For Finland, it was either join the Nazis (Only major non-Soviet power at the time) and fight with them to beat back the Stalinists, or become a satellite state with no identity ruled by communist scum for at least the next 50 years.

@propatria431 You see, Sweden was a very very poor country at the time. We didn't have enough resources to fight back. After the war however, the countries needed wood. And Sweden have LOADS of forests and such, so basicly the war had some benefits for Sweden.

They didnt steal this. As you can see the name of the song is Finnlaendischer Reiter-Marsch and in English the name is: March of the Finnish cavalry. So this is not from Germany this is from Finland.

barcalonga, sicher weiss ich das, es wird noch in dem Finnischen Armee gespielt. (sorry, I must change into English, my German isn't up to this... yep, that's the way it is, there are some other marching songs from that period, like the Narwa March, which was played since the Battle of Narwa (1700) and nowadays used in Finnish presidential funerals. Originally a Scotch traditional tune. Finns were used as cannon fodder in the Swedish army that time. Not a Nazi march, perkele!
