Originally they were going to use Zelgius in the last 3 chapters of the game under special conditions. SO you could recruit him after his BK vs Ike battle. However the 'All Knowing Nintendo' decided: No, we'll kill him!

See, that's what I mean by hacking foresight; they gave Zelgius, a normally non-playable character who's stats you can't look at without cheating, and gave him a bond with Sephiran. Nintendo gets kudos for that one.

Lol yeah it'd freeze and if it didn't then it'd just go into no animation mode,I tried using bows with sword users who didn't have animations in past games and that's what happened :P

I think Ashera has other magic animations. I remember seeing her use balberith in a different hack video. I think it was a hack of her in the first chapter, "Under Grey Skies".

Yeah,his stats are the exact same,she can use magic but not staves.

I think you need to beat the game once, on your 2nd playthrough, have Ike talk to the Black Knight on chapter 3-7 ? but don't kill him, then Sephiran should appear when the last battle begins. Anyways check gamefaqs for more info.

If you kill BK in chapter 7 you don't recruit Lehran?

You have to attack the BK on Part 3 Chapter with Ike. Then defeat him with Ike on Part 4 chapter 2.

Also you need bonuses from PoR

U don't need the POR bonuses to get Sephiran. Just use the BK in part 1 endgame, the have Ike fight the BK in part 3 chapter 7, but don't kill him.

@optantic Its having Ike fight the black knight when they meet during the run from the army but when have Ike's speed high or else he will get owned

@optantic you also need to have the Black Knight be in the final chapter of part 1

@gifluffy you have to be in the second playthrough or higher. in part 1 endgame, you have to put the Black Knight to fight, then in part 3 chapter 7 you have to attack the Black Knight with Ike, but both must survive. Then, after you kill the Black Knight in part 4 endgame(2) you'll watch an Ike's memory, so when you fight Sephiran, after you defeat him, he shall join you. Hope it helped ^^
