ECP mod trailer for Operation Flashpoint

Hey, I've got a question: I am very happy with my FFUR 2008, anyway I'd love to add some of the features of ECP, especially the blood effects and the explosion effects, both for the grenades and for the veihecles explosions ( not for the other explosions ); my question is, is it possible moving only the pbo files from ECP addons folder to the FFUR one? I've already tried but I wasn't able, could you help me?

I love ECP. It's a brilliant mod that's breathed new life into the game for me. Its features are well designed and thought out and I *love* that it's so easy to customize. To this day I still haven't seen any replacement mod that has better effects.

@Breakerchase Depends on what you want basically. ECP is purely cosmetic, while SLX alters the gameplay somewhat, and i think it does something to the AI as well.

Does anybody know if there is an addon to change the radio sound?

Like when somebody says "Oh no... three is down!" You get that CHHH sound at the end of it? I would like to make the sound like Arma's...

ECP is truly an excellent mod.

I miss some of the nuances of FDF, though. Like the fact that it fixed the incorrect burst fire on some of the weapons and replaced the odd default breathing sounds (among others).

But, ah well, can't have everything.

how do you use mods? i download them then it comes up with a folder.i dont know what to do after that.

You put in the modfolder in the OFP folder.

Usually this map is called (in case of ECP of this vid) @ECP.

Then most mods require you to add an extra line to the shortcut of the game, though some come with their own shortcuts.

The line you need to add for ECP is -mod=@ECP.

The basic line is -mod=(name of modfolder).

FDF is a great mod, though some missions can be quite tedious.

No i dont think so. I think it requires 1.96, but why would you want to stay on 1.46?

And if you dont want that, i think there is a patch for 'regular' OFP, wich patches it to 1.96 without Resistance. Perhaps then the ECP mod would work too.
