how do you get yours to like being out of the cage. i have one, he is new to our home for 2 weeks now. How would i go about training him to love to be out of the cage

They actually don't like being out the cage that much. If they see the cage, they tend to bolt for it, lol. The best I can say, is just continue to handle them, getting them used to you and eventually they'll be more comfortable being out of the cage, their little safe haven.

We also leave the cage open sometimes (when no cats are in the house) and they occasionally come and explore on there own, though rarely far from the cage :shrugs: It really depends on the bird ... as we had the blue one for around a decade, so she's the leaderish and used to being out the cage, so the others tend to follow her...

I don't really know. We bought the blue and green one from Petsmart and white from petco if that helps any. We've had her, the blue one, for around 8 to 10 years now.
