@terrytaitt1 the real question will be "Is Jake really dead?" They were real careful to mention that only one of Jake's kidney would go to Josselyn and that leaves one kidney left for Jake. I don't think we have heard from the last of Jake Weber. There was no funeral, only a memorial. When and who shut off the machine to keep Jake alive? I think we can look for Jake Weber again before GH goes off the air and that will be the real soap sweep.
I had the feeling the writers were going to get rid of one of liz's kids bc 3 kids to one parent are "too much" for the storylines. I'm surprised they actually let Michael come out of his coma.
it was an accident its not like he did it on purpose and its true family can get through anything but it will take a long time but lucky i love him he is the one whos strong you see how he is with liz and especially jason how he touched him when they found out jake was dead and jason how could they take his baby from him terrible but this is sweeps month

this episode really hit home for me...ive never watched a show and cried so much....everyones talking about jake, but hearing the doc tell carly and jacks that their daughter might have cancer brought back so many memories of just 7months ago the doctor telling me that my 3yr son has leukemia...

lol. The point I was trying to make was that B.J. and Sam's unborn baby had just as much potential. Everyone's heart was breaking, but nobody ran to the phones to try and get it squashed. I was so hoping the spoilers would be wrong about killing Jake, and I'm so mad that it's actually happening. Jake as Jason and Liz's son had so much future story potential. How long could Liz and Jason have kept the truth hidden, especially in light of Liz and Sam's recent conversation that Jake looked so much like Jason. I was still waiting for Edward to find out and try to claim Jake as a Quartermaine. Damn you GH!

Why do I have a feeling that Johnny will probably persuade Michael to come and work for him. I can see it... They called for Noah Drake on the loud speaker. If Noah was in town there would be a storyline. SOOOOOOOOOOO random.L and L were really good together. It sucks that the Quartermaine's didn't know about Jake until this happens. Really good episode today. The montage had me crying like a baby especially Liz and Lucky/ Jason scenes.

Apparently whoever ran down Jake isnt who we think it is. It could be Franco, but how would the guy know Jake is Jason's son? I guess within the next few weeks Carly is supposed to get a call from Franco about Josslyn, so you never know. But if Franco did it, he deserves to rot in hell

Wow Imagine when she finds out that all this time she had a son and suzzanne was a eye for an eye ! I think Suzzanne started out wanting to get revenge but all the time she spent with brenda she realized she's not a murderer and it was an accident! So sad !
I love that this episode shows that even though luke acts like Cam and Jake arent his grandsons because of DNA, he still really cares about their well being,

Accidents happen all the time. Im only in high school, so i dont have kids, but i have a nephew. Even i know that you cant turn you back on a kid. once you turn your head there is a 99.9% chance of them getting hurt. The sad thing is, Liz turned her head for a second and the 99.9% thing happened. It happens alot, parents look away. So if this teaches anyone anything, it should be, its okay to look away, but just know, anything can happen, be aware of surroundings

The difference is that Maxie/BJ were cousins and felisha and bobbie loved one another as in laws this is going to be heartbreaking !!
Also, IMO, I think that this Carly (I'm not quite sure of the actress's name) is the prettiest actress to play the role so far. Just thought I'd add that in there lol
I'm sorry, but Brenda really annoys me. I honestly don't understand why so many men in PC are falling all over her. There was such a big hype over this character's return, but everytime she's on screen, I just want the segment to hurry up and be over. I don't know. Maybe it's because I'm a newer GH fan (I'm 20, and I've been watching the show for about 4 years). I'm not sure if it's the actress I don't like, or just the character of Brenda, but I wish she would STFU either way.
@goldiebee19 -- The thing is... When Brenda was on in 92' -98', then from 02'-03'...she was the most gorgeous woman on tv (and no I'm not exagerating. You should check out some old Sonny and Brenda clips). She was NEVER EVER annoying and it is VERY clear that the GH writers has RUINED a veteran character like Brenda. A LOT.. Yes for the first time since 2008 so yes the ratings went up and maurice and vanessa were amazing love the declaration of love he did for her and yes everyone had front row seats carly tried to destroy it and that didn't work !! @alilauren14 Well I have been a fan favorite since 1993 when she first came on and Brenda is still amazing today but you have to remember one thing like neetrab said the writing Sucks and that is because Guza doesn't know how to write Brenda. You see Brenda was so young then and they show her now mature with a carreer that has her set with being a humanitarium and working with children she's come a long way!!

@lilyfoxylady Im pretty new to the whole Brenda thing, i was really little when she left in 2003. But, I do understand her story, and who her character has been now, and then. My mom has told me a lot about her history, and ive watched some of it, so i kinda understand who she is and her past with men falling for her. There is one thing though, i dont think Jason has ever fallen for her like Jax and Sonny, or heck, even now Spinelli.

He was so skinny but they were best friends in school she went off on his girlfriend when she found out that she was two timing jason with jagger the boy that brenda was living with !! Jason kissed her it was on march 1993, he took her to the prom and he wanted to take it to another level and she said no.

I think that's why they fight like brothers and sisters they have amazing chemistry only brenda could get jason this upset !!

I really REALLY hate this storyline. The Jason/Liz/Jake storyline is SUCH a good one and they have to go and ruin it by killing off Jason's only child! :( I had read the spoilers and hoped that they were going to scrap the SL but I guess I was wrong. :(
If they really do kill off Jake, I won't watch GH again. This is so stupid and completely unnecessary! They could have done a different SL with giving Josslyn a kidney transplant or something -- NOT killing off a child. GRRRRR.

@Ramz166658 I don't think that's Franco's style. He creates havoc, but it's mostly all fluff. He doesn't have a history of harming children. So far Lisa's killed almost as many people as Franco. Franco's helped some people along who were already on their way out, like the gangster when he first arrived, and wasn't the guy who died posing as him already terminal, or something? You could say he was ultimately responsible for Carter's death, to, I suppose, but he's mostly just a gamer...
Steve really conveyed his emotion threw his eyes ... (good acting) Are they going to say Sam did it? I hope not... JJ was great !! glad Luke said it... Jake is lucky's son in every way that matters...AND THAT SUCKS THAT JASON IS THERE FOR EVERYONE BUT WHEN HIS SON IS FIGHTING FOR HIS LIFE HE'S IN A WAITING ROOM ALONE!
Is there enough tradegy going on. How about a few more piled on. How about Sonny's plane going down or Luke falling down drunk and getting hurt real bad....or since Molly gallivants by herself all over PC, they can have her get kidnapped. All that should keep us entertained for a few days.

The killing of Jake is such a short sighted move on the part of the writers. That child is a legacy baby : Webber/Quatermaine/Spencer...The Quatermaines were like the foundation of this show at one point; these freakin' writers don't respect HISTORY that's why this show will never last another 20 years. There was so much potential for future storylines with Jake.
@Thedavento Unfortunately for us Guza doesn't ever recognize/respect legacy or history. It amazes me when I look at a soap like Y&R and see so many of their veteran actors still engaged in front burner s/l in comparison to GH. I get that you have to move on but that doesn't mean you sacrifice these great families for shock value or for a s/l that doesn't make sense. Guza has even killed off the next generation of these families. It's sad.
@valsignia ...and I don't even watch Y&R anymore. I watched years ago but my mother still does. I was at her house one day when it was on. I was very surprised to see so many of the veteran character's Jack, Victor, Niki, Ashley, Katherine, and Jill, still in fornt burner s/l while still seeing character's I didn't recognize. Guza could learn a thing or two from them. That's why they continue to be the #1 rated soap. They honor history and at the same introduce new characters.
@shadale524 I wish Guza would learn a thing or two about using veteran characters. He annoys me with his "sweeps stunts". I wish that Jake was not sacrificed for sweeps and ratings. Who knows what Guza has planned for this s/l.
I think killing off Jake is dumb as HELL! I don't understand why they are doing it, it makes no sense at all! I'm not emotional, I'm pissed. GH is tanking because of boo boo like this. There are a bunch of people they could have killed off-Jake=big a** mistake!
@ladyluck538 - This was the storyline that was supposed to be the one to get rid of Rebecca (as Elizabeth) - she would freak out and go to a nut house after the death. But the backlash of the fans and fellow cast against the firing got her her job back, but they had already started filming the storyline and did not rewrite/reshoot. So now it really doesn't seem to fit. :(

I was so hoping the spoilers would be wrong about killing Jake, and I'm so mad that it's actually happening. Jake as Jason and Liz's son had so much future story potential. How long could Liz and Jason have kept the truth hidden, especially in light of Liz and Sam's recent conversation that Jake looked so much like Jason. I was still waiting for Edward to find out and try to claim Jake as a Quartermaine. Damn you GH!

They called for Noah Drake on the loud speaker. If Noah was in town there would be a storyline. SOOOOOOOOOOO random.L and L were really good together. It sucks that the Quartermaine's didn't know about Jake until this happens. Really good episode today. The montage had me crying like a baby especially Liz and Lucky/ Jason scenes.

Accidents happen all the time. Im only in high school, so i dont have kids, but i have a nephew. Even i know that you cant turn you back on a kid. once you turn your head there is a 99.9% chance of them getting hurt. The sad thing is, Liz turned her head for a second and the 99.9% thing happened. It happens alot, parents look away. So if this teaches anyone anything, it should be, its okay to look away, but just know, anything can happen, be aware of surroundings

I'm sorry, but Brenda really annoys me. I honestly don't understand why so many men in PC are falling all over her. There was such a big hype over this character's return, but everytime she's on screen, I just want the segment to hurry up and be over. I don't know. Maybe it's because I'm a newer GH fan (I'm 20, and I've been watching the show for about 4 years). I'm not sure if it's the actress I don't like, or just the character of Brenda, but I wish she would STFU either way.

My mom has told me a lot about her history, and ive watched some of it, so i kinda understand who she is and her past with men falling for her. There is one thing though, i dont think Jason has ever fallen for her like Jax and Sonny, or heck, even now Spinelli.

I really REALLY hate this storyline. The Jason/Liz/Jake storyline is SUCH a good one and they have to go and ruin it by killing off Jason's only child! :( I had read the spoilers and hoped that they were going to scrap the SL but I guess I was wrong. :(
If they really do kill off Jake, I won't watch GH again. This is so stupid and completely unnecessary! They could have done a different SL with giving Josslyn a kidney transplant or something -- NOT killing off a child. GRRRRR.

ita there is soooo much potential for Jake he is a Weber a Spencer a Hardy & a Quartermain. and newly Morgan( he legally changed his name)...and he has ties to the newwst family the Corrinthos' as Sonny is like an uncle at one time or another to all to all 3 parents Lucky, Liz and Jason ... and I know that Carly was dealing with Joss issues but she should have been aprised of Jake so Jason and Carly could be there for each other...JASON WAS ALL ALONE :o(

Okay, I love Jason, but he could of given up the mob for his son. Liz, did say all we can do is love our kids. Jason also could of taken that kid away from Liz if he wanted too.

@Ramz166658 I don't think that's Franco's style. He creates havoc, but it's mostly all fluff. He doesn't have a history of harming children. So far Lisa's killed almost as many people as Franco. Franco's helped some people along who were already on their way out, like the gangster when he first arrived, and wasn't the guy who died posing as him already terminal, or something? You could say he was ultimately responsible for Carter's death, to, I suppose, but he's mostly just a gamer...

Is there enough tradegy going on. How about a few more piled on. How about Sonny's plane going down or Luke falling down drunk and getting hurt real bad....or since Molly gallivants by herself all over PC, they can have her get kidnapped. All that should keep us entertained for a few days.

I wouldn't have killed jake off period, regardless of what they were trying to do. They lost a lot of stories in killing him. Stupid, dumb, stupid, dumb, and stupid.

i just thought about it. carly 's baby may need a kidney transplant and jason/lucky's song is critical after getting hit by the car... why do i get the feeling (without giving it all away) that those two kids' lives are about to intersect....in a sad way...

The killing of Jake is such a short sighted move on the part of the writers. That child is a legacy baby : Webber/Quatermaine/Spencer...The Quatermaines were like the foundation of this show at one point; these freakin' writers don't respect HISTORY that's why this show will never last another 20 years. There was so much potential for future storylines with Jake.

@Thedavento Unfortunately for us Guza doesn't ever recognize/respect legacy or history. It amazes me when I look at a soap like Y&R and see so many of their veteran actors still engaged in front burner s/l in comparison to GH. I get that you have to move on but that doesn't mean you sacrifice these great families for shock value or for a s/l that doesn't make sense. Guza has even killed off the next generation of these families. It's sad.

@valsignia ...and I don't even watch Y&R anymore. I watched years ago but my mother still does. I was at her house one day when it was on. I was very surprised to see so many of the veteran character's Jack, Victor, Niki, Ashley, Katherine, and Jill, still in fornt burner s/l while still seeing character's I didn't recognize. Guza could learn a thing or two from them. That's why they continue to be the #1 rated soap. They honor history and at the same introduce new characters.

@shadale524 I wish Guza would learn a thing or two about using veteran characters. He annoys me with his "sweeps stunts". I wish that Jake was not sacrificed for sweeps and ratings. Who knows what Guza has planned for this s/l.

I think killing off Jake is dumb as HELL! I don't understand why they are doing it, it makes no sense at all! I'm not emotional, I'm pissed. GH is tanking because of boo boo like this. There are a bunch of people they could have killed off-Jake=big a** mistake!

@ladyluck538 - This was the storyline that was supposed to be the one to get rid of Rebecca (as Elizabeth) - she would freak out and go to a nut house after the death. But the backlash of the fans and fellow cast against the firing got her her job back, but they had already started filming the storyline and did not rewrite/reshoot. So now it really doesn't seem to fit. :(
