the dire wolf was a species of wolf similar 2 the gray wolf but about 8-12 percent larger and more muscular than the grey this is probably do 2 the fact that it had 2 hunt larger prey then the grey wolf does of today the dire wolf died out during the last ice age or if i'm not mistaken a relic populaton survived possibly up to 4 thousand yrs ago in Arkansas in the united states but it must have had 2 scavenge since the larger prey it used 2 hunt was long extinct.

Awesome show. I bought it on DVD just a few days before you made this tribute, strange but true. Having seen this one a few times, I know the scenes sych up just right with the music. I also like how you've used a remix of this song. I recommend Prehistoric Predators to anyone who likes Ice Age animals. Hail to the Super Scavenger, the shortfaced bear.
