This footage was taken before the Titanic had the enclosed promenade installed. At high resolution, the name 'Titanic' is visible on the bow.

The Titanic only had the promenade enclosed in March of 1912. When the Titanic and Olympic were last seen next to each other (and photographed), the the promenade still hadn't been closed off.

The film had it's share of accuracy as far as cutlery and set design goes, but it took way too many liberties. We don't know which officer was rumoured to have shot himself, therefore it should not have been screened; especially not without consulting surviving relatives.
