Hi guis. I have to teell you. Dont waste your money on this game until they release some adds or improvement. The german side is completely over power. Ive played amoust 100 rounds or more and i count only 5 wins on soviet side,. And i only played 2 times for german.
The gaming is too complex. Most of times you find yoursefl trigering and the shots dont come out. graphics are faling a lot for a 2011 game., If i had someone telling me this i would have spent my money in this garbage.
I have fun with the game but theres thing in it that bugs me. The server brower for once is god damn horible. It counts bots in acount so joining a game of 34/40 might in fact have only 2 real players... The ping is also false. You join a game with 34ping and everyone as in face around 130-250 ping. With that comes a lot of minor anoyance: ex. alt-tabing = insta game crash. If you can look past all that you get a game thats fun with friends but that can be intimidating to newbs. Good luck.

One thing Im a little disapointed is that they're doing some sort of ranking system, I liked the first RO since you didnt get access to certain guns at certain levels, you just play, now this wouldnt be so much of a problem, but to those who played the first RO, the rifle bayonet isnt unlocked at start, REALLY TRIPWIRE, THE BAYONET, ITS NOT EVEN A GUN, YOU COULD GIVE US THAT AT THE BEGINIGN... But I pre-ordered digital deluxe edition on steam so I get it all anyway :D But seriously
@crowman131 Well the tank gameplay is much more realistic than battlefield games that for sure. Instead of taking control of the while entire tank like in battlefield, you can take control of the drivers seat, the main cannon, the machine gun, and even spot for the tank. So the tank gameplay is going to be a unique experience.
it would be cool if u can play on a campaign where ur a German. we never had a game to see their side, and in Stalingrad when the Germans were surrounded, they had it worse than the russians
@Sotasukka I agree, WW2 was a REAL WAR! Hundreds of thousands of people died. It also had huge tank battles and massive paratrooper and bombing runs. Games about modern war lacks all of this.

@GarageCow They don't make it "SUPER" realistic, even Tripwire knows that too much realism is unfun. If you watch all the interviews you see that they only implement realism features if they add to the gameplay/immersion.

i think one of the coolest and most realistic things in this game is the reaction of the soldiers to the surrounding environment, tripwire is putting a lot of effort into this game and it looks like its paying off. This game looks so realistic and amazing RO 1 was awesome cant wait for this one.
call of duty was good when it was WWII, now that it's modern, with a horrible ranking system, incredibly annoying potheads and 10 year olds playing 24/7.. it's just taken the love out of the first 2-3 cod's (CoD, CoD:UO, CoD 2) I'm hoping this will take the place in my heart for original call of duty... Actually Macintosh is as capable to run any games as PC. No one just makes games to mac since PC is the mainstream system and there is so much less Mac users. Usually Macs are used in studios and other high tec surroundings while as PC is a gaming platform.
they aint gona show gore in the preview and not put it in the new game, R O is all about realism.

The gore reminds me of Brothers in Arms Hells Highway. I'm very pleased with the graphics. I just want to see more gameplay graphics to see what the rifles and everything else look like.
the movement of the soldiers looks strange and they run a bit to fast (like chicken xD) , I hope they can fix this before it is released. the weapon handle and the cover system is a good idea. something new in a ego shooter. would be also good when other players can see ur won rank badge and the medals on ur own uniform because I read that the uniforms can get dirty after a while. voicecommands are important too. indeed the graphic is very nice. does anyone knows the exactly release date??

@cucamonster15 If they're going for realism in war than they would have to keep the gore. I remember an interview one of the developers said they would most likely keep the gore but they wouldn't go all out.

they aint gona show gore in the preview and not put it in the new game, R O is all about realism.
The truth is this game isnt going to get nowhere near the buyers you would get with cod, but thats good for me coz i know the players on this are gona be proper gamers and not snotty 10 yr olds

The gore reminds me of Brothers in Arms Hells Highway. I'm very pleased with the graphics. I just want to see more gameplay graphics to see what the rifles and everything else look like.

the movement of the soldiers looks strange and they run a bit to fast (like chicken xD) , I hope they can fix this before it is released. the weapon handle and the cover system is a good idea. something new in a ego shooter. would be also good when other players can see ur won rank badge and the medals on ur own uniform because I read that the uniforms can get dirty after a while. voicecommands are important too. indeed the graphic is very nice. does anyone knows the exactly release date??

@cucamonster15 If they're going for realism in war than they would have to keep the gore. I remember an interview one of the developers said they would most likely keep the gore but they wouldn't go all out.
