@The199PP Just go ol hard work. Black Iowa dirt and water. We used a skid loader to move the dirt, but he rest was all packed down by hand.

that looks like a nice track because it dark which means you can see your car better wihout the dust

@entrylevelaegs I know we watered the track before the mains and I think there were enough clouds to keep the track from drying out quickly.

The guy who ran off the track was upset because he realized after 1 lap that he didn't have a transponder in his truck so his laps weren't being counted. He and another guy sharing a personal transponder and he forgot to place it back into his truck before the race. I'm not sure if they would have hand counted his laps if he had stayed on the track.

thats a bit ridiculous though...he almost nailed that guy standing on the edge of the track...could have hurt someone. I understand his frustration after making the A main and forgetting something like that but to almost hit someone is a bit much.
