I work at a sports book restaraunt on the Las Vegas strip, every game I tried to listen to her amazing voice, and every game people were oblivious to our national anthem being sung, by an autistic 7 year old no less because they wanted their drink. Finally when she sang for the final game I was able to hear it completley with no interuption from annoying guests, and boy did she nail it! Orlando Magic? Not so much!

Her singing is not as good on this take as on the final night, I admit..but THINK about his. She wasn't speaking before and now she can sing what I've heard is one of the hardest songs to sing!

I work with students with Autism and have for over 10 years and NONE of my children could have accomplished this. I couldnt even do this!

She is yelling a bit in this one, but can you just take a step back realize what an accomplishment this is for ANY 7 year old?

Thank you for your comment. I am happy to say Gina functions very well in normal life. She is a happy, social, well adjusted little girl who does everything you would expect of a typical 7 year old and then some. Early intervention was key in Gina's success in overcoming autism.

I have sang before NBA singing the anthem and could NEVER EVER in a million years have imagined doing something like that when I was only 7 years old....
