Thanks for sharing this. I plan to make the track up to the memorial one day, and also fly from Newark to San Fransico to complete their journey. I had the honor of meeting a family member of one on board this past week, and I feel I know more about this flight than I ever did and about their loved one. :)

The people aboard Flight 93 died HEROES. They didn't stop the plane from crashing, but they did stop the terrorists from reaching their destination. It's believed that the terrorists were planning to crash the plane into either the White House or the Capital Building. Either target would have been a devastating loss. The 93 passengers fought back because they found out they were on a suicide bombing, but the passengers aboard the other 3 planes didn't, until it was too late.

I was in gym class at the time, and I felt vibrations from the crash from where I was at...which is Salisbury Pa, and thats around an hour and a half away! I was in 10th grade at the time!

Actually I'm not quite sure, to be honest. I heard that there wasn't going to be. But they could have changed their minds, which is the better thing to do. I don't exactly like going there, gives me an eerie feeling you know? Too many restless spirits!

We don't have any current plans to go to D.C., but when we do it certainly will be on the list.

I was driving to Pittsburgh on RT. 30 on 9/11. I passed Shanksville probably about a half hour before the crash. On my way back home, I wasn't really sure where it had gone down, but when I got there, there were helicopters, police and coroner trucks all in the area. I drove by there everyday and seeing the giant flag they put up on the crane there would get me choked up every time. It is a very powerful place.

i've been there twice. Once when i was six (seven, maybe eight years ago) and once a few months back. It's VERY, i don't know. eerie i guess. it makes you think about how many people don't take time to do little things like that, and just waste thier life away.

It's a VERY powerful place, like you said.

P.s. I live right oof RT. 30. I have to cross it to get to my bus stop for school in the morning.

What year did you guys visit?

I recently visited about two days ago. It made me remember the day it happened and I was only around nine years old. That day my mother took me home from school, and I didn't know why. When she explained what happened I really didn't understand the word, 'terrorist', or know where or what the 'Twin Towers', were. Now that I look back I realize how much has happened because of this. It makes me so sad.

We're glad you liked the video. We were there in September of 2002 around the one-year anniversary. Does it still look the same as our video? I know they were going to start work on a more permanent memorial. It's a day none of us will forget. It is especially important for younger people, like yourself to always remember. it is false lolz. It is seen that a plane has crashed into tower and, why its collapsed? because the fire weakened NOT MELTED the towers skeleton. It has nothing like explosives, american government etc. i hate those people saying american government did it

Dylan often compares the fire to other office building fires which were much worse, and didn't collapse, but he is missing a huge detail. When the planes hit, the explosive force blew the fire resistant foam right off the support structure. Eventually the V-Trusses collapsed.
