It seems useful but I don't really get it :o Isn't it rather simple to make something like that yourself..? I don't really see why it's useful when designing websites :P
@MrNuun It is useful because if your designer uses this system, as a developer you can download the framework css and then you wont have to style any containers for width / padding, its already built in.
@MrNuun 960 is based on scientific research into how the eye scans, and the brain processes, information on a page. You could do it yourself but using existing templates just makes it much easier. :-)
