one thing i forgot when trying to fish in this game is you gotta repeatedly tap the the A button. i played animal crossing (both gamecube and cityfolk) a lil too much and i thought the fishing was similar in this game. so every time i held down the A button like in animal crossing, the fish would get away.

@Bunnyloverization Refresh and try again. Or reload the page, wait for the video to load, and then skip past the 1:41 mark and it should work. It happens randomly.

I have question do you know what I can use Mushrooms and Toadstools for when cooking because I never really got the point of what there use for?

@WiiWatch2011 Mushrooms can be eaten raw for energy during the day. Toadstools are good for nothing, but you can sell them if you want. I'm not too sure about cooking with them.. I don't cook in Harvest Moon, one of those things I hate doing. >_<

@WiiWatch2011 I mostly know about the bachelors/bachelorettes. I don't much pay attention to every townsperson except for the obvious ones (like Ozzie likes fish for example). If you'd like to see what every townsperson likes you can go to fogu.com. It's a large Harvest Moon encyclopedia for many Harvest Moon games including Animal Parade and it's very helpful.

@ch0colatemilk Ok thanks. I have another question sorry about so many questions. Once you beat the game can you still play your same save file because I heard something about once your kid goes over the rainbow he gives one iteam to your new file dose that mean it saves over your existing file?

@WiiWatch2011 You don't have to send your kid over the rainbow. It's your choice. After you beat the game and before you do the rainbow sidequest, you can pretty much play for infinity and it doesn't affect anything. If you send your kid over the rainbow, you'll just start the game over again with fully upgraded tools and stamina. You can save both of these to two different save files if you'd like.
