steve chose to be a victim, and yeah i can say so, been in his shoes. He was an addict. one of the best , and talented guitarists, but there is no glamour in dying young, especially so in a case like his. RIP steve.

It was a good recreation of their Live: In The Round, In Your Face version, but I'm just so uncomfortable seeing Vivian Campbell playing Steve's solo... at least Phil could do it justice...

Oh yes. Phil obviously wasn't one of the original guitarists to write the song, but he was around Steve long enough to the point of being called a "Terror Twin" with him. That nickname was for both of their lead guitars sounding absolutely killer. Phil sounded a LOT like Steve in that respect, and as much as he was never "White Lighting", he can sure as hell play Steve's art and bring back memories.

As much as Viv is a great guitarist in his own style, it just isn't the same as Steve's.

I don't think they lost their awesomeness- just because their old stuff was way better than their new stuff- (don't mean to start anything here)I think it is amazing that after all of this time- about thirty years they are still going strong. Why you think they have losted their awesomeness?, they are better than ever, just becouse they have almost 30 years making music? i saw them last year on hidalgo texas, trust me they rocked the place, Vivian is great guitar player, he has been in the band 18 years, they are bigger now days, they can rock every part of the world, Nobody compared vivian and steve, they are different guitar player, it was joe's decition to invite vivian to the band 18 years ago, trust me it was the best
