Its still up two Japanese men were caught in Italy with 134 billion dollars of US Bonds official don't know whether they are real or fake... of course in my opinion no matter what either way its got to be govt. made fake or real bonds given the amount...
But the real problem happened when they forced banks to make loans to under qualified people. I'm not saying people shouldn't have loans, but we should all be held to the same high standards.
But it isn't just the people with the predatory loans. It is those of us who had good paying jobs, had good credit and made large down payments on our houses. Then the economy took a turn for the worse and now we can't make the payments. If someone would have told me that I would have been unemployed for 4 months straight, I would have thought they were crazy. Now I don't believe there is any hope and it is depressing.
My property value has already gone down by over $100,000. I just don't know if the American dream is homeownership. I sometimes feel as though it is a ball and chain. Everywhere I turn, the economy is getting worse. Especially here in Las Vegas. Which by the way, isn't a very pleasant place to live. Living here is like living in the South. They treat people of color like shit. I am ready to walk away and keep it moving.
Wishlist2day, do not give up,that is what they want you to do. You got to hold on to your home and stand up for your rights to be treated like a person. Do what I do,refuse to pay them any money unless they modify your loan.If you have a subprime loan it is an "unlawful" loan. Too bad that our own government is now helping the banks to fight me so I can;'t help everyone to get the same deal they are offering me. Our government has attacked me for trying to help the people, but I won't give in

I have been forcing Wells Fargo to pay my insurance and taxes for the past two years and I have not paid mortgage since April 11,2007. They are offering me ANYTHING I want to drop the case. I swear I told them not even for a hundred million dollars; I am going to use it to help the people
