@paigeeeeex3 Im like you, i decided to venture up to the cafe on floor 23, in which they let me after i told them why i wanted to go, soon as i got to floor 23 i walked over to a window and looked out, i looked down and realised i was stood on a glass floor in the shape of an oval you can see it if you look up frorm the ground, i have never moved so fast in my life, but you get some great views :)

Yeah i live next to it, its annoyance than anything as you can't get the noise out your head. The first time i heard it i thought someone was watching war of the worlds with volume up full.

So it's the hilton that's making that I can hear it all the way in collyhurst it's scary because I can here it at night and today when I went into town it was even louder when I went to first street which is near the Hilton. They should take that thing down that's causing it at the top of the Hilton

the only reason that ugly bit of fencing has been attached to the building is vanity! Ian Simpson, the architect (who happens to live on the top 2 floors, along with his imported olive grove), wanted to achieve some sort of record, so he had that monstrosity attached. I've started up a Facebook page: "Remove the stupid, ugly bit of 'fencing' from the top of the Beetham Tower"
