****Newsflash**** This just in. Video game developers around the world are adding multiplayer to their traditionally single player games because it generates revenue and many of their fans demand it. In a related story some gamers continue to moan and whine over developers adding mutiplayer to traditionally single player games despite the fact it's inevitable and there is very little evidence that it affects the single player expierience.

Its a game option, not a forced way to play. Assassin's Creed didn't need a multiplayer option either, and there they have it. did it ruin the game? the story? no, so settle down about that.

As we have seen the rise of the casuals and online play, every fucking game out there wants to "become more accessible" (worst possible thing a developer can say in an interview or whatever.) or have some tacked-on multiplayer mode (dividing the team's efforts) just for that extra buck.

When there's income, the only thing that would stop the game, would be if the game was literally killing people. More than half of the ones that don't will buy it regardless. Who are you to say those who want MP should not have it when thier dollar is worth just as much as yours? I don't buy the argument that somehow SP suffers when MP is added. Uncharted,Assassins Creed did it,Elder Scrolls/Mass Effect will do it, and you know what? Those games will be great.

The trailer makes it look cool and stuff but trust me, when it comes to the actual gameplay, this multiplayer is very awkward. Especially when you just see people grabbing each other going UUURRGH for like 10 seconds until one of em eventually just dies.
