  • 2 ord. Dålig rumpa!

  • Cool. Great Work!

  • how do you guys get such Clear imagery

  • For me, MMSSTV just stopped going at 0:33. Too much background noise. But, hey, this is amateur radio here. Always gonna be some static, right?

  • sstv transmits picture not video

  • I was decoding this as I watched

  • is there a way to convert a picture into a sstv sound file?

  • I forgot I had MMSSTV running in the background and when I closed my browser I had the image. Love this techology.

  • @pointblancstudio

it really is interesting isnt it =) =P

  • @pointblancstudio same =)

  • According to the Qwiki site they used SSTV during Apollo 11 and then re-assembled each frame for broadcast sometime later? The landings would have taken place hours before if that were the case. Can anyone confirm that this was the case?

  • @davemckiernan No, the soviets and America used SSTV to send images back from their unmanned probes. All the manned moon missions used normal NTSC signals.

  • @spacehelmetforacow OK, thanks for that.

  • @davemckiernan I think they also recorded the NTSC footage frame by frame as SSTV on reel to reel tape (videotape was too expensive then), to get a higher-quality recording, but I'm not sure....

  • In the end you notice the video is out of sync. Very cool non the less.
