@clidiere i got the original t3, it has a thick user manual, have alarm clock, and the lcd is very easy to read.. i dont know about your watch, maybe its broken..
@jomac21 I don't know about the T3, but my point is that matrix LCDs are crap. The legibility of the LCD on the T3c is not anywhere close to that of a Polar, for example, that uses segments and not matrix. The T3C comes with no thick manual. You have to download it. Yes it's true there is an alarm, buried in menus. I couldn't find it before I downloaded the manual. I still think that Suuntos look great, but they are not functional enough.
Hi, I bought the watch just a few month ago, so I don't have a lot of time for testing. For now I can honestly say that I'm satisfied :) The watch and the heart rate belt work really fine. From my point of view the main problem is a plastic watch crystal. It's very easy to scratch it. You must be very careful.
I've reviewed the T3D and had problems with its design:
1) Terrible legibility of the LCD. You can read comfortably only if light comes at a certain angle. The backlight is weak.
2) To adjust the bracelet, you need to cut it to your size. Unmount tools not supplied.
3) Stupid stopwatch design. To reset the stopwatch you need to reset the whole training session. That takes one long click and then two other clicks.
4) No alarm clock.
5) No complete user manual. Just a quick start guide.
