Well if you bothered reading any history you'd know full well that they have suffered cruel and brutal injustice. This did not end with the last Aboriginal killing in the 1920s it has continuted on throughout the last century in the form of racism, child removal, continued land dispossession, police violence and such. Which is not to say that Aborigines should not seek employment or be responsible for themselves... had you any real knowledge you wouldn't say that kind of ignorant stuff.

EG. Aboriginals were relegated to reserves. There are examples of successfully worked reserves being stolen back by greedy non Aboriginals with support of gov. Aboriginals have done all manner of legitimate action to get some access to ancestral land, to no avail.

This is why Aboriginals on communities destroy homes because they were hand outs, if they had to work for them they would treat them like a whitey.

I understand your sentiments, I worked in the Pacific for years and decided that charity begins at home. However it was brought to my attension by a UN worker that my wife and I were nothing more than Bob Geldoff clones. She then stated that most save the world types (us) actually did it to make themselves feel good, it was imaterial who they/we helped, She was right!

Aboriginals presented to Govt a national Petition to the King in the 1920s regarding their rights. Govt didn't even bother passing it on. Aboriginals worked as slaves, literally, not getting paid for work on their own ancestral lands.
