  • This fight not only turned me on to boxing but made me a gigantic, GIGANTIC Miguel Cotto fan. I have him to thank for my great love of the sport and for sure, the great love of a humble gentleman with great boxing skill. He has a hardcore fan for life in me.

  • Cotto is a good person. Its hard to look at his eyes like that. His corner should have stopped the fight.

  • kudos to cotto for being honest with himself and the fans. no BS excuses like other fighters out there.

  • For giving Manny a good fight...I admire Cotto...the Filipinos love humble guys...

  • a humble guy nxt to manny who could accept the defeat ...

  • That's the attitude of a Champion.

  • hmmm now the only two guys who punished cotto are going to fight, Pacquaio&Margarito... I know cotto will be the first to buy ringside tickets to that fight. Margarito probably has a better chance beating manny than floyd does. Hes hungry, and he wants to proove hes great without the plaster. And plus its his first fight back

  • indeed miguel cotto's really admirable.. bro you are strong by physique and by heart....

  • I admire Cotto.. Thanks for putting up a very good fight against Manny. We Filipinoes like the way you fight rather than Clottey. Thanks! Though you have not won over our Champ Manny, we still appreciate your greatness, toughness and the heart you put up in the ring with Manny, and by that I will thank you for putting up a great fight! God Bless and more fights to come!

  • i tell one thing that cotto put up a way better fight than clottey

  • first of all maximum respect to miguel cotto who is a warrior at heart and is without dout a great fighter! my personal oppinion on the whole "pacquiao vs mayweather" thing is that both of these guys are the 2 most sucessful Pound for Pound boxers of all time. i would give mayweather the edge in ring abillity and skill on the other hand i think manny is much more than just a come forward slugger with fast hands! i think this fight will be decided on who can control the "fight tempo"

  • if Mayweather can keep to the centre of the ring whilst keeping manny on the outside with a strong jab then he will win a points decision. on the other hand if pacquiao can use the puching ability he did against cotto and punch from unorthadox angles to confuse mayweather then he may have the upper hand when it comes to backing mayweather up and keeping him from controling the fight. my prediction is that pacquiao wins by decision or by late TKO! no disrespect to any mayweather fans! he is Great

  • Love ya warrior

  • boxer cannot win or beat the best boxers on steroid alone. ok let's pick 1 good figther and use steroid, let's see if they can beat cotto. Clearly Pacquiao is just too good.

  • How can a guy start at 106 pounds move up to 147 and maintain hes speed and gain more power? Pacquiao is the first fighter EVER in the history of boxing to increase he knockout ration while moving up. He is clearly using steroids, that why he came up with excuses of why he wouldnt take the random blood tests. I think Floyd is doing a good job by saying hes only fighting guys who are willing to take the random tests.Shane mosley admited that he was on roids while still passing the blood tests.

  • floyd went up in 6 weight classes is he useing to thats basicly wut ur saying

  • clearly your just an egg head... why wouldnt you fight someone who was not proven in steroids? and fight someone that has admitted using one if you arent just making a lame excuse of running away like a chicken

  • @touchtone101 Slow down my friend...you have no proof...just merely speculations. Mayweather has no right to ask him to do the blood test. If the Nevada commission asks the fighters to undergo olympic style blood test then Pacman has no right to deny it.

  • Cotto looks like he's been in a car accident!!!

  • long live cotto!!!!! we love you brother...i fought up a gallant stand..u have my admiration..i hope u can come to my country "the Philippines"...surely the filipinos will welcome you with open arms coz of ur humility..great guy, grea boxer, miguel cotto, the toughest boxer ever that manny has fought

  • you wouldint be saying that shit if he destroyed manny would ya well manny will be getting whats coming to him when floyd makes him look silly when he lunges in off balance check hook coming his way like

  • @richysowerby

    since you're hating i'll return a favor.....

    Fuck You!!!

  • tru tru warrior i thought it was over wen the second nok dwn came but this man is stuff of legand

  • We Love you COTTO!!

    All Filipino's LOVED you!!!!

    3Stars & the SUN!!!!!

  • you are a great fighter cotto..u are my idol..you fight t ill you drop..thats a true warrior..bravo

  • filipino`s love cotto...god bless,humble guy

  • its true.......filipino kick's ass like gayweather....

  • remember miguel, filipino loves u, ur such a humble guy ,a true warrior, gud lock of ur carrer n we pray 4 u filipino fans.

  • Wow awesome fight too bad one had to loose. i'm a flip and behind manny all the way but cotto your the man. It shows character in a person accepting defeat and acknowledging manny. Thats really big if you hope all fighters are like you. good luck to the both of you on your future fights.

  • He fought a very strong fighter. This experience will help him in his coming battles.

  • now that's a true fighter acknowledging his opponents strengths. much respect to you cotto and thank you for putting out a good fight with manny. not that i dislike your current trainer but i think cotto needs a more experienced and veteran trainer, but for the love of the sport don't get mayweather sr. because he's all bark and no bite. looking forward to see cotto back in action, and once you get you're groove back i want to see you take on mayweather. mabuhay ka manny take down floyd!

  • here son cotto is not in floyds leahe will just get that right ok and floyd sr must not be that bad of a trainer if he made the greatest fighter of our generation and guides dela hoya to world titles you pac nut hugger

  • hey richysowerby, that's my opinion..so its none of ur business if i praise cotto or not....floyd sr may not be a bad trainer but his mind is full of shit, he is like pontius pilate, he washed his hand when your countrymen hatton was floored down in 2nd rd.....

  • cotto made a huge mistake by taking young santiago to his corner. cotto lost the fight the minute he fired his uncle a more experienced trainer. freddie was right about that. if you notice santiago never gave any tactical advise to cotto. he told him to use the jab. cotto could have controlled manny with his strong jab. like he did in the first 2 rounds. but later he abandoned the jab. he mad critical mistakes like fredie said too.and he was making them over and over in the fight.

  • Cotto Is a great champion! Even though he was bettered and broken down he still tries to finish the fight on his feet. He also acknowledged Manny's accomplishments and superior talent. This interview shows us what a true champion Cotto is.

  • I always thought Cotto was a great champion and fight tonight he showed us. Not only did he try to finish the fight on his feet but acknowledge Manny Pacquiao's awesome speed and talent. That was a one of the best fights I've seen.

  • cotto is a great champion. im a filipino but i like cotto as a person and as a boxer. very humble guy. god bless you miguel anghel cotto.

  • much respect for cotto. true warrior. one of my favorite boxers. i just hate to see him lose. i hope you bounce back miguel. i'll be waiting for your next fight.

  • That's a true sportsmanship ... Congrats Pacman and Cotto.. That was really a good fight...

  • cotto still one of my alltime favourates.. he's pure class.

  • Cotto is a humble warrior. Hands down to you buddy. You are next Mayweather, Jr.

  • respect to cotto.. a true warrior

  • No matter what, I'm still a Cotto fan. On that interview he showed how much he's matured since the Margarito loss. Good luck, Miguel. I know you will be back.

  • I respect this man a whole lot. Nuff' said- he's one to be respected. Hope him well and his family.
