@leowyldemi More like chickens, but I had one guinea that I hand raised, she got all the attention from us humans, and she was truely more like a pet. Henryetta, as we liked to call her, was fine with us picking her up and holding her. After she was grown, she would walk right into our house and perch upon the chairs. Then, she paired off with a male, and the male would follow her into the house too. Pretty soon, he wasn't scared of us either. It depends on how guineas are raised, I suppose. :)
@86mustang07 Only the females make a "Buckwheat" sound. At 1:03 you can here a young quinea female make the "Buckwheat" call. Also, the female's wattle and top-notch is usually smaller than the males, but not always.
@AoiChan15 Thanks for the quik response...One of my friend try to sell me a couple but I didnt know if he was trying to ripe me off with 2 male ....hahaha
@86mustang07 Haha, well now you know the difference between the males and females. ;) If you have any other questions, I'd love to answer them for you if I can. I have a few videos of females buckwheating, if you need to refresh what they sound like. :)
@necrophilissimo Haha, when we had 25 guineas a few months ago, the adult males would run each other to death. (Not literally of course, but they just wouldn't stop running.) Back and forth, back and forth, like they were preparing to run a marathon. It's sooooo funny to watch. But yeah, they keets love to run too. :)

@86mustang07 The males have the more high pitched squawky noise, and the females have the "duckish" quack sound. :)
