They're going for innovation over graphics... that's why you're seeing a lot of older consoles higher up than the PS3. Becuase the 360 was released first of course it is going to be higher up simply because it had everything first. Blu-ray isn't that big of a deal.

IT has a more powerful GPU and more traditional CPU architecture, which is why pretty much any developer will tell you it's much easier to code for, and why pretty much all cross platform games run best on it. Sony really messed up, there's a reason why many devs have completely passed on making PS3 games or have released them late.

Ps3 Has lots of exclusives, and some new features, like blu ray, but xbox has a more solid multiplayer on most games. You really don't see people glitching up servers on it but PS3 is free and like I said, more exclusives. If I was IGN I would of tied them up at around 5 or 6. I mean, how is the Wii better than the PS3? :/

IGN having the PS3 as #15 just proves that they re not professionals. I would proudly say the Ps3 is the best console ever(so far)....it has so much capacity and capability. The most out of any console ever made. Its such a shame that IGN just went for the classics when coming up with this. People should know already that even though those old systems are nostalgic, theyre not the best out there. PS3 is the best console hands down

Wow, a lot of hate going on towards the 360... All the PS3 has over the XBOX is graphics, which is not a valid argument. And Blu-Ray is useless.
The PS3 is good as an entertainment system, while the 360 is a good gaming system. I'm not hating on the PS3, I think it's an awesome console, but I personally prefer the 360.

They're going for innovation over graphics... that's why you're seeing a lot of older consoles higher up than the PS3. Becuase the 360 was released first of course it is going to be higher up simply because it had everything first. Blu-ray isn't that big of a deal.

@jesusismyhigh123 Beyond the storage space bottleneck the Xbox is a far better designed system. IT has a more powerful GPU and more traditional CPU architecture, which is why pretty much any developer will tell you it's much easier to code for, and why pretty much all cross platform games run best on it. Sony really messed up, there's a reason why many devs have completely passed on making PS3 games or have released them late.

And one is not used at all. Also each core runs at 3.2Ghz..... While the 360 has uses a triple core which run at 3.2Ghz...
