  • yes fahad, you said rightly, pakistan till 1970 was a forward looking, secular and rapidly developing nation. the cities were clean, the people were prosperous and happy and not only our film industry but we were far ahead of most asian countries in every other sphere of life.

  • I loved Pakistan, Pakistani culture, people, songs & films, till 1970 after that Pakistan and Pakistanis are changed very rapidly in very unpleasant way, everything destroyed. there's nothing left that we can be proud of. Unfortunately still they are not wakeup. I cannot say WHERE ARE THOSE GREAT WRITERS, MUSICIAN, SINGERS, ACTORS, DIRECTORS, and SKILL Workers simply there is no one left or they have no chance becouse they speaking different language than influential people.   • Bashir Ahmad was among very few Pakistani singers for whom one can say good singer.

    He was a very good singer like firdosi begum,shahnaz begum,zubeda,Ali bakhsh Zahoor and some other like them.

  • I was a school going boy when this movie DARSHAN was reliesed. I saw this movie this much that I remeber the Dialouges by heart. There was no Bangladesh on globe. The singer are Bashir Ahmed and Mala. Todays genration must watch this movie to know about the gloryious past

  • I saw this movie in Pakistan and at that time there was no Bangladesh, it was East Pakistan and Rahman was very much admired in both parts. As a matter of fact he was one of my favorites.

  • Just enjoy the beutiful lyrics, music and sceenery and forget whether it is Bangla or Urdu it is pure music and that it what is to be enjoyed.
