  • aawww what an adorable and intelligent little girl! i was diagnosed literally a week before i turned two and i wasn't able to do my own sugar levels until i was like 6. a 21 month old made me feel dumb :L xxx

  • man i got diagnosed with diabetes 1 month ago and i have the same meter and pricker o3o

  • My grandson just got diagnosed at 23 months with type 1 diabetes. Thank you for this video and your others. Just like my lil Landon, Lucy is adorable. I hate to see our kids have to go through this but it just shows how resilent they are. I draw strength from Lucy..Stay strong!!!

  • @MrLilreggie25 I'm so sorry about your grandson. Diabetes is hard, but you're right, kids are so resilient. Hang in there and good luck to Landon and your whole family!

  • @MypetsCamoandStormy Thanks! Lucy is my little trooper and my hero. :)

  • What a brave smart little girl. My little girl, (who's not nearly so little!) was just diagnosed with Type 1 just 30 days ago, so we are still very new to this. We find Lucy's bravery and skill inspiring!! Thanks for sharing!

  • @tylyssanna Thanks! You will be absolutely amazed at how much better things will be one year from now. I heard someone once say, "It doesn't get easier, you just get better." And that's so true. Diabetes will always be hard, but you (and your daughter) will get so much better at living with it...and that's coming from someone with just one year experience. :) If you ever have any questions for another D-Mom, just let me know! Good luck to you both!

  • She is so precious. My little boy has hypoglycemia and he gets poked all day. He is 8 and still fusses sometimes. What a brave lil sweet pea!

  • @waitingformac Yeah, I'm so thankful that she doesn't mind the blood sugar checks...especially since we check it at least 8 times a day. Thanks for commenting and good luck to you and your son!

  • wow what type of pump does she have?

  • She is ADORABLE!

  • @TypeOneDiabeticc Thank you! I think so too... :)

  • She's adorable! She will be a, "non-diabetic", in her lifetime. My endo told me that and I'm 41.

  • @hazatude Oh how I long for that day! :) It really is encouraging to hear about the medical advancements being made.

  • she need a insulin pump...

  • @AudreyTerry25 She wears an insulin pump...and a Continuous Glucose Monitor too.

  • She looks like she'd be an awesome insulin pumper.

  • @scriabinetude Yeah, she is a pretty amazing little girl. She started the pump at age 17 months and the CGM at 18 months.

  • "One of Lucy's first words is blood..."

Wow. Lucy is a real trooper.
