1992 Turbo Miata 1/8 mile drag run - June 2008

beautiful ride. how is the traction on streets n roads? I gotta 92 with the flyin miata turbo kit and racing beat suspension, its pretty stiff so i spin the wheels brake loose easily. I wanna find a good suspension that can be soft enough for weight transfer

@BigVick85RX7 Thanks man! In a straight line, the traction is non existent in 1st gear and some of 2nd gear. It gets pretty dicey in the turns, but the power comes on in a smooth, predictable fashion. Check out my newer videos and website for the new turbo setup details.

@turbomiragedude yea i will so that, what turbo and injectors and have you ran it in a 1/4 mile, if so what was your time

@BigVick85RX7 I've got all of those details up on my website including details on the old vs. new setup. There's no 1/4 mile track near here (bummer) but my 1/8 mile time works out to something in the 13.8 - 14.1 range. The slicks I used in this video were way too short and forced me a shift to 4th before the end of the 1/8th! I believe taller slicks would've got me into the mid 8s in the 1/8th.

I run a stock NA R package, the Bilstein sport kit Mazda offered is great. It may not be enough for you, though. I've heard good things about Eibach
