No, I'm not a racist. In fact, I love it when black guys learn how to talk "normal". It shows that they're educated, willing to break out of the norm, and they're not your stereotypical african american gangsta.
Blacks clinging onto their black accent after being here several generations is like a chinese or french guy still talking with their ancestoral accent after living in the USA all their lives. You just don't see that very often in other ethnic groups.

I feel that the main reason many don't (i.e., talk normal), is that their fellow blacks will see them as uncool, "Uncle Toms", traitors, etc.
