekt.

  • man you can so well reproduce Jimmy Page and Eric Clapton's style and licks, compliments!!!

what's that green effect on the floor?

  • Tubescreamer, most likely

  • you must be related to jimmy page because that kicks ass!

  • it s a les paul st with bursbucker pro?

  • its a gibson les paul standard, with wolfetone Dr. Vintage pickups.

  • dude! id have 2 say ur rather good lol

  • richiev1982 it's a Gibson

  • i'm thinking about getting an iced tea standard 60's neck. i looked at the 58 reissue and didn't like it anywhere near as much. great playing man. sick tone. is that a byoc tube screamer. what else do you use man. thanks for sharing.

  • good job dude!!! it's a gibson or epiphone??

  • I just got my les paul in "iced tea". It is beautiful and sounds awesome.

  • You sound fantastic!!! 5 stars +

What is the green box on the floor?

Get a record deal going, you can do it!!!!

    Thx, -Keith

  • What is the color on that les paul. Is it a honey burst? I love it. And your tone is a replica of Jimmy Page's. I am saving up for a standard right now. I have over 1600 in the bank. I should have the guitar sometime right after Halloween. But I am very worried about the sound being different from the new wieght relieved les pauls. Is that one "swiss cheesed" or wieght relieved in any way. I want that tone on my les paul!

  • Hi, Yeah its a honey burst.

Mines a 2005 standard so its got the swiss cheese style weight relieving. I have heard the new chambering actually sounds fantastic, even from people owning real bursts, however I think the fact that its chambered is a big let down because a LP should be solid body. My guitar actually has this really nice reverb like acoustic ring to it, which might be from the weight relieve holes.

  • i think the Delta Blues sounds more like a VOX. it come in 2x10 and 1x15. they sound quite different. the 2x10 is more vox then the smoother 1x15. dam, i love peter green.

  • WOOPS, that Led Zepplin your playen, Dam I love Led Zepplin. I really enjoy your playing. Playing the way u do without backing is impressive.

  • These peavey classics have some good creamy tone. How much gain can this thing produce?

  • I had the classic 50 head and the discontinued classic 20 1x10 combo. They can go from clean to guns n roses level of distortion. I am suprised peavey gets a bad rap. In MY personal oppinion, peaveys classic series is the closest you can get to that 60's/70's really midrangey classic rock n roll tone in a modern amp.

  • Most definitely. Peavey's Classic series are WAY underrated. I've been selling them for the last 11 years, and so I can speak to the fact that they're extremely reliable amps. The deal of the century is picking up a Classic 100 head. I see 'em for $250 here and there. My buddy has one and it sounds amazing. Great playing, by the way!

  • god that was awesome- loved every bit of it

I'm getting myself a classic 50 soon... I hope... so long as the guy doesn't sell it. :)

  • Great tone and great playing. I actually went out and bought a used Delta Blues as a result of watching your videos. Couldn't find a decent Classic 30 and found that the Delta Blues was pretty much the same thing but with a 15" speaker. I love it. Let's hear some more blues!!

  • Thanks and congrats. I heard the delta blues was the same circuit as a classic 30 but with 15" speaker and added tremolo. Sounds like a sweet amp.

  • Hey, very nice playing and yes, that's THE Jimmy Page tone. This should have many more views!

  • your carpet looks nice..

  • Nice............

  • The screamer is not on on this video, its just the distortion on the amp. Sorry I can't remember the settings on the amp.
