Battlefront was NOT brilliant, it was just another knockoff of a tried and true game system. That doesn't make it brilliant. Battlefield 1942 was brilliant as it was the first to truly expand on that style of gameplay first seen in Wolfentien enemy territory and team fortress.

Battlefront managed to be horribly non-cannon, extremely easy to master, and while the first one took the battlefield system into the star wars universe effectively the sequel merely butchered the base content.
