Ha, Dimebag Darrel from Pantera is one of my main influences on guitar, aside from john Petrucci from Dream Theater. And Metallica is highly over rated. Good (and highly influential), but they get more credit than they really deserve.

And for your information, System of a Down is the band that got me into heavier music. And bands like All That Remains or Killswitch Engage aren't too heavy they're a balanced blend of heavy and melodic. If you wanna hear heavy go look up Oceano or Born Of Osiris.
