@MRPROH ... It blends, but wont heat up soup like Blendtec or Vitamix cos the RPM is not high enough to generate enough friction, but it wins against other blender at this price level
I actually found that the lower wattage "master prep" top driven model handled greens better than the square 1000 watt one. Still no where near what a vitamix would do, but better than the 1000.
Either way, you are going to get texture bits in anything less than a really good commercial blender. Everyone's tolerance to chunks like that will vary.

hey Iam from Peru-amazon, in my town we make many types of smoothies ....I suggest you guys try PAPAYA, orange juice, red apples, a little of pineapple, honney, black beer, milk and 2ice cubes....its freaking delicious.
@frozenwastes1 i bought one because i didnt see any videos on green smoothies with the ninja1100 and i have to tell you,. it dont make green smoothies,. only if you use lettuce,. not Swiss chard or spinach or other hard green leafy vegetables it will be gritty,. my $20 blender makes green smoothies great as long as i use lettuce! i returned the ninja 1100!
@shinnecockwarrior It'll never get things like chard, spinach or kale to the consistency a Vitamix would, but I find it gets into the drinkable range. I guess you have higher standards than I do when it comes to texture. That's cool.
@frozenwastes1 the problem was that there was a separation from the liquid and the greens, i expected it to be as if you are blending regular lettuce, there was a definite difference! but then again i guess i shouldn't be too picky and critical because it did a better job than the regular blender and it was more drinkable than the reg blender, i just expected more from all the commercials and the wattage power rating! i might buy it again and experiment!
good luck with your Ninja Kitchen System 1100, do post some video to share, I think the smaller pitcher should be handy for smaller job, I am considering getting the new 450 Watts Ninja Master Prep Pro for "smaller job" or order a small pitcher once it is available as accessories.
I wish I have a Vitamix, it's just too expensive for home use ... more video will come, kind of busy these past few days, used the blender but no time to make video ...
Thank you for the video.. I just actually ordered the Ninja Kitchen System 1100, I am very excited to get it. I make a lot of meals at home so the option to make the dough and everything else was what sold me. One of the first things I am making is this smoothie you just made here! Thank you for posting, I will probably start posting videos myself and I look forward to more Ninja Blender videos from you!

Vitamix and blendtec are way better
The1234789 8 months ago
@The1234789 : true, but theyre wayyyy more expensive, so i guess you can say this would be a great substitute if you cant afford Vitamix or Blendtec.

Thank you very much for this demo. Hope you do more soon.
Is there any chance you could do a side by side comparison with the Ninja 1100 and the Vitamix???
