HHH and HBK both tried to hold Rocky down in his formative years. Hell they went so far as to request Bret Hart(also an 'enemy')to take the IC title of Rocky so that they could bury him and HHH could have a free path. Of course Bret refused and lost the match to Rocky by DQ(as was planned).

So while The Rock may not be openly hostile about anyone,he sure doesn't like HHH and even HBK(regardless of what he said at HOF 08).

N I don't blame him, he has every right to loathe them.

My understanding is that it was HBK and Rock who had the problem, so much so that Rock refused a program with Shawn Michaels. I haven't heard about HHH's involvement, but I'm sure he was in on it some respect if Michaels was.

Truth is HHH and Rock probably feuded more than anyone else in the Attitude Era and both have publicly acknowledged each other as a huge part of their body of work.

That, and I don't think Rock was a huge politicker. I don't think he held a grudge. Nobody held him down

If you're talking about the "The Most Electrifying Man" DVD, there are four HHH/Rock matches.

Triple H has commented on Rock a few times. He doesn't do many interviews, but he did say that he put Rock over and Rock put him over more than anyone else a little bit before The Rock retired for good.

That being said, I don't doubt that HHH had a problem with the Rock. It was just HBK's problem, not Hunter's.
