green day also does a good job of this, but i feel everything is so much more planned, and therefore less genuine. also rush is fantastic, but only to appreciate how awesome and talented they are, not to have a show.

I'm saying that he is using a high-gain amp, and not using it's full potential, Mesa Rectos (Single, Dual, Triple), sound amazing, once you get an EQ. I actually do get compliments on my sound though, by guys who have been playing for 30+ years. Each amp I've touched, I've gotten a good sound out of it. Guitar Center Manager approved sound.
