  • God Save The Gruesomes.

  • cool!

  • Garbage.

  • surprised he has seen the future, his hair covers his eyes completely!

  • this band is cool...great sound...you guys just got a new fan

  • "How do your original songs differ from the covers you do?"

    "We wrote them."

    GOLD STAR.

  • Anyone know the names of the song paying here, specially the one that goes: ill cook your food and ill wash your clothes i hold you tight babe when its gets cold cause i can tell i can tell you dont love me no more, NO MORE

  • @funkaluca "I Can Tell" by Bo Diddley.

  • which song is at the beggining?

  • Bobby Beaton, you legend.

  • is there whole videos of this concert???

  • We wrote them

  • Kool..where are they now?

  • Cute comment, probably right but they are legends of Garage revival worldwide now !

  • It's funny how Punk, No Wave, and Garage all sprouted at the exact same time, but people only recognize punk as the driving force of rebelious youth subculture.

  • at the first sight they are looked like The Horros mixed with Ramones !!! they're great!!!

  • @thundervendetta Well, actually the Horrors look more like them.

  • @windrix1 The Horrors state in one of their interviews that one of their major influence are The Gruesomes. Check the interview with Naardwar

  • Post modernism. Post beetle invasion.

  • sounds like chesterfield kings

  • KOOL!

@OMAVIN: the first song is 1-2-5 by the haunted

  • Party in the Graveyard? I from Mexico I dont understand very well, does any one can tell me what exactly the sons says, or the song name ?

  • @OMAVIN

It's 'Murder In The Graveyard', a cover. The original is by Screamin' Lord Sutch.

  • wow... they're really hott but have NO TALENT! they are lame-o's who need to learn what real music is!!!!

  • Gruesome singing

  • Three toss bands..

  • Sorry, you lost me at Sum 41. And you pissed me off at punk.

  • There was a time, actually also known as "The 80s" when music really SUCKED!!! Thank Goodness for Montreal bands Deja Voodoo and The Gruesomes, they really rocked. And as for them being "teenage punks who know darn well that they can barely play music", well that's exactly what they were, so why fault them. Their shows always packed and had awesome energy, at least in their hometown. Viva Les Gruesomes!

  • I agree. Saw the Gruesomes. Never saw the Voodoo. Their tunes still sound good&fresh. When I first saw the White Stripes I thought, sh*t, Deja Voodoo has been robbed. Anyway, It Came From Canada!

  • @pmbear lol yes the 80s were horrible!! n it made a comeback =(

  • @pmbear not at all ,the 80s had gary numan ,bauhaus , NIN , the birthday party ?, mmm and I cant remember what else!

  • @pmbear What about the Forgotten Rebels?

  • GREAT clip!

Wish I could have seen them back in the day!

  • Iggy Pop and the stooges are 60's punk but at the end there's no rock/punk/alternative b*llsh*t/psychedelic/ country rock/ whatever

Its all Rock N' Roll music

  • @ChipMunkGuerilla

Rock 'n roll was a sham created by a white DJ to name R&B.

  • the closest thing to it might have been 'The MC5'

  • Have you ever heard the (american) Dogs from 1973? Or Richard Hell and the voidoids? Count Five? Electric Eels? MC5? The Stooges? c'mon man, how can you say that shit isnt punk?

It was around before people started labeling it as that.

  • @Bossk14 Of course; both 60's punk and 70's punk started in America.

  • 'how do your original songs differ from the covers you do?' 'we wrote them'

    I LOVE THEM SO MUCH.

  • not as good as the original by the haunted, they sound really stuck on themselves

  • I suspect the Gruesomes are just trying to make people laugh by giving a bunch of phony answers to the interviewer.

What we see here is a gang of teenage punks who know darn well that they can barely play music and can't believe that they're being featured on national TV!

  • yeah agreed but what could top that

  • nobody does it as good as the haunted

  • i love being canadian haha, you gotta love their sarcasm.

  • Can't be '89, 'cause Eric's still in the band. And they're talking about the first album. '87, maybe?

  • graciassssssss,autentico garage punk fuzz.

  • THIS is so hilarious "are you still a garage band?" "no we're in the bedroom" bahahahahaha.

  • Agreed!

  • GooD! The gruesomes are one of the most amazing band of all the time and all over the world.
