@jimmyxx3 this song I assume is in Russian, and the game takes place in many areas, as your character is sent from France (St Nazairre), to North Africa, to Stalingrad in Russia, where you hear this song, and finally to the Battle of the Bulge in Belgium. This game kicks ass, ive played through it at least 20 times and this song only perpetuates its pwnage!

Oh I'm with you. Stalin was a nutjob. 

But I feel that changing Stalingrad's name to Volgograd was a bad thing. Over a million men and women died to defend the city of STALINGRAD. That place has history. It was perhaps the most violent battle of the war, and maybe even in human history, in terms of casualties. It's a testament to the tenacity and strength of the Russian people. I really feel that it should, to this day, be called Stalingrad. But that's just my opinion.

We still respect what they did in WWII. They are the reason the Allies won WWII in Europe. We just made it end quicker. Americans are the reason we won in the Pacific. only for the first few weeks of the normandy landings was the western front even comparable to the sheer brutality and fierceness of the bitter eastern front.

but i think we all need to take in to consideration how it would of been to of been a german soldier in the middle of the russian winter with your summer uniform! not to mention fresh russian troops constantly attacking, with little or no food and none of you weapons will even work....

the thought is beyond anything i could ever imagine.

The United States wanted to make the Treaty of Versailles easier on the Germans, to make sure such an event as WWII wouldn't happen, exemplified be Wilson's 14 points. But, the British and French wanted retribution and only allowed the 14th point in the Treaty, the League of Nations, but because the treaty was so harsh and the United States was left out of the negotiating table, e didn't ratify the treaty, meaning we weren't part of the League of Nations along with Germany and the U.S.S.R.
