@RainUnderAnUmbrella You know, it does sound like he might be saying "I can feel the travellin" or something really fast - I've listened to it several times now since I read your post!
@anonymystery13 its "gravel". As in relating to the ground. Like a Gravel road, or owch i just feel and got some gravel in my wound. Hope that helped.
PERFECT usage of the song in Sunshine, absolutely fucking perfect. LOVED Sunshine, I LOVED it. Amazing cinematography. Boyle is the king of story telling as well.
Oh dear. I'm so sad that this movie didn't get the love it deserved. It was almost perfect to me. Few movies really resonate with me, and this one did. Wow, so beautiful, and this song tied up all the energy together so perfectly, only to bring it back down. Wow.
I concur. It was a good way to end. Very conclusive. Every character in the movie we knew died, but it was the start of a new beginning for the rest of the Earth.
If you need one reason to see Sunshine, it's the amazing soundtrack and score. This song is fantastic. Underworld can do no wrong, as far as I'm concerned.
This hit me the first time I heard it, fantastically strong (oh, and it sounds exactly like being in an MRI machine, without the vocals of course...I wonder if it's sampled from one?)
This song was a welcome surprise at the end of Sunshine. A great movie with an excellent score.
For all you wondering, this is the third track from "Lovely Broken Thing", part 1 of the River Run Project, a 25 minute mp3 download available at Underworld's website for 9 dollars, 8 something...real nice
Some people wondered what the "mickey" at the end is. Don't you think Mickey/aka disney represents everything American (not that that is bad) but that it is seen worldwide as our opulence perhaps?
great!

Find that background noise incredibly fascinating i have no idea how they made that otherwise a pretty shitty and annoying song.

come on now, the last scene of sunshine wasnt one bit sappy
it was a good ending i thought
especially with this song
the whole movie had a sort of... out there/ravey feeling and this was the perfect note to end it on
