I was there that match, standing behind that goal. It was a Dutch cup match several years ago between NEC Nijmegen and the Treffers. I also doubt if i would have been a goal. But it was seen as outside interference and the ref gave a free ball between two players of the teams. The defending team (Treffers) had 10 man on the line but the ball was kicked in the goal by a NEC player anyway. It ended 2-1 and the medics action did his team more harm then good.
