  • Ahh, Good memories, I PLAYED FOOTBALL IN THIS SHIT

  • does anyone notice the figure in the dust at 1:55? What the heck is that?

  • He said. Sobhan Allah and Praise be to Allah and God is great.

I said. Thank You Jesus for saving me.

  • Been there, done that, for many years. It fills up your house, I've had it lay in waves in my living room floor. And it has its own dirty smell.

  • Congratulations! What a marvelous catch! Sharing, liking, and saving to favorites. Have a fabulous 15 min. of fame...

  • This is more results by reason of God curse to Texas the home of the Pawn of Satan George W Bush, the Texas curse have been Magnified & Compounded

  • where was this video taken?

  • SomeFineFella, I'm laughing reading these comments and looking at your never-empty coke cup by your computer. Jakob recognized your voice from the video. Cheers from Oregon State--go Beavers! (and maybe a better season next year...)

  • SomeFineFella, this happened in Lubbock, and Lubbock is in West Texas. North Texas is the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and north of that area. Lubbock is at the base of the Panhandle, but it is not considered to be in the Panhandle, but rather in West Texas. I don't think you should be calling people idiots, especailly when you are the one who is incorrect.

  • @nancy2445 If you want to reply to someone, hit reply, so that they actually read it.

  • @nancy2445 Also...because when you reply to what someone says...but you don't actually "reply" to them directly, you make huge errors like you just did...which is that SomeFineFella did not say it was North West Texas anyway. He said "West Texas".

  • @nancy2445 You are right Nancy, Lubbock is in West Texas! (I should know, I live here!)

  • In the UK we don't get sand storms. Is it possible to walk through them or does the dust make it impossible to see and breathe?

  • @ICR68 Oh ya, it's possible to walk through it, it's really no big deal, but the longer you stay out in it the dirtier you get. It gets in your mouth, ears, eyes, nose etc, so no one is really interested in spending much time in it. It wouldn't be too smart to carry around something sensitive like a camera or phone it though. type: "dust storm aftermath" into google images and look around a bit.

  • @Raxarax Thanks for the insight, Raxarax. From your description it must be like walking along a sandy beach on a very windy day! We don't get dust storms in the UK so I find any descriptions, such as yours, very interesting indeed. Thank you for replying and have a great day.

  • Hello - Please check your messages. A TV show is interested in your clip. Please contact me as soon as possible. Thanks!

  • All but the children deserve to breath in all those toxins from that land they've poisoned and laid bare for generations. That's why it's in the air, in their eyes and ears and teeth and throats. It happens every Spring in Lubbock. On a lucky day you'll get to see it rain little mud balls. The drought must have contributed to this Fall storm but it's of their own doing out there. It seems to make them narrow minded and grumpy too! That might just be the poisons in the wind though. Good luck.

  • This is why I love Lubbock. We can be covered in sand one day and the next day is pristine and beautiful. It takes a lot of sand to make a pearl. I love my town!

  • sweet video man, it's like we went from earth to mars in seconds. lol :)

  • we're still digging the motorcycle outta the dirt :)

  • @whitedamnright The great country of West Texas.

  • @SomeFineFella north west texas idiot

  • @MegaSousaphone I'm sticking with West Texas.

  • @MegaSousaphone It's still considered West Texas....idiot. And you're a complete moron for attempting to come here and call someone out for such a stupid ass thing. STFU.

  • @PhrynosomaTexas go to hell u idiot i bet u cant even get pie

  • @MegaSousaphone Um, no...you fuck off moron. I'll bet you aren't even a Texas native, which in that case, shut the fuck up because you aren't entitled to say what is north west and what is west. Your a fucking moron for trying to point out some trivial geography and call someone else idiot about it anyway. What are you, 12 years old or something?

  • @PhrynosomaTexas i am and how in the blue hell uk im from south texas u idiot

  • @MegaSousaphone "i am and how in the blue hell uk im from south texas u idiot"

What? "how in the blue hell uk"? What the fuck is that supposed to mean, moron? English mother fucker. And have some respect for yourself. Use some punctuation, particularly the word "I"...if you can't do that, then don't bother trying to give others a geography lesson, asshole. It's WEST TEXAS

  • @MegaSousaphone you sir are a moron

  • I'm still cleaning it off my truck

  • i wonder how much the temperature fluctuated from before and during the storm

  • were you in the Architecture Building?

  • I've lived here in Lubbock a long long time and I don't remember being in a dust storm this bad it was amazing.

  • i wass scaredd lol

  • Dont drive in that.

  • In my native language "Lubbock" means Willie Nelson has blood-shot eyes

  • Clearly caused by a lack of prayer

  • Reason #1045 of why not to live in a desert shit hole.

  • I was in the dorm at 0:55 losing my virginity during this time.

  • Reminds me of Total Recall.

  • 1:49 OH GOD THE DUST MONSTER!

  • There's God, answering Rick Perry's prayers for rain.

  • Very dry conditions coupled with the first fast-moving cold front of the coming winter. Happens all the time. Where's all the tumbleweeds?

  • at 2:40 it looked as if you were peering into hell through your window.

very interesting isn't it, we had one in arizona some time ago.

  • looks worst than the arizona one, I cant image being caught in one of those... Extreme hazard for your health!

  • we had one in arizona and some people have died from the dust because they were exposed to it, they said something about the dust having some fungus. thats crazy as hell, symptoms of that are headaches, fevers and a few others. i hate fuckin dirty as dust storms.

  • @satansapussy there are two bad ones San joaquin fever, and histoplasmosis, coccidomycosis is from fungus spores around animal lots.. There is a sulpha drug called Sulmet, that will help if you get symptoms

  • I've never seen anything like this dust storm where I live in Michigan...never. I'm so glad I don't live in Texas after seeing this video. That can't be good on anyones lungs to breathe in all that dirt. What a mess.

  • I remember being about five years old and living in Dallas when I saw the sky in the west start looking kind of like that.. I asked my grandmother why it looked like that and she told me that West Texas was coming to pay a visit... She then filled the bathtub with water, threw blankets and sheets in it and then pulled one out at a time and gave me one end to hold as she wrung them out. She covered all of the windows and doors with them to keep the dust out That happened a lot in the early 50s.

  • CHECK OUT OUR (news report) during the same sandstorm in lubbock! just type in Breaking News Lubbock... or click our name! great video by the way! wish i knew it was coming

  • This happened to me when I lived in Hell Paso, Tx! I video'd it...don't know what happened to that video, I was standing outside when it came and ran like crazy! Glad I moved from that hell hole back to Central Texas!

  • At least it wasn't a smoke wall from a fire.

  • how do stuff like this happen

  • @Jesuslostprov31gurl Lots and lots of plowed cotton fields and no rain. A lot of farmers didn't plant this season because of the drought so it's just fields of loose dirt. Of course cotton plants dont hold down the soil even when it's planted so.....it's really the drought and north wind (season change) that caused this.

  • Our planet is hollow and there is an advanced civilization that lives within it. Humanity has yet to experience true freedom....but we are near

  • I live in Amarillo and it was frigging scary I mean seriously I still love texas

  • I heard a lot about this since I live in New Mexico! I've never seen them here (yet). It seems kind of scary and slightly creepy. :/

  • سبحان الله .. والحمدلله .. والله اكبر

  • @ahmedsaqr100 I was thinking exactly the same thing.

  • @SomeFineFella come on now i understood him, no need to be funny bout him postin somethin in arabic

  • @ahmedsaqr100 God has nothing to do with it - its nature you ASSHOLE! You and your little flock are praising mayhem - I have family in Texas - do YOU? You lost the war - give up your hatred you Nazi Arabs!

  • this is the 1st summer after the BP oil spill i hope this is not related to it.

  • There is a dark rectangular object early on at the left in the

viewing area. Later on at the right there appears a dark rectangular object.

Wonder if they appear the same when you zoom in.

On the zoom in, other than some light effect above and below, the solid object

looks like a Billy Meier saucer in a vertical attitude.

Such ships we call Tesla ship and not ET ships on any kind.

  • :O I got scared XD

  • Don't mean this in a bad way, but the yellow makes it look like Texas was peed on. Have you ever seen Andres Serrano's photos. They look nice until you find out how they were created. They photos still look nice, but a little gross.

  • I knew i should of recorded this yesterday

  • Creepy!

  • Holy Crud!

    This is scary!

It's like the dust bowl all over again, or worse

  • how long did this last did you all now it was coming

  • @gonny417 The worst of it lasted around 45 minutes or so. I didn't see it coming until about a minute or two before I took this video.

  • My living room has a sunroof and it went from broad daylight to pitch black when this hit. I thought it was pretty badass.

Then again I wasn't out in the middle of it it.

  • My Goodness! One of the biggest Ive seen in my short life!

We saw it form up here in Amarillo but LBK got the worst part!

  • I went to college at Tech in the 80's. Welcome to West Texas...I remember cleaning red dust out of my dorm room for weeks after a dust storm.

  • @sportswizard123 so this is normal? It reminds me of the Everglades burning in Miami in the late 80's, but there was no yellow in the smog.-lol

  • @ReporterWorldNews it isnt so normal but it has happened alot to me

  • Damn, just washed my f***ing car!

  • ok who was the jerk that released The Mummy yesterday?

  • @Jws61187 this sandstormhasnothing to do with the mummy turdbrain

  • This is why you don't put a school in a shithole location.

  • Thank goodness Lubbock is wet now--that would be a hell of a drive to the strip for beer.

  • I remember my grandparents talking about these storms in the dust bowl. Everyone please pray for rain/snow.

  • This is so shocking for someone who has never experienced a dust storm! Almost unbelievable~ But in the last days..... it is foretold.

  • @sbeesmarr A LITTLE DUST STORM IN TEXAS IS NOT A SIGN OF THE END OF THE WORLD YOU BOZO!

  • i live in dimmitt and it hit us but not as bad as im hearing about lubbock

  • Better call the maid! ;)

  • this dust probley has unknown organisms get people very sick

  • I'm sorry I started this Dust Storm , it happened when I Squealed my tires on my new Dodge Charger,, but man it was awsum !!

  • XD i was driving for this my buddy said aww fuck now you gotta go to the car wash again and everyone in my truck started laughing :D I wonder how many ppl in convertibles pressed the button and said come on come on and then the dust storm hit them and they said mother fucker just as their roof came up XD

  • My mother told me stories like this of the dust bowl in Oklahoma. She said that it was impossible to keep it out of your house and car and she had to wear a wet rag over her mouth just to breath. She had major catatrachs at an early age due to all the abrasion on her eyes.

  • We're not used to seeing the sky look like that up here in Chicago. If I saw that I would of thought it was the end of the world....

  • wicked video the best ive seen so far of this storm i had to drive from school at reese in this i almost hit a car on the way home the wind was making my car move

  • Your "that's a lot of dirt" comment made me crack up.

  • Thanks for the video, that is some kinda nasty! How long does that last?

  • I was stationed in Ft. Bliss TX 1970. We had several of those then, thought it was normal for there.

  • @Zalobar it's actually normal for this area to get blowing winds, but the last time that this area had a dust bowl that large was back in the 1930's. What you're seeing is an 8,000 ft tall wall cloud of dust. This area has been in a drought for sometime now and this is the result of that and the cold front moving in. I have lived here all my life and have NEVER seen anything this large amd dangerous.

  • what are does square in the sky like \/

  • @anderson411 never mind. .. is the glass XD lol

  • i was walking in this shit man!!!

  • @youwish182000 that suxs man lol!

  • Where were you when you took this vid? One of the tall dorms? It sucked to drive in this!

  • @trumpetgirl25 I would never drive a car in a sand storm, specially if you really love it. Just sucking the life right out of it lol

  • @trumpetgirl25 I am a professor in the business school. One of the other faculty members walked in my office and said "uh, have you looked out your window lately?"

  • @SomeFineFella It took me some time to recognize the location as the BA building :)

  • ah, i cant imagine walking in that! i'd wanna take a shower so bad!

  • did you just say rad??? lol. oh, first comment btw

  • @FlareneX The only reason I said it was "rad" is because it was, indeed, rad.

  • @SomeFineFella He who says rad, is.

  • eyes drops anyone?
