@MDthornton83 infectors are the only ones that can create other necromorphs; however, it is possible for a cadaver to turn into a necromorph if it stays near a marker for too long; that's why the marker makes people homocidal/suicidal; bc, after that, the bodies near it will turn to monsters which will make otehr kills themselves; that's how the infection spreads
