  • Yayy to the 1% this will benefit. Another toy for the rich

  • what ever happend to miapolis

  • didn't the city cancel this project because it was opposed by the public who didn't want another casino in the area?

  • I Expect to See It In The 305 Soon....I Really Love this Project :)

  • Please don't build there because it look awful... Shape like deformed skyscraper... Nobody will like your design... Designing new design now.

  • viajo pra miami sempre q posso! adoroo cara.

  • I HOPE THEY BUILD THIS FA REAL. MIAMI WOULD BE WAY MORE EXCITING. PLUS JOBS WOULD BE AVAIBLE

  • This is crazy, have you seen the traffic problems that is there already??With the arena, Bayside, the Port of Miami and beach traffic?????? Who is going to get rich of this big, big big mess.

  • Excellent. What about Hurricanes?

  • @namerg Don't Worry...I'm Sure For a Project For 3 Billion Dollars Has Been Considered How to Overcome such Problems Like The Nature Forces ;) I Hope They Buid It Soon

  • Lim Kok Thay will soon be saying,"I'm in Miami Biatch!"

  • Not to be mean, but his voice doesn't fit at all. To much Talk show over it.

  • A stunning vision to complement our city and set a tone for our evolving position as a world-class destination.

  • This is an ugly piece of shit.

  • @NewYorker366 I know, but they are already started construction. :/

  • WTF????? You are going to ruin such a beautiful skyline with this UGLY crap. Is there no city in the world that's not being destroyed by modern "architecture". My god, the good taste is completely gone. Now everything is a f***ing CIRCUS!!!!

  • good

  • I guess it's time for me to move up north and come visit when I feel like it. The Miami that I was born and raised in - is no more.

  • I think this is a fantastic idea, only if the Casino is as heavily taxed as they are in Vegas. Miami could use a lot of money to rebuild on their infrastructure. We need high - speed eco-frienly and efficient public transport now. The traffic levels have gotten absurd, and parking is ridiculously expensive, along with gas. Change is good sometimes.. we need a new tourism gimmick. As for small businesses around the resort- This could go either way. There definitely will be more traffic

  • What about tornadoes and hurricanes.

  • What's with all the hate, I think this looks sick!

  • Where will be the homeless of Overtown??? Will be the valet parking of resort???

  • what a ghastly joke. this really aims low - both concept and design. a tragic mistake.

  • y dont u start by building some parking lots?

  • Miami Baby!!!!

  • esto es una mierdaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • The traffic will he horrendous.

  • I agree with Luther Campbell this monstrocity will kill South Beach and Downtown's evolution. Plus the jobs are all service jobs which makes it impossible for employees to live within 20 minutes.

  • I AGREE THEY WERE INSPIRED BY DUBAI

  • i hope this thing burns to the ground. they want to just rape every last piece of open land left in south florida. when will anyone realize that no every person in the world can live in miami?! i grew up here and its full enough with plenty of fantastic resorts but come one. leave south florida be for now. what makes a tropical place beautiful is an unobstructed view from towers and buildings. not to mention theres just no way the small streets can handle the traffic.

  • the inspiration was Dubai!

  • @PAPERMOONSKY i think i love you

  • So has anyone seen the DEAD CAT HUNG on the tree!!! 3:50 / 6:04

amazing project but poor observation on its picture choice's.

    Sammy

  • Sometimes "too much" is just that. Not sure if this will be a good thing for our city.

  • Looks amazing but it should be affordable to everyone so it can help bring the economy up

  • that's great, you bastards deleted my previous comment. let me re-state my concern, until you delete this comment again:

On behalf of City of Miami residents,

Genting, we are fighting you in Tallahassee. We don't want your hideous monstrosity, nor the 800,000 square foot casino (that you conveniently left out of this video) that comes with it. Our infrastructure cannot support this bullshit, nor will we allow your 50+ restaurants and rediculous amount of hotel rooms taking business from us

  • ummm anyone else hate that dude's voice?

  • ARCHITECTONICA is a world class NIGHTMARE in Design! They are just exploiters. Already Brickell Avenue is littered with their 1980's "vision" for Miami and most sit EMPTY. The LAST thing MIAMI needs is this PSEUDO-FRANK GHERY wannabe structure to make a bunch of pretenders and posers richer on the backs of Miamians. I bet it falls the moment a hurricane comes. Besides the NICE thing about downtown is that from Biuscayne Boulevard you can SEE the Bay...now the view will only be for the rich

  • Mmmmm, don't like the design...

  • Wonderfull I wish them all the success in the world. Its time this beautiful city grew

up an stopped being a hick town

  • Its to tall to big and ugly ass hell

  • TERRIBLE... WHAT A CORRUPTED CITY.... INSTEAD OF INFRASTRUCTURE, THEY CREATE THESE HORRID BUILDINGS OVER SCALED AND ONLY FOR THE RICH PEOPLE.... BAD ARCHITECTURE REALLY HURTS!!!!

  • @amalita64 You do realize this is PRIVATE. Private companies can do as they wish as long as they follow the law

  • Amo a MIAMI BEACH y se que boy ah cumplirlo !!!

  • Comment removed

  • Not sure Miami really has the infrastructure to support something like this, but I guess we'll see.

  • The funny thing is that I live in Brickell, a walking distance from Downtown and 40% of the buildings in the area are 60% empty!!! The buildings across the street of that project are 20% occupied.

And all those things that project is offering already exist. Good luck.

  • @vjrei Brickell rents have actually jumped 30% year over year from 2010 to 2011 and they are rising. Occupancy has gone up dramatically since rental rates were on par with properties out west yet offered luxury ammenities and urban living so your assesment is suspect at best. Secondly, as you approach midtown, the building across from it isn't 20% occupied....it's an established building and it's occupancy is steady upwards of 85%.

  • @vjrei -- that's interesting I was just there, it seems to me more lights are on at night downtown than in the last few years... definitely the three big apt buildings across from AA Arena have more people at home -- unless the sales office just putting curtains up and leaving lights on here and there, which is certainly possible -- but are you saying Brickell Ikon is 60% empty? Epic?

  • You know what the problem is with this country ? That we have ignorant and non progressive citizens, people who prefer living the status-quot and afraid of change. I hope and I know they will build this, this city needs it, we need to re-energize our city and bring jobs and revenue and surpass other cities across the country. AND for those of you "sourpuss" people who only know how to critique like a bunch of b****.. do us a favor AND STFU

  • @danny1293 - This is one reason I don't put much in restaurant reviews,151 likes vs 13 dislikes, and yet on this single page at least 6 of the 13 have whined, and the happy 151 went on with their lives. It's not like this is going up in Kendall or Homestead, the location is spectacular. If it's done right, Miami will close the gap on Orlando's lead for tourism, epecially if localized gambling like the Hard Rock is allowed. Only thing needed is good access. It's local tourism $,& jobs. Win,Win!!!

  • @Man18Colts IDK why the fuck people are bashing on the arquitecture. FUCK do they want commie blocks or what?

I dont think Miami will outlead Orlando in tourism (Disney itself brings half of the universe), but projects like this surely help a lot.

I really don't understand the laws in the US..for real. In the reserves they allow gambling but not on other cities. WTF,why can' they allow a Hard Rock??Drinking & gambling are "prohibited"shit in the US...sometimes it amuses me. 21 to drink, seriously

  • May my dear friend Guillermo Juan Socarras rest in peace

  • They left out the part about how Biscayne Blvd. is gonna handle the traffic when those 250,000 people will "gather" there.

  • @averette probably the most important point of this video

  • @averette that's just an advertisment i'm sure they thought about this...i guess they will build its own highway or something like that...they considered that i believe that's a project for a 3 billion $ In Our City...I Trust Those Guys,My Wife too...We Are Very Excited about ut....and everything i see here...is negative thinking....come oon guys trust this guys i'm sure it will be great...and we will all enjoy having it in our City :)

  • What a horrendous piece of shit! Who designed this freak show?

  • @averette ARCHITECBUSLLSHITONICA

  • Muy bonito todo. La comida (FOOT ) ES CONGELADA?

  • give me dirt + ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL and f t sh

  • Thanks for giving me another reason not to drive down to Miami and sitting in traffic that's going on at any given time.

  • sigh. Last thing Miami needs in downtown right now... they need real civil engineers so you can actually drive around.

  • this is bullshit

  • Absolutely beautiful! This is just what Miami needs to keep up with all the futuristic cities around the world.. I love the design.. When will it be finished? Cono!! alright my friend.. :)

  • I see that people think it's not attractive, but it will work for Miami. Miami is known for unique architecture which is exactly what this is.

  • FAIL.

  • FAIL

  • FAIL.

  • FAIL.

  • FAIL.

  • FAIL.

  • UU - utterly ugly

  • In two letters - BS.

A complete nonsense in terms of architecture, urban strategy and economics.

Unrealistic utopia which is also ugly and unprofessional in terms of the massing, structural engineering and potential layout of the buildings.

  • I am so glad that I grew up there. When my parents got to the causeway you knew, we were near the beaches by the smell of the ocean. The only thing that was in this area was Shrimp and Fish that you could catch IN your tiny little boat. O Well I moved because it was getting to crowded - 20 years ago. Can't imagine what it is going to be like.

  • I like it. The city of Miami needs face lift.

  • @GuiaShopaholic Agreed....so let's get the same imbeciles who designed the Brickell "Rainbow" buildings to leave town and let REAL WORLD CLASS Architects change the look and feel of this town. We don't need another "Carnival" smoke and mirrors - all exterior and no substance architecture. Someone call Frank Ghery or IM Pei to teach these "GUAJIROS" how to design and build and incorporate into the soul of a place...

  • This is by far the worst thing I have ever seen. Talk about destroying Miami. If the city let's this monstrosity go up we will be no better than a Las Vegas, Dubai or Kuala Lumpur. Someone has to put a stop to this, as it would no doubt be the beginning of the end of the city. Think we have a problem with traffic now, with urban planning?

  • cono

  • An architectural monstrosity, is this a joke? There is nothing about this that shows any kind of "Florida style". This kind of design would look better in Dubai or Asia, but Miami? Its ugly. I am so very sad to see this, I hope it doesn't happen. YUCK!!

  • Another mall and parking garage with towers on top. Great, I always said what downtown needs is more unapproachable Aventura fortresses.

  • wow, that is unbelievably hideous

"it TERMINATES the vista" all right

  • @margaretminty Look for many companies to grow with this Casino, one i'am thinking of has the Stock Symbol EXPU, It's a penny stock, but could be worth $1.00 one day in the future. ?? who knows ?? IMO

  • buen futuro para miami que chevere,

    que vivan los arquitectos

  • Good for Miami. We need investors, ....welcome

  • Amazing

  • All they need is a CASINO

  • Isn't this site where the Miami herald building currently is? What about the metro rail lime currently running thru there? It looks and sounds nice but I am not sure about the location.

  • It's simply phenomenal!

  • BGRAVO! MAS TRABAJOS, MAS TURISMO, MAS POLICIAS= A MAS ORDEN EN EL AREA, MAS DINERO PARA LA CIUDAD, DIVERCION, MEJOS DE VIDA PARA FAMILIAS DEL SUR DE LA FLORIDA, FELICIDADES A LOS PROMOTORES, Y SOBRE TODO A LOS ARQUITECTOS POR TAN BELLO DISENO!

  • And how long is this going to take?

  • sound good but i live in miami in the last thing we need is more construction in more traffic

  • when is this thing being completed? in 2020? isn't Miami supposed to be under water by then?

  • set it up dui s for everyone

  • While they tout the brilliant architecture, we see yet another South Florida waterfront highrise go up without any consideration for the ample supply of solar and wind energy offered by the location. What kind of draw do you think this leviathan will put on Miami's fragile power grid?

  • I Can't wait for this to open! Plus a 3-mle baywalk area! Go to a Heat game, then walk over to a club or casino. Beautiful!!!

  • @Wdominguez20111 Please Visit and Share casinosmiami.blogspot.com/

  • LOVE IT !!!....WELCOME TO THE FUTURE....WELCOME INVESTORS, WELCOME NEW CHALLENGES, WELCOME NEW JOBS.....AND .IF THIS BRINGS TROUBLES, WE WILL SEE THEN.... AND WILL FIX IT !!!!

  • When will this get built?

  • they are dredging for super yachts to come dock in numbers...

  • malaysia is going to profit well. Also they way overpaid for the miami herald property in exchange for a nice fluffy story in the paper.

  • do some research before you get so happy at the drain of money on the economy. It was designed to suck the money out of those going on cruises.

  • time will tell, if casino gambling comes to so fla, then it will be wonderful..................

  • Was up everyone in South Florida. Come and see the new South Florida Coming soon. Opening thousands of jobs in Miami.

  • As a current downtown Miami resident I give this my thumbs up

  • waste of money

  • sounds like a stationary cruise ship lol

  • @csegui86 Yeah, youre just jealous because you dont live here.

  • @JOHNNYBIX38 i do live in miami...nothing to be jealous about.

  • Genting has a interesting history..From a small land from Goverment of Malaysia and now spread to the world..Hope you have the video about Genting history..
