@Paintballer4life534 Actually its not slower I'm in mid gear.Top speed is 45 mph not gonna do that on ice track with 4' wall drop off into rocks

correct Hilliard Extreme duty v-belt clutch

you have to be careful., those Hillard clutches tend to either explode or the key breaks out from in them, i have went through 2 of them already, and i've been only putting 3HP through them. i now use Max Torque or Comet clutches..much more dependable.

really ive had no issues with them at all put on a 12 hp also clutches have been in use over a year now put through all kinds of abuse still working mint by-directional is the reason i use them for these lawnmower buggies they need to be pulley side on top

3' centrifugal clutch on engine and change out the 6" pulley on tranny to a 3" pulley also took out the original axle made it live axle with 22 tooth sprocket

its an older toro 8hp 30" cut but gearbox housing didn't hold up with the 12 hp on other kart

centrifugal clutch on engine it did have foot clutch but not anymore

Try lowering your idle. that might be the problem.
